We’ve been wanting to try this place for a year, due to our schedule and when we come by, they are always closed. We were glad to be able to stop today! I had a fried bologna sandwich, my son had a cheeseburger. Lots of items to pick from on the menu, I would love to try breakfast sometime! The staff were super-friendly and we both enjoyed our sandwiches. We didn’t eat in, we got it to go as we were traveling with our dog. There was a nice dining area and convenience store with regular type items. We’ll definitely try to get by for breakfast!

Yummy food , nice people. Owner was great! Cash only , so we had to scrape it together but they have atm. Red hot dogs were my fave!

I drove 40 minutes away because of the high positive reviews. Oh boy Shan’s did not disappoint. The dough burger was out of this world. Fried pickles “OMG with arms raised” good. Fries so yummy and delicious Barq’s Root Beer to wash it down. Will head that way over and over again for this amazing meal.

Hometown Cafe features along with some store items, food is always good staff friendly prices reasonable, lunch time may have a long wait time, wish they had longer hours 😋

Shan's Place is like an old country grill. Great burgers, Hot Dogs fries onion rings but they also serve a fried bologna sandwich that has a quarter inch or so slab of meat. Everything is fresh and good. The service and prices are great. Not many of these kind of places left. Enjoy.

Stopped in to grab a grilled cheese with bacon. Was the best grilled cheese n bacon I've had on a very long time. Bacon was crispy, just how I like it. The cheese was melted.... yum yum. N it DID NOT cost me 8 bucks, like at a place I won't mention!!

This is the cornerstone establishment of the community... The food is very good. The staff are all a pleasure to be around and really do know how to keep that sweet tea coming.. The owner of the establishment should be very proud of her employees ... A1 service all around.
