Prayer Mountain is a beautiful place to go pray and meditate. As far as the church. My first time visiting the grounds today, and the demeanor of one of the members will turn away a lot of lost souls. Not mine that is. Had I not been a daughter of the Most High God. I would have been offended, But wow this. When the devil is a woman, today she and her offspring are it. As I was going to pray, something said ask them about the church, get a feel for the people. I wasn’t surprised when her first few words was like this is private property, I ask what type of church is it. She was like non domination, you don’t have to come to the church, to come to the mountain. All on the inside I’m laughing to myself like yeah I know but this is private property correct. She was like most people think it’s a park, and her offspring as like yeah people think it’s a park were they can come and hang out, smoke cigarettes. Wow. You told on yourself missy. I plainly said so never mind, and went to the mountain to pray. I meet a lady that prayed with me right there in her language without judgement. Poor poor response and first impression of that Church. The mountain, I shall visit regularly, regardless. Ase’

I loved this place, I will definitely be going back soon. As soon as I got there and got out my car you could feel there was a sense of peace. You can definitely feel the presence of the Lord there.

I absolutely love it here, there is a hiking trail here, we stumbled upon a very old bridge during the hike, there's a play ground, very lovely places to sit, a few benches, there's a chapel and several other worship buildings on the mountain. Very Serene! Now they have night lights on the grounds for a lovely view at night.

Went for an event here and it was so hot I had to leave. I'm really disappointed too. It was a long drive and something I really liked forward to, but they had us lined up in the heat for 2 hours and then cramped in like sardines. No air movement. There were quite a few that left and one lady nearly passed out. If you're going to host events be mindful of these things!

I know this place for more than 20 years thanks to my pastor who took us there for a prayer. I being going constantly to pray there but I notice people don’t respect the place anymore, people trow trash everywhere and girls go almost naked there, loud music in their cars people driving fast at the parking lot. IF YOU COME TO THE PRAYER MOUNTAIN HAVE SOME RESPECT THIS IS THE LORD HOUSE WERE WE PRAY

I can come here as if I was the only person here and be as loud as I want. I really like that about this place. I love the scenery, the peace and how well kept it is.

Prayer Mountain is my place of solitude and peace. One of my favorite places in DFW Metroplex .It is great for many activities, including hiking, cycling, jogging, and picnics. There are two "look out " decks, which grant a beautiful overview, especially at night. The sunsets are amazing. There is a church community on the mountain, which offer services, including a Prayer Center ( it is open for use). The grounds are kept clean and offer various places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Very nice place for enjoying the view, a simple walk, meeting others for a Bible Study. If you do go please consider donating a dollar or two in some of the outdoor boxes.

Lovely place that is one of the few natural spots left in the metroplex area. The church is medium sized and could host 550 people. The people are warm and kindly. The members are from many cultures and every race. Did not seem as homogenized as most faith groups are.
