This restaurant is sooo funky! Really buzzing, cool atmosphere that is definitely a vibe for a date or friends. Did you know they do club events when the kitchen closes??? Our waitress was a gem and gave us plenty recommendations for my weekend in Dublin! Food was lovely, mains were lush, the tofu was plenty and my beef dish was really tasty. Waiter made out that it was super spicy, but I found it quite tame!! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is due to the starters. The asparagus spring rolls was literally singular asparagus pieces wrapped in pastry.. if I were them I’d take this off the menu….. VERY underwhelming and tasteless. My sesame prawn toast was very amateur and I’ve had a lot better elsewhere. Deffo lacks a lot of prawn. I would improve this dish. The Mayo on both was also very underwhelming and bland. Overall I would recommend this restaurant! The duck looks gorgeous!

Taster menu is certainly worth a go. We thought we had finished the menu and 5 more plates arrived! So tasty, amazing decor and really friendly staff that give recommendations.

What a pleasant surprise to walk in this restaurant expecting standard European Chinese food and receiving some of the most authentic bites cool Dublin has to offer. The appetizers - in particular salads are just to crave for (20 ingredient salad - woooow) and this is even veggie friendly. The mains also impressed with unusual yet super tasty spicing. Go for either Duck or Iberico. Make sure to check out some of the beers the menu has to offer - tasty local brews available! An absolute must go in Dublin.

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Great food, atmosphere and tunes. It just has it all and the food is finger licking. Special rice is a must and whenever we go they have a different menu that never disappoints. Get cheeseburger spring roles if you are there.

One of the best Chinese places in town. Food is impeccable. Might sound mad but the cheeseburger spring rolls and a Lady Angie cocktail is like having the best cheese burger and lemonade you will ever have. Char sui is top notch and the green beans are a must though with the Char Sui I opted for the veggie version of the green beans without the pork mince. Just the right amount of heat to mouth tingle. Sat up in the gold bar. Normally wouldn't be a fan of bar seating for dinner but this was perfect. The staircase upstairs takes away part of the bar serving area leaving you with space where no one is serving/mixing drinks which provides a great seating area. Cocktails were on point and quickly served. Would recommend this place to all!

Had an amazing dinner at Hang Dai while visiting Dublin last week. The food is delicious, as are the cocktails! The aubergine dish and prawn toast were particular standouts. I love the decor, the subway cars are a really fun design. Wait staff were also fantastic, very friendly and attentive. Overall I'd definitely recommend, it was one of the best meals I had during my trip to the city!

The vegetarian menu was great but they had no tofu which was most of the menu, I had the twice fried aubergine & asparagus spring rolls and it was really tasty. The service was okay, staff were a bit abrupt. It's on the expensive side too but cool decor and cocktails were good.

First visit and it won't be the last! Very impressed with Hang Dai....food was delicious, we had the best Vinho Verde there also. However it was the staff that really stood out, exceptional service in particular Kim who explained the dishes and made stellar recommendations, and looked after us like Kings, and the barmen who were super also,so friendly...... The decor and atmosphere is really great also I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Yum food, yum cocktails, brilliant atmosphere and authentic decor..... really no complaints at all! Everything is cooked to perfection and I was really impressed with the flavour combos (spice lovers paradise!). Would recommend booking ahead of time to get a specific table type (patio, booth options available). Can't wait to return and try some more of the menu.

The food is really delicious, but it's too dark inside. I don't mean make it very bright, but a bit brighter, so one can see their food. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere nice otherwise. It's a Chinese with a modern, European feel, so I wouldn't say it's very traditional. It has an upscale, cocktail bar eatery vibe to it. Definitely pleasant and would recommend!

Wow. Probably some of the best food I’ve had in Dublin. I have to call out that it’s not cheap. But the quality of food and impeccable service makes up for that. The atmosphere indoors one of a kind. We waited to go here when we could dine indoors and it was absolutely worth it. Great beer selection too.

