Really nice service, delicious food. A little bit pricey. We had to pay 5$ for parking.. I think that‘s inappropriate. Also, it was very noisy in the restaurant.

The rack lamb was amazing, but its side was just ok! I loved my margarita, but bar tender ruined my fiancé’s drink. In all it was very good experience our waiter was super nice and fast. Service was fast. Very busy place and nice environment. We will come back. Thank you

Had the opportunity to stop in for gathering and dinner at this amazing steak restaurant in June 2023. The location is perfect, the décor indicative of an established steak place, the service excellent, and the food exceptional. The place is definitely Dallas and brings the charm it represents. If you are a fan of traditional steak restaurants where the chef and the staff know what they are doing, this is the place to go.

Bobs is a gem hidden in the oak lawn/uptown area of Dallas. Of course on the outside it doesn’t look like much because Bobs has been around forever… but the food. The food is terrific more than worth the experience. It gives your the family Italian owned vibe, walnut colored wooden panels & bar inside. Waiters accompanying you every moment. The neuske bacon wrapped shrimp are huge and that bacon… I’ll just say Nueske knew what he was doing with that pig. He was seriously a pork connoisseur in my eyes. The mac n cheese was creamy, smooth like a Brie cheese was mixed inside of it. Baked & broiled to perfection with just enough crispy bite on top. The lampchops were cooked wonderfully but needed a little more salt and pepper. The creamed spinach was great, the next day I ate it as a spinach dip appetizer & the South African lobster tail with the clarified butter was incredible. The peanut butter brownie crunch was just ok… definitely needed a little more flavor but overall a great experience and would enjoy visiting again.

I've never eaten at a place this fancy before. First, the pickles are the best pickled objects I've ever eaten. The bread was delicious! The smoked salmon starter was amazing! The service was excellent. The Blue Cheese salad was amazing! If I come back here I'm going to make sure I get Kevin, he's great! And the ribeye was the most delicious cut of beef I've ever had! Then finally the cake and ice cream was amazing, as was the Judy's Happy Coffee! We could not have chosen a better restaurant for our anniversary!

Fabulous experience for party of eight. Crab cakes, filet mignon, Australian Wagyu, chocolate and carrot cakes were all delicious. The service was first rate including the birthday cake presentation with sparkling candles. Huge martinis and excellent wine list. Highly recommended!

Had a great dinner with co-workers. Filet was prepared perfectly, hostess, waiter and entire staff were pleasant. Apparently this place is know for its Carrot, as seen on my plate. It is pricey but you will get awesome food and service. I’ll be back!

Staff was very professional and friendly. Appetizers are good. The steaks are tender and flavorful. The veggies are fresh and taste great. The desserts are palatable as well. Everyone was surprised to see the large sweets we received after dinner. It was enough to share. We all enjoyed our time here. Servers should pay attention to allergies mentioned by your guests so your servers don’t offer or bring food guests are allergic to.

Pretty standard atmosphere for a nice steakhouse. Everything had decent flavor but I ordered a 12 oz filet medium and it was less than rare, slightly cold in the middle still. Quality of the meat was excellent but it needed to be heated all the way through at least. The carrots were also much sweeter than I prefer with the very heavy syrup glaze. Cost for 2 people was $250 so I would have expected perfection. We were never asked if our steaks were cooked properly, which has always been standard at any steakhouse I go to. The very small bit of lobster in my bisque was also overcooked and very chewy.

We were in Dallas for a work conference and decided to try Bob's based on recommendations from people we know who have been there. The atmosphere was a very unassuming, old school steakhouse with wood paneled walls. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon check-in. The staff were all very friendly. A loaf of warm , fresh bread was brought to our table within a few minutes of being seated. The bread was really good. The bread was very good. We started with Bob's old fashioned cocktails after asking our server if they have block ice, which thankfully they do. The old fashioned was good. I ordered a wedge salad and my hubby ordered the Caesar. The salads were tasty. I had the 9 oz filet and my hubby had the NY strip. The steaks were really good and cooked to order. The steak orders are accompanied by a whole glazed carrot and a choice of a potato. I took a few bites of the carrot and it was mediocre but I could've done without it. My hubby didn't even want to try it. Out of curiosity, I looked around to see how many people in our immediate environment actually ate the carrot and it seemed as though the majority of patrons left 3/4 or more on their plates. I chose a baked potato to accompany my filet and the gal who brought out our food had all the toppings for me to choose from to add to my baked potato. My hubby chose the smashed potatoes. We had glasses if cabernet with our entrees. For dessert, we opted to share the chocolate mousse pie, which was good but we both thought it was more fudge-like than mousse-like. Overall, it was a good meal and seemed like a local staple type of steakhouse. The service was spot on and all the staff was friendly and attentive.

I recently dined at Bob's Steak and Chop House in downtown Dallas, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was elegant, the service was impeccable, and the steaks were perfectly cooked. Each bite was tender and flavorful, showcasing the high quality of their prime cuts. The attention to detail and the friendly staff made it a memorable evening. I highly recommend Bob's for anyone seeking a top-notch steakhouse experience in Dallas.

We came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and everyone was very welcoming and sweet. We ordered the fried calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. For our dinner we ordered the 32oz tomahawk, very juicy and flavorful with a side of their gouda mac and cheese. I ordered the bobs cosmo and the husband ordered the old fashioned both very good! We ordered the carrot cake to go and it was so yummy and HUGE. Bryan our waiter was super helpful and friendly! The only thing is that our waiter was packing our leftovers but didn’t have enough hands for the rest of our food and another waitress came in to grab the rest of the food us thinking he sent her to help and when we came back home our food was thrown away instead of packing to go. ):

Felt super homey and welcoming (this is the original Bob’s). Food was very comparable quality wise to other big name steak houses in Dallas, but this meal just about took the cake (literally, the carrot cake was like a foot tall and delicious). Will definitely be back!

Our first time here to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing, we both had the 14oz ribeye. Perfect crust, and med rare, absolutely delicious. Our server Frankie was great! We will definitely be coming back soon!

John Carlos provided superior service the entire night and we were apart of a large Christmas party. The food was cooked to perfection. He suggested the lemon drop for our drink and he was absolutely correct to do. I look forward to coming back!

Great as per usual, but I do feel as if quality not only in food, but service has declined while prices have risen. And then skimping on the pickled peppers can be sad. I have been coming for years and was pretty underwhelmed for a Friday night reservation.

Excellent dinner, great selection, great food , great service. Really enjoyed my meal. The Lobster Bisque was delicious, the ribeye was cooked to perfection. The key lime pie was smooth, creamy and limey

Cracking meal at Bobs, lively busy ambiance to the restaurant. Had the lobster bisque, followed by the 9oz Fillet Mignon. There is a lot of food, so no need to order sides really, but tonnes of options! Good wine menu too
