My snowboarding trip was made perfect by Traventuria Team. From airport pick up, gear selection, fitting, to snowboarding class - PERFECT! It couldn't be any more smoother. Imagine, I was contacted by the online team about my flight cancellation earlier than the airlines themselves! They do keep an eye on your flight even days before the departure. I can't thank you enough for this Elizabeth H, Elitsa, Alex, Maria K and Juliana. You are the best! Due to the flight cancellation, Traventuria team assisted me to alter all my bookings. I had the best private driver picking me up from the airport who went extra mile to show me around Samokov, stop by at the money changer since I didn't have any local currency with me. The team at Traventuria Borovets gave me a warm welcome during the fitting session. They let me changed my gears and goggle according to the weather and my needs. And on top of all, I got the amazing Radi to teach me snowboarding. He is an absolute gem! Classes were made fun with easy instructions and demonstrations. I was confident to go on the lift after 2 hours of class and I couldn't have done it without his guidance. Thank you so much Radi! I definitely will come back next season and book with Traventuria Borovets. You should too!

As a Bulgarian I normally don't book my snowboarding equipment online and usually opt to speak to the locals but this year (Dec 2021) I decided to save myself the hustle, bite the bullet and reserve online, since I travel from London. To my pleasant surprise it turned out to be a great experience. Took them about 15 minutest to get the two of us sorted out. The prices are competitive. No hidden costs - everything is clearly labelled up front and you know exactly what you're getting for your money. Getting there, the staff was very friendly and keen to help. If your equipment gets damaged through normal use they will swap it right away. On this note, make sure to strap your board/ski while there and check if everything fits tight and snug. This applies regardless of where you rent from. Overall, I am very happy to recommend Traventuria and will definitely rent from them again when I visit Borovets later in 2022.

I booked "Full Snowboard Pack 4 days (lift pass, snowboard, soft boots, 4 days/2 hrs tuition)". Everything was perfect. Communication, the tuition, the snowboarding gear, the personal etc. - Communication and personal: They are really helpful and always smiling. I had no problem with booking, payment or communication. - Tuition: I got 4-Day Snowboarding Lessons from Dimitar in March 2023. I never put snowboarding-/ ski- gear before and had 0 experience. After 4-day of training, I learned how to ski. Dimitar gives nice feedback and I can compare the progress with an instructor and without the instructor. I saw other people without the instructor who started at the same time but did not show much progress. The feedback and ability to do the basics without any problem are helpful to learn it properly. I had so much fun. I can suggest everyone to do it with a trainer. - Gear: They have nice gear and equipment. I don't have much experience, but never had a problem.

First ski holiday and I used them for ski hire, airport transfer, ski pass and private lessons. It was super easy, gear was very good condition and just in general good experience. Our ski instructor was called radi and honestly he was the nicest guy and very good at teaching got us up to speed super fast.

We had Tony as our instructor for me and my 2 daughters. He was absolutely amazing. We had so much trust in him that wherever he took us we followed - never dreamt we would be skiing all the black and red runs. Thank you Tony, you are amazing 👏🏼

Great service. Everyone so nice and helpful. Went up and beyond to equip and help in any questions. Everything needed for skiing, snowboarding in one place. Snowboard instructor amazing, gave all knowledge required in 2 hours. Equipment guys very helpful with loads of questions and requests. Special hello to Boris 😉

Just got back from a week skiing in Borovets. Traventuria was fantastic - all of the staff were very friendly and helpful and do not hesitate to give you advice and swap out any gear if you are not satisfied. Price is very reasonable for ski hire and lockers (cheaper than the other local ski hire places), and is located a 2 minute walk from the Gondola which takes you right to the top of the mountain. Extremely impressed! Thank you to all the staff there who made getting up early to put ski boots on and walk up a hill more enjoyable :)

I used the minibus transfer from Borovets to Sofia. Very convenient and comfortable. Definitely recommended.

Booked ride from Borovets to Sofia centre and back. Driver was very kind friendly, and helped us a lot, including how to book etc. Not fluent in English but between hand gestures and google translate we managed to communicate.

It’s hard choosing a place which can help you not only with your gear rental but also finding the suitable teacher. I couldn’t have landed a better place for both. The shop goes always that extra mile for you as a customer. My snowboard teacher Radi helped me overcome that first time snowboard barrier and gain the confidence and the needed skills to go to the slopes alone in only few lessons. I would recommend both Traventuria and especially Radi to anyone visiting Borovets! See you next year!