It feels like sitting in a scene from 'Tokyo Godfathers' with a lick of disco smeared across the ceiling. Pre-order the duck, it's delicious and worth the forethought. Don't leave any crispy bits behind! The Chili Chili Yaw cocktail is extremely fresh and reminds me of my days of working in a PNW juice bar, but +mezcal. Dessert was underwhelming, but if you order it, order an espresso martini with it to dip it in, it'll be well improved that way. The staff were all kind; my server was that perfectly queer balance of attentive and aloof.

Unreal birthday meal last night with incredible tasting menu and attentive service - every single staff member was happy and helpful and looked after us so well! I had contacted in advance to say one of our party of 6 didn't eat vinegar and they had prepared alternatives for anything she couldn't have ....down to making sriracha especially for her without vinegar. We ordered the specialty duck (a must have!) and had food leftover which was packed up to takeaway with no issue. An incredible dining experience and very reasonably priced, thanks to all!!

The place is absolutely great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Place has a nice vibe, you can come in a group of friends or on a date. Food was fantastic. We got the tasting menu and got to try 8 dishes and nearly all of them we found it delish. Really recommend it.

Really blown away with my whole experience here. I had not made a booking, i rang two hrs prior and spoke to a friendly lady on the phone who was able to fit us in on one of there last sittings of the evening. All the staff were friendly and professional which really adds to the place! They have two menus one of which is fully vegetarian which is great. Cocktails washed down the food perfectly and our server was able to recommend what we would like after asking our spirit preferences. The food was really delicious and looked great as you will see below. Our evening was ended with a HB Iceberg which in my opinion was the perfect desert to end a wonderful evening. Thanks so much guys will be back soon :)

Cheeseburger spring roll was a revelation. The wagyu beef steak was fantastic. Dumpling was gingery, which was great!

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Everything was delicious, especially the tuna tataki. The cocktails are amazing. Staff are great. They also have a separate gluten free menu. ❤️

We had a lovely meal at usual. We visited the restaurant a few times over the years and has always been great. We tried the tasting menu on this occasion and they were kind enough to exchange one of the meals for a vegetarian option for me, which was amazing! Staff were lovely as usual. Only thing I would point out is that we always cook at home with low sodium soy sauce, so we noticed the saltiness a bit more in the dishes - it was not overpowering though, so we enjoyed each and every dish!

Love hang dai! Always great atmosphere, music, food and drinks! Last time I had dinner there, we tried Connemara oysters, which were very fresh. The squid was super tasty. The artichoke salad was okay. And the dumplings were amazing (a must I’d say). We had the market fish as the main which came with a seasonal pumpkin pure and steamed rice. The fish was cooked to perfection. I think two starters would have been enough food for the two of us. The music was super cool and the place was buzzing. We had some margaritas and some wine. 60€ pp. Better to book a table in advance!

Absolutely loved Hang Dai, already can't wait to go back. Delicious food, lovely people working there and one of the best takes on a whiskey sour I've ever tasted. Now that opening hours are back to normal I'm looking forward to being there all evening to experience a DJ set.

Such an amazing and unique experience, right in the heart of the city. Some of the best food i’ve ever! Atmosphere and interior was something else. Hidden gem

Very tasty food in a cool, almost club like resraurant. The dishes we tried were great, especially pork cooked over fire with hoisin suace. The side of their special rice was a perfect match even though I would prefer it to be more seasoned. The sesame fried toasty is an absolute must. The coctails were excellent too. They do bring dj on the weekend so I expect it gets pretty loud at the time.

Great Chinese restaurant with high quality food and hipster style! I loved how the authenticity married the sophisticated revision of the traditional taste!

Food here was amazing, cocktails were divine! Best ribs we've ever had, so good a member of our group went back for them take away 2 days later!! Duck wasn't available as we hadn't pre-ordered which is a great excuse to go back!

The food tasted good, it was a normal size portion. I had a Chinese omelette, which was the special that day. I also had the crazy frog I believe which was mostly ice and really didn’t taste like much. The only reason I’m giving it one star can be resumed in two words: food poisoning. I only had cereal that day and was perfectly fine, but a couple of hours after I had the food here I got very ill.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant I have tried in Dublin! The Pork dumpling were amazing and the Mapo Tofu comparable to what I have tasted in China. The place itself is really cool, a very surprising mix between a US dinner vibe, Chinese place and disco atmosphere. Super recommended!!
