A small outlet serving numerous varieties of South Indian delicacies and some chat snack items. Also have some mouthwatering beverages option. A our vegetarian place offering yummy food maintaining hygiene, courteous staffs and hospitality. They have a very wide spread menu, recently I had Mysore spring dosa which tasted flavorsome with appropriate masala stuffing properly roasted served with three chutneys and sambhar. I had idli, vada, masala dosa . All tasted very nice yummy. The sambhar served is without onion and garlic , so it's kindof very comfortable no second thought place whenever we thought to taste South Indian delicacies in quick time. Surely a place to step in.

The place offers 58types of dosa and other South Indian varieties.. It also serves milkshakes and coffee.. It is A great place to hangout.. It is a vegetarian restaurant and very pocket friendly.. Loved the place..i had plain dosa and cold coffee which cost around 120rs..chutneys are great and the dosa was crispy till the end..

Most premium priced South Indian food I had till now. Quality is pretty standard. Taste wise I'll give them a 3/5. Hygienic and everything but I'd prefer the cart dosa for it's taste. I had a special masala dosa and dahi vada.

Absolutely fantastic south indian food. You can also have Pav Bhaji and shakes etc. Only downside is the space scarcity (that's why one star less ). It may specially be noted that any dish that requires curd (like dahi papri chat, dahi vada etc.) tastes amazing due to brilliant quality of curd. Pav Bhaji is quite good, only flip side I found is that the quantity of Bhaji is on the lesser side. Several types of dosas are available and they are amazingly good. Fusion type dosas (with cheese) are also available. Among the very simple types of dosas I prefer the Chilly Onion Masala dosa.

Perfect place for a quick bite!Healthy pure-veg food items served..easy to notice from a vehicle in normal traffic..helpful and co-operative staff..nicely decorated..it's just that the space is a bit short..but I'll recommend all to have a snack at this place !☺

Food quality is not like others.

A variety of South Indian dishes are available in budget, everyone can afford. Staff are good. Only draw back is lack of space. Ig you want real test of South Indian dishes in and around dum dum please try.

I have ordered dahi papdi chaat and special dahi papdi chaat, both were good. Quantity and quality of food is also good. Only issue in that place is regarding payment. You have pay with cash only. No upi transaction or cards are accepted here. I am a customer of there for last 6-7yrs, a good place to hangout and have some food. They offer dhosa, idly, vada, and pav bhaji, vada pao which seems little bit overpriced. But must try papri and samosa chaat, they are really good.

This is no doubt my favourite place to eat alone. I have been coming here since 2012. I just love the ambience and people. Super cooperative staff. Very well behaved. They always have a chair for me.

The food is not great..ok types and the place is not been furnished yet, hope it does it soon. The rates are cheaper than its other two outlets, service is horrible. They need to a make a lot of things right to make this restaurant work

I thought it would a Temple. Maybe it is. But, we didn't enter the place once we realised that there was a shop on the opposite street where we had to keep our shoes and then walk barefoot across the street to enter the Temple.

Tiffin room is the best and hygienic go to place for people in gorabazar area in dumdum canttonment. Love their spread of dosas, papri chaat and dahi vadas .. so fresh and yummilicious. Also have paw bhaji and upma in stock.. all type of north indian chaat and street side food.

Really good south Indian food, if you ever get a chance to eat here try the Onion Masala Dosa(80) and Special Dahi Vada(70).

The price was too high as compared to the quality of the food. Dadosa and idlees were high price and the only item I liked was dahi vada which was value for money. The entire dosa department of the restaurant is to sweet in taste.

A small eatery serving North and South Indian snacks items like chaats, idly, dosas etc. All the items are quite tasty and economically priced. Owing to limited capacity cannot serve many customers at a time, so sometimes one has to wait before getting a seat.

If someone is a resident of Dum Dum Cantonment and looking for a wholesome evening snacks or brunch that person should visit this place "Tiffin Room". The quality of Dosa here is almost the best. Have never tasted better Dosa than this outlet. The staffs are also very friendly and nice. Though the outlet is small and one might face long queue to reach the food during holidays, rush hour or other ocassions but it's worth waiting.
