If you need to stay near Galeão Airport, this is the best hotel in the area. The rooms are modern and clean, they have airport shuttles, a great restaurant and the amenities are also very good. The outdoor pool is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to check out much later than stated, because my flight was in the late evening.

The internet was not working in the room. There was a Student party going on and it was super loud. It just finished at 5AM, so no sleep. The beds are small and uncomfortable. The decoration is super old. Well… For the same price, I can have way better hotels in Europe. It is just not worth it.

I had NO ELECTRICITY in my room. Only the fridge work, which I neither needed or used. I spent a lot of money for a room to shower and sleep before my day after my flight and was in a huge hurry, so the fact that none of the lights worked and it was too dark to shower? Absolutely unheard of, even if I hadn't spend all the money I did for merely 5 hours or so. I am still waiting for a manager to contact me regarding this.

Worst experience of my several weeks in South America. Policies are arbitrary and discriminatory. Management is vindictive and dishonest. Lucas should be fired--his lack of professionalism and ill-treatment of guests cost me $100. Literally ruined my time in Rio, less for the costs incurred and more due to the vindictive discrimination. If you want to feel safe and respected, avoid this hotel. Also, hotel is very run down. Does not look like the pictures.

i was stuck in Rio overnight and went t to Linx because it was nearby and based on the pictures online. it was almost 2 am, i did not have a reservation but i was able to get a room and check in was a breeze. check out was also seamless and the ladies at reception were very welcoming and professional. i had lunch at the restaurant after checking out and it was superb. The free airport shuttle was definitely a plus. It's a very nice hotel with great rooms.

I booked this hotel due mainly to its proximity to the airport. Having been mostly disappointed with the hotels we stayed in Rio (where the rooms where old and in heavy need of repairs), I went with zero expectations. I was very pleased to find a sleek, modern room (with ironically the best bed I slept in my entire trip). The hotel was very nice, stylish and the receptionists spoke Spanish fluently. We stayed for one night only since our flight back to our country took off very early in the morning. Best decision ever. I would highly recommend it.

It's a great hotel for those who seek convenience. It is the closest hotel to the Airport. It is extremely clean and the suites are very spacious. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the pool but it was very inviting.

Expensive the only thing that’s good about this place is that it’s close to the airport besides that I really don’t recommend it. You’re probably better off staying inside the city paying less paying for Uber to bring it to the airport because this place is disconnected from the airport to begin with Cleanliness was not the best

Just what needed! A good hotel close to the airport to catch an early flight and with reliable shuttle service. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Another BIG plus was its closeness to Localiza Car Rental. I dropped the car and walk 2 minutes to the hotel. Totally recommended for transit or early flights in GIG airport.

during the included breakfast the lady asked us to pay 2 usd for a cup of coffee. we had tree cups but she was very insistent that we pay for one? also the receptionist on such a international location barley or not at all speak English? the window in the room was broken from OUTSIDE and impossible to close. the bed and pillows had under the sheets a plastic cover like in hospitals. on the up side it is just 5 min from the airport and the shuttle drives every 20 min / 24 / 7 .

The hotel needs better cleaning service. We had to rooms. In one of them, we saw a warm. In the other one, the bed sheets were dirty and there was an opened bag of chips. It was the first hotel I ever stayed that had no small towels. Don't you wash and rinse your hands after going to the bathroom?? Wouldn't recommend at all because of these cleaning issues

The hotel was okay, near the airport, It was a simple hotel and easy check-in and check-out. The room was tidy but had a bad smell not sure what was it. The curtain on the window could not be moved.

Perfect place to stay when the filght leaves early morning. It has a shuttle bus to reach the airport 5 minutes away.

It was ok, I was only staying there because I had a late in night flight which was anomalous but overall comfortable with amenities and at least bar and restauran available. it was a good option for my needs

All the outlets are 220v and the hotel does not provide adapters and transformers. Wife couldn’t do her hair! Food, location and staff are very good!!

The place has potential... Still needs to work on a few minor details, such as cleanliness and tech perks that don't work properly... Don't accept staying at room 102, it's window view are depressing, it is noise due to construction work being done nextdoor and it feels really claustrophobic.

Stayed here the night before I flew out of Rio early in the morning. The hotel is located close to international Galeão (GIG) and operates (free) bus transfer to the terminal 24/7. Rooms were convenient, spacious, clean and comfortable. Hair dryer available. Staff fluent in English. They also operate a restaurant, breakfast was good. Convenient choice if you flight out in the morning.

