It's a decent watchtower. The best place to arrive would be in winter. There are three separate levels that you have to climb by stairs. The stairs are very narrow, and can get crowded very easily if people are trying to climb up and down at the same time. Each level has a place to stand and provides you with 360 view. There's an artificial lake on one of the sides. You can expect to find a Spotted Deer (Chital), Crocodiles, and some birds. Spotting a tiger is very difficult, especially in the day time. Tigers usually stay hidden in shades during day time. You can maximise your luck by visiting in the winter mornings.

Sajnekhali Watch Tower is counted among the most renowned watch towers in the park. The reason behind its popularity is its close proximity to a number of resorts in the Sunderban area. This watch tower makes exploring the wilderness fun and easy. Especially, the bird lovers get a special spectacle of avifauna species such as Pelican, Kingfishers, Plovers, Lap Wings, White Bellied Sea Eagle, Whimbrel, Curfews, and Sandpipers.

This is one of the three watch towers you would be expected to see if you have been for one day tour. Watch tower is adjecent to the small artificial pond, so there are good chances you would see different types of birds around. It is very rare to watch bangali tiger from watch tower. But you can catch view of abundant spotted deers and if you are lucky sambar as well. There are many lizards and crocodiles.

The ride to the watch tower was good. The watch tower is also decent but it doesn't serve the purpose. Tiger sighting is rarest of rare thing.
