This shop is related with South Kolkata's heritage and culture. Radhu Babu's tea shop is carrying the same legavy today. We took tea there and took away Mutton stew and toast and mutton kabiraji cutlet. Their fish items are also very popular. Price much less comparing the other new and near by food joints. Recommended for evening tiffin.

||Radhu Babu's || This age old joint is located in a lane near the Lake Mall. Flocked by the locals and foodies, this place is said to carry a heritage of its own. They say that quite a number of eminent personalities have once visited this place for a cup of tea and toast. The ambience however isn't anything mentionable. Though an 8-seater, this place does serve you a good experience. Tried their fish fry, fish finger and chicken cutlet. The fish seemed fresh and the crust was pretty fine. Cost us around 150 bucks. For a visit to where Bappi da has been, fair deal? If you're a Bengali with an unconditional love for your cha and adda, this is a place to be. Some cutlet would do no harm either. An old and authentic tea and snacks shop. Fish Fry and Fish butter fry are so tasty. Quality and Quantity both are up to the mark.

A very famous tea shop of south Kolkata. A very good place to wind up debate on cup of tea. Items are average and bit overpriced as per quality.

Perhaps a true foodie would have been given this place 3 or 4 star but apart from being a foodie the extra point goes for the nostalgia Yet I belive this place serves one of the most delicious mutton stew and bread. There are other places in kolkata but even after so many years this place is worth it. 4 pieces of mutton for just ₹95. There are other foods too like fish fry, cutlet etc. which also has a separate fan base but my personal choice would be the mutton stew and bread, any day. Now post covid they serve outside the small cabin and it is difficult to stand and eat with paper plates but still the flavours are worth the wait maybe.

Tea is just superb ✨✨✨. Snacks are available at a reasonable price ,overall it's good.Mutton stew is one the most demanding items from their spread of serving.

Delicious fish finger, yummy fish fry. I found fish items are more tasty then chiken and mutton items. I tried all of them.