The staff is amazing, friendly and professional. The restaurant food was very good and the people working there very nice. Overall the hotel is very good. Recommendation would be to make the entrance safe and the same with elevators. Make with key entrance after specific hours and elevators only stop the floor where the key says is your apartment. Other than that I really enjoy staying here. Thank you

As positive, the hotel is very well located for whom needs to resolve logistic issues related to Galeão flights and has great shuttle service to/from the airport. The main lobby is also very nice. The rooms are ok, clean and decent size. TV was very small, even though I don't care much about that. Breakfast was ok, level 2 or 3 stars in Brazil. A few types of fruits, conventional coffee, tea, etc. Two types of cheap cheese. Bread and other pastries are just industrialized poor quality cheap items. Cheesebread was awful. Breakfast area is very spacious, however the cleaning of tables was very slow - I arrived just after 6 am and almost all tables had not been cleaned/cleared yet (as you an see in my pics). It took more than 20 mins for someone to clear the tables. Finally their fare is that of 4-stars hotels, but overall I would rate it as 3 stars.

The hotel was great! We were very happy with our room. We asked for sheets for our pillows and for towels and within minutes they arrived at our room. The staff was very friendly. The food at the restaurant is good. Unfortunately, we could not order it online but we could take it up to our room. The breakfast was fine. There are a lot of options to choose from. Although, there are no milk alternatives such as soya milk. The quality of the food was okay. However, the fruits were great!

Our stay at the Linx Galeão hotel was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located right by the Rio GIG international airport. The hospitality of the employees was on point, they are friendly and a few of them know a bit of English to give you information and answer questions. It is way out of the main downtown Rio so plan traveling out and back before rush hours, as traffic does build up on that highway. Rio is a dense city so it makes sense. The amenities are all easily enjoyed at the entrance and the second floor for the pool and bar during the day. The rooms are very spacious, and although not in any perfect viewing location, it makes up for in having a comfortable bed and seating and desk table space. They have a restaurant that stands in for the morning breakfast location (free if you're booked with the hotel), and it has lunch hours and dinner hours. We liked having dinner there and they have good local specialties or common US foods for your preference. Their breakfast options were simple and very tasty. Brazilian breakfast is not continental but a very consistent scrambled egg, hot-dog like sausage in a red sauce (not spicy), or a chopped kielbasa sausage… anyway discover it for yourself, the options are tasty and filling. We ate at the restaurant in the Linx hotel for dinner twice. And the staff in the restaurant Andrea, Laysa and Manuela. All phenomenal, pleasant people. All food is priced very well and the portions are way more than enough. The location is the selling point, and the free shuttle to the GIG airport is a great perk. We were at ease that when our last day in Rio came, after we got to the hotel from our last excursion, could quickly grab our belongings and grab the shuttle to fly out and catch it. Definitely recommend the Linx for your future stay in Rio!

If you need to get a flight the day after. This hotel is just 5min with free shuttle to GIG airport. The room is very modern, comfortable, very clean, fairly equipped with tv, ac, shower etc the staff is very polite and friendly. There’s a little corner for snacks (during the night) but also a restaurant till 10pm for a proper Brazilian meal.

The rooms could be a little bit more clean and with decoration. The black curtains are in a parts damaged or without function. But in all, we have been really satisfied! We will book this hotel again! Obrigado! ;-) Best hotel near the airport!

The property is in a great place for those who are traveling. The room is quite comfortable with enough space for 2 people. The swimming pool is beautiful and a nice option for chilling. Staff are really helpful. Mercato can be improved with more options to eat and drink and it would be good to have the minibar opened. Overall, my experience was great. I totally recommend this place.

Great team! I had a very good reception when I arrived at midnight! Also, very pleased with their quick help and solution when I my forgot my luggage! The bed was a cloud, Tv , air conditioner, everything working fine. The breakfast was also very good: pão de queijo( Brazilian cheese bread) , many fruits, cheeses, ham, morning cereal, different kind of breads, eggs, sausages, great black coffee , tea, orange juice and milk, my kids enjoyed and that doesn’t happen often. Van service is the best feature and the drivers are always a joy to chat with. The onIy downside was the pool that was empty when we stayed. We will be back!

We had a very pleasant stay and the majority of the staff is friendly and helpful. We had privacy and were able to both work and relax in the hotel. The lobby is incredibly comfortable and the internet connection was reliable. The price of food is a bit high considering the limited options, but, although quite simple, most of the dishes were very tasty.