Ski hire was all fine and they were helpful with confirming times / locations for lessons. Helmet & goggles were not included in our equipment hire, unsure if that was the fault of traventuria or our travel agent, additional £70 wasn’t ideal when we arrived. Also the ski shop is a good 10 mins walk from the slope / trainer slopes / lesson pick up which is not practical with a toddler, access to the gondola from here though is perfect, worth checking this before you book. and you have to pay to store your ski’s overnight (another unexpected charge) this is the same everywhere though, we just wasn’t aware. Lessons were superb, George was brilliant with our toddler and Tony for our adult lessons also. Our transfers however were a bit of a disaster….. The transfers were poorly organised both ways, inbound we couldn’t find the driver but managed to flag down another traventuria bus in the car park and he kindly took us. Outbound we were dropped at the wrong terminal. So had to get the shuttle bus to terminal 1. I would book through traventuria again for the staff and the lessons but the ski hire is too far with a toddler and the transfers were unnecessarily stressful.

Very positive experience. Radi was an amazing snowboarder & snowboard instructor. Was a group of 5 with different skill levels & he managed to keep up with us & improve us all. Always positive & always with a smile, very nice to talk to as well. Definitely recommend!!

Have used Traventuria for the past two years when we’ve been skiing to Bulgaria. Booking process was really simple and communication excellent. Pricing is very competitive (we booked 3 lots of 2hr private lessons for a family of four and it cost £320) and the instructors we’ve had both times (Yasen and Rady) were superb, catering for all our abilities. Will definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, I had some queries before our trip and staff emailed me back really quick. Our instructor was great, really friendly and very patient and got us going down red slopes confidently! I’d definitely recommend using Ski & Board Traventuria

We agreed a meet point on day 2 for our lessons and our instructor was no where to be seen 15 minutes after our agreed meet time which we changed to accommodate him (we paid an extra €120 for our specific time). Our instructor also finished our lesson 15 minutes early on day 3 which was also disappointing. The quality of the lesson was good however the issues above were not good.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough! Great staff running a very smooth system. Nothing was a bother when we needed to change any of our gear, which was of very high quality. Plus, the location next to the Gondola is a blessing to behold. We will be coming to you guys next year for certain! Thanks again!! ;)

The first instructor wasn’t really a match with our preferences, but the staff was really nice and found a great kind instructor from who we learned a lot! Great experience :)

I was here for 1 week and had lessons with radi. He was very good I enjoyed having him all week. Communication and price was all brilliant. All round very happy with your service. We recieved all together Lessons Snowboard hire Ski pass and transfers. Would recommend. Thanks for a great holiday

Hired two snowboards from here at very last minute. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the boards were very nice and new. My mate later decided to swap his shoes for a bigger pair and they did with no fuss or hassle. Hopefully we'll be back next year to hire from them again.

We have used the services of Ski & Board Traventuria - Borovets for the second time. Once in 2020, and now in 2022. We used transportation from Sofia airport to Borovets, rented ski equipment, and buyed ski tickets in a package. About the transportation: we gave our flight number and time of arrival, and they were there with the car on time, with a board with our name. It was very easy to find them. About the equipment: we used premium services. After the first day I did not like the skis, and they changed it for me for a very good one. We also rented a heated locker for our equipments so we could leave it for the night. It was for a very good price. Summary: All in all I could only recommend to use the services of Ski & Board Traventuria - Borovets :)

Great service and very dedicated staff. I changed 4 pairs of shoes over 3 days as I was looking for the perfect fit (they have loads of stock!). And they are always ready to help and up for a laugh. I had a private advanced lesson with Yasen and would absolutely recommend him. My skiing became uber smooth and elegant in less than 2 hours.

Ski & Board Traventuria - Borovets were amazing. The ski gear was very good, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the ski instructors were great. My 8 years old kid is a first timer, he had 3 wonderful days with Tony, who was very patient with him, even though my son's English is very basic. We will be back.

Used traventuria to book our airport transfer, ski equipment rentals, ski pass and lockers. The shop is located near the main gondola which is convenient if you are trying to make the most of your ski day. The equipment provided were not the best (comparing to my experience in the French alps) but were decent for their price. Would recommend their service if you are visiting Borovets!

I bought hiking boots, poles and a wind jacket, I’m very satisfied! The service was amazing, great staff are really nice and helpful. Maria and Krasi are lovely❤️
