Stopped on a whim while driving through Missouri back to Michigan. This place was so cool! Way bigger than I expected. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went during the off season so the three of us had a "private" tour which was cool. Gift shop had nice options for someone like me who loves rocks and random crystals and fossils. Definitely worth stopping if you're in the area!

Best time ever! Me and my kids loved it! 90% of cave is handicap accessible. That last 10% of cave is up step stairs, but there is a place to sit for people who can't venture onward. Our guide was the best thing about the tour! He knew so much and had been there doing cave tours for 40 years!

We almost didn't go because of a bad experience at Fantastic Caverns, but I now recommend Stark Cavern to everyone!!! As with most tours it is all about the tour guide and Paula was WONDERFUL, FUNNY, and KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! Our infant loved the cave and was able to stay in her stroller 85% of the time. The section I carried her up the steep and slick stairs was doable with some effort. My wife loved seeing the bats, frogs, crawfish, and salamanders! Do not skip this one!

Just off the highway about a mile. The store is well stocked and clean. There is a deck around it with tons of wooden rocking chairs. The tour was great with a knowledgeable guide leading the way. The tour took about an hour and was a pretty good walk with stairs in some areas. You don't need to be an athlete, but it might be difficult if you have mobility issues. Great location and staff.

We loved our tour! It took around an hour. We had one person on crutches and they were able to do most of the cavern tour with us. Our tour guide (Paula) was was entertaining and knowledgeable. She kept the adults and little ones engaged. Highly recommend!!

We were visiting from California and looking for things to do. If you have children that love exploring this is a great place. It's very educational and they get to see and get to learn about the way the cave was formed and how some kiddos hide in the cave. We did the dark tour! So fun, but cold so wear a warm jacket.

This tour was so cool. Guide was super well informed and passionate. Lighting in the cave was really well done to enhance the viewing of the true magnificence of this place. Even my two teenagers were fascinated!

Lee was such a great tour guide! He had a great sense of humor, he was very knowledgeable and made sure to make everyone feel included by having the group move so everyone could see what he was describing. It's a must for sure!

My tour guide was Paula and she was so incredible! She was inviting, super knowledgeable and made the entire experience amazing. This will definitely be a place that I come back to on my next trip to the Ozarks.

What a fantastic experience! Karen our guide and very informative and personable making our tour so much fun! We have been to many natural caverns over the years and truthfully it takes something special to set them apart from one another. Stark Cavers is a step above because of the super friendly people making this a fun AND educational experience!

We needed something to do on some down time on our trip. This place was perfect! Our tour group ended up being smaller, which was really nice. Our guide was great, funny and very knowledgeable about the caves history. We had a lot of fun in the gift shop, cracking open Geode's and Sluice Mining.

My family and I had a great time at the caverns. Our guide, Lee, was really knowledgeable and our kids really liked him. Also, the location was very pretty! We definitely recommend this place and we plan on going back our next visit to the Lake.

Great cave! Interesting formations and pretty lighting. Easy to walk through, though a few places had you needing to duck or hunch if you're tall. Lee was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable and answered any questions. We got to travel through all levels of the caves, and Lee had a great eye, pointing out a lone frog or bat as we went. The tour had some great groan-worthy humor too. Really fun and interesting tour!

We were very impressed by these caverns. Our tour guide was Elle, she did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy her job. I would recommend you call and set up a tour time and request Elle as your guild. Jamie is super knowledgeable about the grounds and the trails. He took the extra time and showed me the trails and answered all my questions. They have 2 trails (as of right now), they are both good trails. You should check this whole place out. All the staff we encountered were very nice.

Stark Caverns was super fun! Our tour guide was very nice and we learned a lot about the caves and the history behind them! Amazing hour long tour and we were told they do black light tours as well. Had a nice gift shop as well.

Great time!! Our guide Gabriel was very informative, kind and engaging. He made the tour fun! (That is coming from the kids). Gift shop had an array of items. We can't wait to go back.

Our tour guide Katie was extremely funny and very informative. She knew tons of little facts and details about the cave that the regular tour doesn’t give and had tons of quirky and funny jokes to add with it. Our experience was made even better with the beautiful scenery and awesome lighting throughout the cave. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something to do while in the area because it was such a blast and very interesting.
