Dr. Porter and Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery was amazing when it came to my rhinoplasty that I got done in the Washington DC/Bethesda/Chevy Chase area. I extensively researched best surgeons on both coasts and ultimately I was happiest with Dr. Porter’s body of work and fantastic bed-side manner. It was clear I made the right choice with the great job she did on my nose that I enjoy to this day. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and patient, especially Kelly, the patient coordinator. I highly recommend this practice and only wish I went sooner for the procedure.

Dr. Porter did an incredible job on my rhinoplasty! I had been unhappy with my nose for years and was very worried about finding a surgeon I trusted when I finally made the decision to get it fixed but I am so glad I made the decision to see Dr. Porter. As a plus, all the staff in the office are very kind, inviting, and attentive! Overall an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone interested!

5 stars is not enough for Dr. Porter! After my consultation for rhinoplasty, I was more than sure that I would be in the best hands and any nerves that I had were gone immediately. Dr. Porter took the time to talk to me about my concerns, what I wanted, and actually made an effort to get to know me as a person. Katherine, my patient coordinator, was absolutely amazing from the time I met her up until my most recent follow-up appointment. She always kept the line of communication open, answered any questions I had (even the “dumb” ones), and just made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. On the day of my surgery, the last thing I recall seeing was Dr. Porter smiling with excitement as I walked into the OR. I was not only reassured that I had made the right decision, but I felt like I was kind of lucky to have found a doctor that exudes such beautiful energy and really cares about her patients. The pain was a 2 out of 10 at most. I was given really thorough after care instructions and Katherine checked on me a few hours after the surgery just to make sure I was doing okay. I have to mention Meghan! She removed the packaging from my nose the next day and my cast 1 week later, she was such a pleasure to meet! I had an Aerolase treatment with her and I will be going back routinely for my skin care needs! I have wanted my nose done since I was a teenager and Dr. Porter made that dream come true, giving me better results than I imagined! My nose looks natural, beautiful, and it fits my face exactly the way I wanted it to! I will be recommending her to anyone wanting rhinoplasty. She is, in fact, the best!

Dr. Porter did my rhinoplasty this winter, and Dr. Porter and her team are absolutely wonderful. They made me feel so comfortable, welcomed, and they eased all of my anxieties and worries. Throughout my consultations, I felt like Dr. Porter’s goal was to align on a plan that worked for my own face rather than a “one size fits all” rhinoplasty. Dr. Porter and Catherine at her office helped coordinate an AMAZING rhinoplasty for me a few weeks ago! I went in for a consult at the beginning of November and had my surgery early December, so I loved the quick turnaround. The process was super collaborative and the procedure went great, I had very minimal bruising and swelling compared to friends who have gone to different surgeons. I have been seeing Dr. Porter for more than a decade and I highly recommend her and her practice. I value her advice and never ever feel anything but empowered when I make treatment decisions. Dr. Porter and her team at Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery are the best! I had a rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction about a month ago and I am in love with my results, both internal and external! I had several consultations with different plastic surgeons in the area before finding Dr. Porter and in the end I decided to have my surgery done with her because she made me feel the most comfortable and confident about the results I was going to receive. She actually LISTENED to what I wanted and her mock up was so natural looking that I wasn’t nervous at all going into the surgery. The recovery was a AMAZING, my pain/discomfort was a 2/10 and I didn’t feel like I needed to take anything for pain, although I did anyway. I had minimal swelling and bruising and a week after the surgery I was back to feeling myself and my nose looked GORGEOUS and NATURAL! Everyone who knows me says my nose looks like it’s always belonged on my face which was so important to me and even better, I can breathe finally! I highly recommend Dr. Porter and her team for any facial cosmetic work!

I had a rhinoplasty done with Dr. Porter in March of 2023 and it was the best decision of my life. I always had a very wide looking nose from the front with a bulbous tip, and I also disliked the slight downward pointing position of my nose. After surgery there was a lot of swelling and I was nervous but Dr. Porter assured me that it would go down in the coming year and I would have the nose I always wanted. Now that I am mostly healed, I am very happy with my nose, it fits my face perfectly unlike my old nose which I always felt was disproportionate. I don't even recognize my old nose in old photos, I feel like this is the nose I was meant to have. Thank you Dr. Porter. :)
