The
not-so-high
hill
presents
a
all
around
panoramic
view
of
Belapur
and
adjoining
areas
of
Navi
Mumbai
from
the
top.
One
can
get
a
grand
view
of
the
CBD
Belapur
Railway
station
also.
The
winding
road
from
Belapur
side
takes
you
to
the
top
and
the
descending
road
takes
you
up
to
the
highway
via
Apollo
Hospital
and
Mayor's
House.
The
top
plain
area
of
the
hill
is
home
to
beautiful
and
quiet
residential
bungalows
with
very
little
commercial
activities.
A
Krishna
temple
(not
ISCKON
temple,
as
many
mistake)
is
at
the
corner
of
the
hill-top.
The
temple
is
of
Lord
Krishna
and
Radha,
and
in
another
form
Lord
Jagannath,
accompanied
by
his
brother
and
sister.
This
place
was
touted
as
the
Malabar
hill
of
navi
mumbai
when
the
plots
were
sold.
The
hill
is
located
almost
in
the
middle
of
the
city
of
new
Mumbai.
It
gives
a
great
panoramic
view
of
the
city
and
in
clear
days
one
can
see
Mumbai
across
the
creek.
At
the
foot
hills
is
the
Apollo
hospital
and
a
nice
tree
lined
road
takes
to
the
hill.
Many
beautiful
bungalows
are
located
on
top.
On
top
a
vipasana
center
Pagoda
is
popular.
Its
also
an
alternate
route
for
travelling
from
Nerul
to
Belapur
in
case
the
main
highways
are
blocked.
One
can
take
up
the
gradual
climb
up
the
hill
on
foot
using
the
tarmac
road
and
back
is
good
1
hour
climb
and
is
quite
enoyable
due
to
greenary.
This
could
be
a
half
day
picnic
spot
for
your
family
to
spend
the
evening
and
is
at
heart
of
Navi
Mumbai
