Timing is everything, especially when it comes to takeout. I ordered, expecting that my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I walk in, pay for my take out, then was asked for my phone number, which I gave. The lady behind the counter tells me she will call me when my order is ready and suggests I wait in my car. Ok. Another 15 minutes goes by without a call. I step back in and the lady behind the counter says she's sorry, but it will be another 5 or 10 minutes. I say OK. After 10 minutes, I'm back, she says it is almost ready, and she'll call. I ordered pork BBQ without any warning about delay, I've waited 45 minutes since my order and it's STILL NOT READY, so I cancelled my order and got my money back. Still, this didn't make up for the delay, my now cold other take out I'd ordered second and picked up first (SHOUT OUT: Fantastic Malaysian cuisine at Mamak in the same shopping center), or the fact that I should have already traveled back home and eaten by the time I found out it would take more than 45 minutes to make one order of your signature dish. So, if you plan to order BBQ at Ming's, make sure you get a clear and believable time that your order will be ready.

Looks Great but this place has really fell off. My Husband and I used to get great hot fresh roasted duck from Here all the time. Well we haven’t been here in maybe over a year.. the duck wasn’t fresh it was cold the and probably old I ordered a seafood noodle soup the veggies in it were hard and I got excited to here they were gonna be mushrooms in it cause I love mushrooms 🤨🤦🏾‍♀️ Sadly there was one chewy black mushroom in the soup 2 small pieces of shrimp and a couple of fake scallops that tasted horrible and some tough pieces of squid also noodle were under cooked smh we were so Disappointed… on top of that we noticed they food score went down and reading the reviews on here and our whole experience tonight tells it all 🤢 we won’t be back. Also girl at the front desk forgot to charge for something and ran my husband’s card twice without even asking💯

Just visited for the 1st time. A coworker told me about it this morning & I came immediately after work…I drove 1 hour from Fairburn to get here. I had the wonton soup, bbq pork, and wings. Everything was so delicious & fresh. It’s not a large restaurant, so seating is limited. The prices are reasonable & the food is authentic. Definitely coming back to try more items.

Let me be clear: the pork was the star of the show. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, the slow-roasted sliced pork captured my attention. Aside from that, this Canto-style restaurant was fine but nothing special. It's a no-frills, small restaurant with soap operas blaring on the TV in the background. It did remind me of my visits to southern China (a plus for sure) but it's not someplace I would sit down to have a nice dinner with guests. But seriously, if you like crispy pork, this is your joint.

This place is tucked back some distance away from the street; be careful not to mistake the other BBQ place for Ming's. Service was friendly and food came fast. The Cantonese BBQ is authentic and tasty. They only take cash and debit.

Best roast pork I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty through the US. Very flavorful. I live in TN and we would always get some on the way home from our trip to Atlanta.

Decided to stop in for an early lunch and will never be back. Service is awful. They are rude and condescending. Nasty looks and constant hushed comments. Food was okay but not worth the treatment. Charged for water, rice and cash only. 0/5 stars if possible.

Due to lack of business the food is old hard and not fresh. They would trick you with boney BBQ when purchased. Overcharging every things even taxes. But accept cash only to avoid paying tax. Not a honest restaurant. Mean service.

Love this place! We frequent this place weekly & order food for a week! They have excellent service & takes care of their Loyal customers. They have the best char Su in town and their tofu dishes are to die for! Many asians eat here so that tells us they are great!

We always order eggplant chicken fragrant fish casserole. We also order something grandmother used to cook. They do a good job, even with items that are not on the menu. For those complaining about the window... If you only see a few items and they look old, do not expect a miracle to occur on the chopping block. Recommend pass or make offer. Also, if you don't want fatty pork or have other likes/dislikes, be specific about what you want when you order! We only go for lunch or takeout for family gatherings. We would eat dinner here at least one day every month if they remained open until 9 PM. As it is, the closing is too early for a friends/family dinner/chat.

I was looking for the Mings BBQ that had the meat hanging in a glass warming bin where you can get BBQ or roasted meat like pork, duck, & chicken Chinese style. So delicious, but this was a smaller place with limited menu options for dining. I ended up ordering some stir fried vegetables and roast pork. Was okay, but not special.

Food was incredible and so filling. Will be back!!! I got the shredded duck soup, fried potstickers and BBQ ( sweet) Pork rice plate with add in fried egg. This was plenty for 2 people under 40$.

We had duck, roast pork, beef rice noodles all absolutely delicious. Just a heads up you have to buy water as the do not give you tap water. Also no credit card accepted for payment. Only cash or debit card. Ladies were nice in an Asian direct way.

I hate leaving a negative review, but there are a few times when it’s an obligation for a customer to do so. I went to ATM Just so I can get some bbq from this shop. At 6pm, there was 2 ducks and a small piece of bbq rib left. While the inventory was low, I still expect quality food. Paid $20 for half a duck and another $20 for the small piece of rib, only to find out when I get home there was no meat whatsoever on the ribs. My hubby, initially was really excited to try the ribs, kept asking me what kind of rib this is and why pork have no meat on the ribs. We tried hard munching on the ribs because the flavor was nice and we were starving, but eventually had to throw everything away without eating at all —- There was just no meat at all. $20 for a pile of bones. To the restaurant: PLEASE even if you are saving the real deal for your regular “Big Brother” customer behind me, don’t rip me off. What a disappointment!!!

I’ve eaten at this location for over 20 years and it’s still in my top favorite Atlanta eats! The roast duck and Peking duck is the juiciest, tastiest, crispiest I have ever found. I suggest getting the duck, crispy roast pork, beef chow fun (dry), and any seasonal veggie dish. If you want something on the lighter side, the egg noodle soups and congee are very comforting and delicious.

for the perfect asian meal - for those who want noodles, peking duck, crispy or sweet bbq pork. parking is not an issue in this place, ample sitting area, very friendly chinese staff (must be family run). quite far from downtown but so worth it.
