So I've actually never been inside, but we walk our dog by here every day. Every single person we've met who volunteers their time here is so kind, and obviously very passionate. We love that there's a food pantry and free little library, which showcases their love for the community. It's a cute spot to take your kids and feed goats!

****Protect this garden at all costs!!!! **** Filbert Street Garden is an actual Oasis in Baltimore! The community members were kind enough to educate us outsiders on the things that they actively do to create tangible and sustainable health outcomes in the South Baltimore community. It was all beautiful 😍 proving that a little bit of love and hard work can go a long way. I went as part of an educational field trip with my University, but I want to go back. My son would absolutely enjoy it. I learned so much, and if these same strategies were implemented across all of Maryland, we could potentially reduce all carbon emissions, increase better air quality, and have better health outcomes for all people from all walks of life...

Filbert Street Garden is a wonderful place to relax. My favorite spot is under the trees in the summer season. Guess what? FSG has 2 sheep and lots of goats . Who doesn't love to hug a goat? Please bring shoes / boots appropriate for the weather especially after a heavy rain. Please visit filbertstreetgarden.org to keep up with the latest activities.

If you are passionate about community and backyard gardening, you will find the Filbert Street Garden fascinating! I attended a Baltimore City sponsored composting class there which was informative and engaging. I highly recommend the class! The surprise was the garden itself. On display were an assortment of gardening methods suitable for the novice to the experienced gardener. Additionally, there were a variety of chickens, ducks goats and other small farm animals which klds would find delightful! Lastly, I fortunately arrived at the end of a seminar on harvesting and caring for fruit trees. I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the freshest and sweetest peaches I've ever eaten!

Everyone there is so kind, sweet, stress free, calm, relaxed and helpful. The Animals are so beautiful and love treats from us! They Are sure to make your day! I even met Pumpkin Spice! If your sad or feeling alone the ppl and the animals will make your day! You will leave out of the gate with a positive mind set and a new outlook on life, in a positive manner. Enjoy the journey of life by stopping here and take a picture with the animals. THANK YOU and Peace and Blessings 🙌🙏🏽

Cute little enclosed area with goats, chickens, etc. Great for a quick stop, not much to spend time on since you're only seeing the animals thru a fence, and really only two sides are open enough for watching, but short sweet fun for adults and kids both. There's also a "give-a-book-take-a-book" box right in front, so pick up a good read while you're there!
