Chose to stay at this hotel because of a late night arrival. Check in was slow. Room was fine with clean linens. Towels were clean, but limited toiletries in the bathroom. Apparently you can request additional items, but need to collect these from the reception - hardly an option for a tired guest with a missing toothbrush or a comb! The breakfast was rather disappointing. The quality/presentation of food and service were just about average. The cut fruits (watermelon and papaya) looked mushy. The baked items were average in taste too. I'll probably stay here again because of the location, but will avoid the breakfast.

I stayed 3 times in this hotel so far. But i never experienced like this time. I would say they should re-check their services and departments. Specially room-service, cleaning, food quality. Examples: 1. I called 3 times for a bath towel as their is not a single towels in my room. Next day i stopped asking for a fresh towel. 2. Their is no slippers for room. 3. I found ladies hair in bathroom, the shower gel was empty. 4. I stayed for 2 days, but the breakfast for 2 days are same. No changes in items or tastes. 5. I asked for a empty plate to my room, but again i have to do a reminder call as they give me the plate after 20 minutes. Also the plate was not clean enough. I really don't want to write such reviews, but this time i really not happy with their hospitality. But guards are really doing good at thier job. This review not to disgrace your service, but for better results.

These people should at least provide pick up and drop from airport .. they charge a huge amount for a drive which is within 1km of the airport. Room services are really very poor and I think there is shortage of staffs and good chefs. Room service is too costly and the taste of food items can be improved to justify the rates. Some of the reception people are good but some keep on muttering in local languages that doesn’t give nice impression to the guests. Breakfast buffet can be improved. I wanted to give some more stars and my aim of review is not to disgrace you but to help you how you can improve your hospitality. See you providing much better services next time 👍👍 Good luck 🤞

I stayed here for a day as I missed my connecting flight. Located just 2-3 mins from the airport, the hotel is quite new with decent sized rooms and a nice outdoor seating area near the hotel restaurant. Breakfast provides a good variety of options. The cons are the shower which feels more like an elevated tap water, and the absence of details in the room pertaining to the use of the phone and room service. The front desk reception can also be improved.

Good Hotel for a short stay. All facilities were good except for the mushy smell of the carpets as one enters the room and the design of the toilet / bathroom. 24/7 dining facility available. Close to the airport , well maintained lawn, reasonably fair spread of breakfast buffet, helpful staff.

Rooms are compact but has all the necessary facilities. Housekeeping is also good. Only complaint is that there's only one restaurant so choice of cuisine is limited. Food quality is good. As it is a business hotel, (walking distance from the airport) the property is not suitable for family with kids.

Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Behaviour of all the staffs were quite good and services are also up to the mark. We had lots of options for the buffed dinner and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. My advise would be to book room with dinner options always for this hotel. Location is a mild issue due to the metro train construction but easily accessible by cabs. Will definitely visit in future.

I chose this hotel because it was really close to the airport and we had a 5am flight. So location wise it was great for that purpose. However you need to walk there as there is no shuttle service. It is about 5 - 10 minutes along the highway. Even though we had an early check out, we weren't notified about the takeaway breakfast option and were told we didn't get to have breakfast which was disappointing. We also had issues with the wifi. Other than that it was fine.

An extremely well maintained hotel just next to the Dum Dum Airport, Kolkata near Gate No.1. Crown in the jewel is the Palms Kitchen and the location of the hotel. Situated on the Jessore road, Dum Dum, this is a place for relaxation and good food, beverages and multi cuisine dishes. Online ordering through app is also available. I came here from the USA to visit my husband and in laws. I chose this hotel due to great reviews and proximity to the Kolkata Airport. The average price for the queen standard room is pretty decent for the area. They have full service amenities including room service, daily house keeping, and laundry. They also offer a well equipped gym. The free breakfast each morning offers much variety of relatively mild foods such as eggs and chicken sausage, cereal, fresh fruit, breads/pastries, and some Indian dishes that I'm actually not very familiar with, but my husband likes them, too. The dining room is kept very clean, and there are always several staff checking in to offer drinks or clear your table. The outside dining is also quite nice, as the building blocks the sun so you can enjoy a nice meal outside without worrying about baking in the hot sun. The garden area is very well maintained. I always see someone out there watering the plants or raking the beautiful orange flower petals that fall from gorgeous trees on the property. The staff are all very friendly and courteous, and above all very respectful. The hotel is kept very maintained and clean. There are several hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel, and all of the staff wear face coverings. The only downsides to this hotel that I can think of are the tv stations aren't very great unless you pay for them, and the prices of room service food is a little high. Overall, a great hotel. I will always choose this hotel for any of my travels through Kolkata! :)

The hotel is very well organized. Staffs are very helpful, they are at your service when ever you call them. Rooms are cosy and very much clean. But one drawback is there food which we ordered in room lacks taste , need to change the chef. Looking forward to stay in future.

Had a bad experience of Checking in, in that the hotel had assigned my room to someone else and upon arrival in Kolkata (around midnight), I was informed of the room unavailability and was asked to shift to another hotel. Upon lots and lots and lots of calls and arguments, they finally managed to get me a room. That aside, the service was top notch and the food was delicious. A bit pricey for the room size and amenities though.

