This has got to be one of the worst Chinese places I’ve ever ate honestly it tasted really bad The fried rice doesn’t even have anything in it there’s barely any flavor and the chicken was tuff as it can but the only good thing about it it was really hot but it tasted like it was reheated and was sitting there for a while it doesn’t even deserve a 2 but I honestly give it 1.5

Physical contamination. Just bit into 2 small black rocks in my order of General. Immediately called restaurant. Had to repeatedly ask to speak to owner myself after the worker kept relaying information between the two of us. No solution other than me bringing the food back to them was offered. NO APOLOGY. They refused to send a delivery driver. They would not take my information over the phone when I told them I needed to make a dental appointment to check to see if a tooth had been chipped or cracked. Once back at the restaurant the owner says he found more rocks in the dried red pepper flakes. HE DIDN'T SEEM SURPRISED. Appears they are willing to use unsafe food suppliers in order to cut costs. The red pepper flakes are only there because they cut corners and eliminated the full chilis from their original recipe!

We've been getting take out from here for years, always liked it. This is the second or third time it sucked, and I'm done! Chicken so dry and hard you can barely eat it. It's Monday and they aren't open on Sunday so I guess this is Saturdays leftover food. If I wanted Leftovers I would have raided the fridge at home! and it would have been better. I do not recommend this place.

Every time I'm in the area, I start craving cashew chicken from Orient Express. I like that they use all white meat chicken. And their sauce is awesome! Really friendly folks there who will ask you about your day, in between answering calls and taking orders. The building exterior has a koi pond mural that makes me super happy, too.

I have been wanting Chinese for awhile now and decided to try this place. WOW, what a disappointment! First, an order of cashew chicken and crab rangoon cost $17.95. I did like how The chicken came separate from the sauce. Typically cashew chicken has green onions and cashews, this only had cashews. The chicken was like jerky, dried out, tough, not edible. The "crab" rangoon was a runny, nasty, cream cheese filled thing. No crab was found after dissecting two of them. Just a runny mess. Will certainly not be back here.

Are used to love going here with my family. We would get takeout at least once every two weeks when I lived here eight years ago. Their fried chicken is still about the same and pretty tasty but a little under seasoned. The cashew sauce was incredibly salty, however. I got the Kung pow chicken for the first time and the chili‘s hadn’t even been cooked in the sauce (sauce was not spicy, peppers were very spicy), the veggies were undercooked, and there was very little protein compared to the fried chicken dishes. Crab Rangoons are still top notch though! Felt like posting a review because this place is near and dear to my heart but I was a little disappointed in this last visit. I’ll definitely come back and get my staple orange/general chicken next time.

99.99% of the time the food is hot and freshly served are usually do contactless visit and I’ve only been in the store one time which is a very clean environment. All the one time I got my food that was between lukewarm and warm and you can trust that that manage it was more than kind and she made that right the prices are very reasonable and the people are always exceptionally kind. They are really business oriented people for the every day life I’m most.

I really like the potstickers, and their sweet and sour chicken is very good. The food is cooked perfectly and not soggy like you sometimes get with other takeout places.

Its a great place for quick takeout. Their dinners get a bit pricey, but you get a decent amount of food! And the staff is always so friendly! Definitely recommend!

So disappointed with the flavor AND price. We only ordered here because CHINA WOK was closed. At least they have flavor! I remember why I stopped going to orient express. Unforgivable! UPDATE: Their “crab rangoons” are NOT EVEN CRAB?

I have literally never had a problem here, they always get my order right they always have good food I saw a guy on here saying that it tastes like soy literally never had anything like that, the fried rice only tastes like soy if you put soy sauce in it hands down best Chinese in the 4 states

  • 1/5 JG 1 year ago on Google
If you like the taste of Soy this is the place for you!! Fried rice is literally white rice covered in soy, Lo mien is exactly the same taste, no additional flavors here! -portions are odd, the sesame chicken came in a big portion but had to barrow rice for the small portion Nothing about this place tastes like a Chinese restaurant Would NOT recommend, unless you just want to taste Soy.. then I’d just recommend buying soy to save money

Very poor, rice was under cooked and sesame chicken was hard with raw batter inside, no flavor at all, chicken seemed old and precooked. Like they don't know how to cook? They are friendly but very concerned about getting paid and wanting tips? No one is concerned about the food?

I work at a local Grocery store & the other day earlier In the week the owner of Orient Express came in & was extremely rude & belittled one of my fellow co workers. He attempted to involve several other customers in the situation. He was very unprofessional & wouldn’t listen to any reason. My family & I have been coming to Orient Express for a very long time, however because of his behavior & how he treated someone that works in the device industry we will no longer be supporting his business. His blatant disregard to someone that’s just doing their job was 100% uncalled for. I wasn’t involved personally, but I witnessed it.

The cashew chicken was dry fried chicken pieces with delicious cashews and you can pour the sauce on yourself. This was my first time getting cashew chicken. The sauce was basically salty brown gravy. The rice was fragrant and filling. The egg rolls were fresh and crunchy. Altogether not bad but not really my cup of tea/gravy.

I have eaten at this Orient-Express a few times here and there never really had a complaint the order I received today absolutely disgusting. The rice is very pasty and gummy. The chicken is I don’t even know how to describe it. Some parts of the chicken are so dry that I can’t even chew, the sesame sauce seems a little overcooked? Crab Rangoons were at least somewhat ok A total disappointment and not normally how my food from there has been or I never would have wasted a $20

A friend recommended them to me. Service is friendly. Food is restaurant quality. The crab Rangoon is the best I've ever eaten!!

Ordered the cashew chicken lunch and egg drop soup. Rice was undercooked, chicken was like jerky, sauce was thick as pudding, soup tasted like it was just chicken broth, crunchies for the soup we're stale, the Rangoon was as sweet as a dessert. The egg roll was nice at least. Don't think I'll be ordering ever again.

I mean it was okay but it cost $20 to just feed myself.. smallest portions ever. Rice was under cooked and they didn’t give me any utensils
