As long as your only booking this for a layover or the night before a flight then highly recommend. The hotel itself is not easy to find. Its in the old terminal 1 of the airport. You need to enter at zone F and take the lift up to the third floor. You will then walk for what seems ages until you come to the hotel. The rooms have no windows but they are clean, hot showers and comfy beds. The breakfast is alright as well .

Old, smells odd, run down and Tatty. I there was stains on the bedding and hairs that were not mine. Also hairs found in the bathroom. Very very basic, I most certainly will not stay there again. It is in terminal 1 and that is like an abandoned terminal left to fall apart. But for some reason they kept the hotel open. Which hasn't been maintained or cleaned since 1970. Most certainly not the best welcome to Brazil.

Absolutely unbelievable. Outside of the mold everywhere, the old rooms, the dirty water, the terrible mattresses, I had one special surprise: after laying down on my bed, there was a piece of toilet paper dirty with fecal matter on the bed. Just abhorrent. (Pro: service was fast to replace the bed sheets. Is that really a pro though?). Rio de Janeiro has several well located and fair priced hotels, there is absolutely no need to stay on this.. thing.

Nice people and free breakfast. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. However, the breakfast buffet area is very, very small with poor ventilation. Also, since it's located in an abandoned airport terminal, it is extremely CREEPY...so yeaaa..not ideal for a romantic getaway. If you want to walk to terminal two, it's like a 15 minute walk!

It's not at the working airport terminal. The building next door (about a mile away) uses a shuttle to take you to and from the airport. Rooms are clean, but very dated, old linens and such. Service is strict, no visitors allowed for more than half an hour. I could stay at another hotel nearby for less. Overall quiet place (there's nobody else at that building, but hotel staff and guests, the airport is empty).

Not worth the price you pay for but better than spending the night sitting at the airport. 👍 - It’s at the airport - Breakfast was free and good 👎 - Expensive for the value you get - Very slow and unstable WIFI - Bed was not completely clean - The bathroom had a bad smell - No Windows in the room - You could hear everything that was going on outside the room - When you check-in, they don’t give info about the conditions of your stay (the food, minibar, etc). You must ask for everything or you’ll end up with unexpected charges

Typical Airport Hotel, rooms with no windows, but they are what they are. Ideal for avoiding any opportunity to miss a flight due to Rio traffic

We enjoyed our stay. a little hard to find. Worth it with an early flight out. Restaurant had a great cheeseburger!

Stuff wasn't very nice just because I wasn't aware I was going to be charged for the things being used in the room😒 usually these things are free to use but they forced me into paying for it and didn't make sure I was aware of the cost before the room was paid and booked, had a hard time opening the door😩 tv is pointless bc you can't even watch it🤦‍♀️😒

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Only do it for work on multiple times unfortunately. Food is poor and the location from the only used terminal is miles away. Rooms must be 40 years old. Staff are fine

Have been here many times over the years. The rooms do not have windows, but everything else is as you would expect. It is much less busy than before the flights moved to Terminal2. There is a shuttle, but my feet work fine. Room did not have chairs at desk.

Shocking time here. Somehow they managed to charge us 120 BRL for 3 bags of chips without showing any charge rates for snacks in the room. Absolute money grab. Poor performance.

Far away from hustling Rio De Janeiro city. Calm and sound area. Good for transit stay. Offer good food only and no other services.

I can not say enough I am with this establishment Everyone has been So kind and so accommodating it's beyond belief. Many of the people who work here speak good English from the restaurant staff to the front desk ! I can tell you that 1 gentleman in particular has taken care of me like he's known me my whole life at a time when I really needed help. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at this well run and well maintained establishment. I will never forget this place.

Booked a room here due to an overnight flight delay. It is located in Terminal 1 of the GIG Rio international airport, so very convenient. Accommodations are utilitarian, but clean, with wifi and hot showers (definitely great after a longer than expected travel day). There is also a restaurant connected to the hotel with a small menu for dinner. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, even though I speak zero portuguese.

I would not advice booking this hotel except if you have no choice. This place is gloomy, not easy to find from the terminals, the air inside is heavy and on the top of it there are no windows… not the best way to start/end a travel in this lovely country that is Brazil.

Right inside the Rio international Airport, so perfect location for layover, copact room for personal as well as for family so alll limited but it's ok for layover and all. To fly back home or work. Overall staff and all nice and coperative.

Please avoid this hotel!!! A star rating is too much! The air inside is heavy, no windows, wifi with Internet on dial-up era ( I was invited to stay in the lobby if I want to see Netflix), the air codition that basically recirculate the same heavy smell , have an industrial controller with a switch and is so noisy that basically you cannot sleep. The beds are worn , mine was "floating" giving the impression I will fall at any moment. Expensive for an abandoned airport terminal. A very nasty and ugly visiting card for Rio de Janeiro. Avoid if you are not ready for an unplesant experience!!!

Nice staff but room a bit old and floor not welll cleaned. Still good for a sleep between flights but not if you arrive in terminal 2. i had to do a long walk to change terminals since i came from terminal 2.

The hotel was far from terminal 2 and the room was far from the reception. I wish the breakfast could start at 5am since a lot of people have early flights. Overall good hotel: fancy and clean. The rooms and the toilets were excellent.

No windows. This is good as a day room if you have a long time before departure.

I would give a 2 star for personal reasons. Number one you cant smoke. There is no smoking room. Number two room didnt had a window and its 5 min walking g to my room. Number three there is nothing around that hotel. You will walk about 15 mile ute to get to terminal 2. And lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Never again
