Jerkies are delicious here
Highly recommend as the best farmers market on Vancouver Island, so we drove almost an hour from Victoria to Duncan to check it out on a Saturday. The market iss open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., which definitely allows for more visitors. Large market spread out in two directions. Dozens of farm stands, baked goods, a few food trucks, some artisans, etc. We purchased fresh blueberries, sweet carrots, baked goods and enjoyed live music and the general festive atmosphere. It definitely was our favorite of the farmers markets we visited on Vancouver Island.
Cute little farmer market, supposed to be all year round. Food trucks: good food and al mix berry yogurt.
My favorite Farmers market on Vancouver Island. Even in the winter they have an extensive collection of vendors. Always worth the stop on a Saturday morning.
Great vibe and atmosphere
If you're in Victoria and looking for a unique and lively weekend outing, I highly recommend making the 45-minute drive up to Duncan's Saturday Market. This bustling local market is a true gem, offering an incredible variety of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and delectable food options. What really sets Duncan's Saturday Market apart is the sheer diversity of its vendors. From organic farmers to small-batch distilleries, there's something to delight every palate. I was blown away by the selection of locally-grown fruits and vegetables - the vibrant colors and flavors are a world apart from the grocery store. And the craft distilleries and wineries offering tastings and sales are a real treat for any oenophile. One of my favorite aspects of the market was how dog-friendly it is. As I wandered through the stalls, I couldn't help but smile at all the adorable pups accompanying their owners. It created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. While I unfortunately missed out on the famed donuts from the market's donut stall (they were sold out by the time I arrived at 10:30am), I was still able to enjoy an incredible lunch from one of the many food trucks on site. Overall, Duncan's Saturday Market is a true celebration of local artisanship and community. The drive from Victoria is well worth it to experience the energy, the flavors, and the sheer joy of this vibrant market. I'll definitely be making it a regular weekend trip.
Interesting market - great choice of artisan foods and drinks, plus jewellery, gifts and clothes. Bought this fab silver bangle made from antique spoons! We were serenaded in the sunshine by a great singer/guitarist, too. Really enjoyed our two hours there!
Great little park for a picnic! Great playground for the kids.
Excellent food and lots to purchase quite a variety

Good variety of local products
It's the most wonderful market. They have a variety of vendors.. something for everyone! The food is absolutely scrumptious with an amazing selection to choose from. 😋
Lots to find all year long, best place to support local businesses in one location.
Great market. Friendly people.
Nice place to go
I came to the market to specifically go to the Folklore Chocolate tent. I already ate some before remembering to take a photo. I’m definitely gonna need to go buy more. Especially the mint chocolate and the lemon melties!
Excellent local foods, arts , and crafts. Easily one of the best farmers markets I've ever been to