The staff was great, the service and facilities beautiful. Perfect for a day before taking a flight.The restaurant offer in the evening was also satisfying. However, the breakfast is awful. The breakfast staff was careless and served food is not optimal conditions, the direction should do something about it. The breakfast would have ruined my stay if it wasn't because all the rest was marvellous.

Stayed here after arriving in Rio at 1 am. Friendly, multilingual staff. The rooms are basix but comfortable. The highlight was the huge warm pool. Absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice, clean and friendly hotel. The food menu is limited but the food and service is excellent. It is only 4 minutes from gig airport. With a free shuttle bus every 20minutes. The only downside is there is nothing else near the hotel. But perfect for if your flights.

I arrived after long and difficult day at 2 am , Karina was at the front desk I spoke to her over the phone when I landed and she was kind , knowledgeable, helpful and spoke perfect English. With the arrival to the hotel she great us and was super pleasant and helpful as we came starving and didn’t find anything open, very attentive and super great! The room is ok not bad the shower is a bit small but overall very good experience!

Easy access to the airport with a free shuttle. Functional facilities but everything is a bit tired and needs updating. The pool was empty each time. Food is good but the menu is limited. Bar area very plain and not very welcoming. Staff are attentive and helpful.

Great hotel for short stays! Especially it is so close to the airport and they have a shuttle van 24 hours to Galeão airport! The only think that I am not happy is not allowed to bring pets! I’m moving to Canada next month with my cat and I need to look for another hotel! My flight is so early in the morning, so staying at Linx would be perfect!

The hotel is okay, but expensive for the price. Not easy to reach without a car. The room and the bathroom were clean. The breakfast was good, with a lot of variety. The major problem was the minibar inside the room: it was noisy (super noisy) at night, we had to unplug it from the wall and it was not a easy task. The staff also were not super happy with our complaint about the mini bar, according to them: “this is normal and all hotels have the same problem”. I must disagree since I never had this before in any hotel around the wold.

Nice but basic hotel, staff are excellent and friendly. Limited menu in the restaurant but food is very good and service excellent. The shuttle buses are great, every 20 minutes, however I wish they would switch off their engine when waiting outside, noisy and polluting.

Most convenient hotel near the airport, with a shuttle bus . Rooms are clean and quiet, breakfast start early in the morning (a lot of airline crews), helpful people at the desk.

Claim to offer a free airport shuttle but they never replied to my messages requesting one! We had to pay for an overpriced taxi to reach the hotel as we had no other option. Got a room upgrade but didn't look any better than what I had booked and the blackout blinds were partially broken. AC was noisy. Only positives were the staff were friendly and the breakfast was acceptable.

I chose this hotel as it was the closest to the Airport and was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is nicely decorated and the staff were very helpful, they also spoke Spanish / English which was not common during our stays at other hotels. The room was nice, nothing special, however, the room did has a smell of body odor which was solved by opening up the windows. The room also had a nice TV, however, Netflix would not work due to the way their internet is setup, not a big deal but for a hotel near the airport where most people are hanging out in their rooms it would be nice for that to work. The bathroom, specifically the shower was terrible. The shower head was clogged or something because it was more like a hose than a shower, if I was staying more than 1 night I would have complained but it was fine for one night. Overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place close to the Airport. It was clean, well maintained, and very close to the airport. All you can ask :)

This is a 3-star hotel. Could be a 4-star but currently status is only good for a 3-star. Lots of pilots/flight attendants stay here. Exterior of hotel does not look like it does online. Thought we were at wrong hotel because exterior building not clean. Flight information in lobby and on TV in rooms very helpful. Food at restaurant and drinks at bar were very good. Pool is okay but view from pool is a parking lot and not good (just trees). Weren't enough towels at pool, asked attendant to bring more and theyjust took away the sign/container. Had to use the bathroom towels for the pool and ask desk for more later. Electrical in the bathroom only works with the air-dryer or something plugged into the socket. Not both at same time. Called maintenance and it could not be resolved. This needs to be further investigated. Shuttle ride service to the airport very helpful.

The location of the hotel is great for anyone who needs to be at the airport early morning. The 24h airport shuttle and the early breakfast are very convenient for travelers too. The accommodations are adequate and I would recommend them to anyone.

Between the mishap with me not being in the system to the very uncomfortable bed/pillows to the room being pitch black and a suana when I entered definitely turned me away from wanting to book again. The only things that were a savings grace was location and staff.