Awesome location to the airport! The service desk always helpful and Jaya especially attentive too. The rooms are very comfortable and the place is quiet. Nice food in the Palm Kitchen restaurant and the beer is cold too! Regularly stop here on business trips and will definitely be back.

During a business trip in July 2023 , i used the hotel for 9 nights. The staff is friendly, supporting and helpful. Check in, check out and all other actions with reception worked really well and quick. Also they organized an airport drop, for a reasonable price, 400 INR. I also used the gym several times in the early morning. You can't compare with a professional gym, but the basic exercises for the main muscle groups have been possible.

A very pleasant place to rest for the night before you catch the next flight out. Conveniently located, prompt service and comfortable bed. The breakfast is good too.

Holiday Inn Express Kolkata treated me very well during my stay from 22 to 28 June 2023. Staffs were polite, room was clean and comfortable. They helped me with early check-in. Morning breakfast was quite good and I liked the food whatever was served as it was freshly prepared. Special thanks to Mr. Shekhar (Front Office Manager) to book a cab for me on a day my Uber app was not working. You made sure that I was not late for my appointment. This is level of service one can accept from the staff in this hotel. I owe you Mr Shekhar for that favour on that day and will return to stay in your hotel next time I am in Kolkata (may be in June 2024). Being a frequent traveller to various destinations across the world, one suggestion I would like to give is to introduce shuttle service to the airport and to the nearest shopping mall. That would definitely add on to the convenience of hotel guests and popularity and footfall to the hotel. Overall I am highly impressed with the level of service and cleanliness and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Kolkata.

The room had a huge leak in the toilet that was getting all the floor wet. And the service is not only extremely expensive, but also ineficient. The room service billed me 1400 INR for 1 plate, 1 desert, and 2 bottles of water, when actually I had ordered only 1. Then, I scheduled a taxi for the airport with the front desk and they billed me 400 INR despite the airport is less than 5 min by car. On top of that, the taxi came 15 min late.

Conveniently located near the airport, this boutique hotel offers a comfortable and suitable option for short stays. The reasonably priced food and the friendly and cooperative staff make for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to try their buffet breakfast, so I cannot provide feedback on that.

I was not impressed with the service of the hotel, particularly the people at the reception. Their lack of knowledge and internal communication was evident regarding the information about guests. Plus the speed of working at the reception was pathetic. The girls took their own sweet time to complete a simple process of registration and retrieving details of booking. I was made to wait for 15 minutes after arriving from a long international journey and doing an advance booking. Room service boys were good at their job. Only advantage is the location of the hotel otherwise pretty below average despite the brand name.

Beautiful place to stay if we are looking for transit and stay near to the airport. This is the first and nearest facility available. Staffs are wonderful and helpful in every way possible. Lunch , Dinner and breakfast quality are amazing . The rooms are nice and cozy.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. The only thing different was wardrobe, which was an open space with proper sections but no doors. Some people might like it but I didn't (personal opinion).

Quick access to the airport.. for shorter travel best option for quicker changeover. I would call it a no frills hotel... Food options are fine..

As a travel enthusiast, I had a quick stop to Holiday Inn Express before I move for my next leg. Firstly very well maintained property,lush green gardens and clean rooms. Met another cute travel enthusiast Ashish, had good conversations about traveling and beyond, Had great food again with the help of him. All other staffs are welcoming and friendly. Thank you saurav who helped me with my room cleaning. Girl in the front desk was helpful, security lady is so welcoming. Will definitely be back to his beautiful property whenever I m in the city.

Great place to stay overnight if you are catching a flight at odd hours. Very close to airport. The rooms are well maintained and I liked the breakfast spread. Getting Uber / Ola to airport can be challenging so better ask front desk for cab - the rates are high but they arranged it quickly.

Hope they look into the readiness of breakfast. If they can't serve before 10-15 min of their usual schedule then also they do not have right to delay it by the same... Not everyone requests early for it. Only on day of checkout they acted proactively and provided packed breakfast which was just OK OK.

As we had a early morning flight and they were very efficient and even arranged for a airport drop. We settled the bill early morning without any hassels only we missed our packed breakfast . Arriving at 3 am to a welcoming hotel a few blocks from the Kolkata airport was so amazing. After a 30 hour journey, we found the beds, room, staff, breakfast and hotel wonderful and inviting. We stayed for two nights and would definitely stay again. Kolkata is a busy and bustling large city and we found our room quiet and peaceful. Sleep came quickly.

Stay was comfortable, Hotel location was very near to airport. Breakfast was good. Something management need make staff understand which I felt from my end is not happening in hotel, first thing front office need to check there system or log did guest made enquiry cab booking. Housekeeping team need to check with front desk team regarding room which is out to check out, service team need give simle including restaurant manager. Once more thing guest should never be answered back we are too busy cannot server cold coffee right now....which little disappointing, they could have simply addressed to guest by saying it will take some time.
