We ordered food for take out for 4 of us to have a small dinner party. The food was ready on time, but when our friends got here with the food, we realized they had given us 2 of the same dish and forgotten the one that I ordered. And since I'm both gluten free and vegetarian, I couldn't eat the option they sent 2 of instead. Needless to say, I was very disappointed... and hungry. So I called them and let them know what was going on. The woman who answered told me they would call me back shortly after she spoke with the manager. He called back and offered to either remake the dish or refund it. I asked for it to be remade, because I still wanted to eat something. Since we were having friends over for dinner, it was difficult for one of us to leave to go back and pick up the missing food. So he offered to bring it over, along with a dessert, which was not something we had paid for and unexpected. He showed up within 30 minutes and apologized for the discrepancy. The food was hot and absolutely wonderful. I've never had rice pudding before and it was fantastic! Everyone makes mistakes, but finding a restaurant that actually goes above and beyond to fix it, and has awesome food, is akin to finding a diamond in the rough. This place will be our go to for Indian fare from now on. Kudos to you guys for your stellar food, service and prices!

Wow. In a city with so much great Indian food options, this place manages to stand out and blow my mind. Came here with my Indian boyfriend and his grandparents today and everyone was impressed. Can’t praise this place enough. Best biriyani I’ve ever had! Edwin also provided excellent service :)

I went to Lime & Lemon because it has the highest Google rating of any Indian restaurant I can walk to. I’m glad I did. I was not disappointed. The food, service, and atmosphere are all great. It’s moderately spendy but the portions are huge. You can easily share an app and an entree with someone and still have leftovers. Which is what I did on my last visit. App, Entree, and Garlic Naan with an iced tea and a mango smoothie came to under $50. For two people that’s pretty good. Bottom line, great food go get some.

My family and I had dinner here for my husband’s birthday. The interior of lime & lemon is clean and has a very modern vibe. Lots of windows and natural light as well. The menu is quite extensive and has so many options that it was hard to chose. I settled on the mango lime chicken, which was amazing. My parents each opted for fish curries and my husband had goat, which was seasoned perfectly. The staff was really friendly and attentive and we received our food and drinks fast. Special shout out to Edwin, who was very helpful in explaining/suggesting several menu items. We will definitely be back.

Ate here for the first time last night and had such a great experience. Me and my friend ordered two appetizers, which were both amazing. Edwin was my server, he recommended a dish for my main course that I had never had and told me if I ordered it and didn’t like it he’d bring me a new dish for free. He was seriously great. The food came out so fast and his recommendation was so delicious!! I will definitely be returning and taking more recommendations from the staff. They put a cute heart on my Mango Lime Chicken :)

If you want to have an experience and not only eat you should definitely try this place! We had amazing appetizers, main dishes, and deserts. The staffs were all amazing, happy, and caring. Nick was so caring and offered some cooling sauce to be served with my moderate spicy food:) Just remember their moderate is spicy😁They also had a slogan which we found it funny: east and west, lime and lemon is the best:)

I recently dined at Lime and Lemon Restaurant in Raleigh and had a mixed experience with the food. However, the exceptional service and pleasant ambience made up for it to some extent. Here's my detailed review: The Mango Lassi was delightful, with a good quantity and consistency. It was definitely worth the price. I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing taste and smooth texture of the lassi. The Mocktail Lime & Jal Jeera drink was a perfect blend of lime soda and cumin seed flavors. The mixture was well-balanced, creating a refreshing and unique beverage. It was a great choice for those looking for a non-alcoholic option. Moving on to the appetizers, we ordered the Knockout Chicken. Initially, it seemed a bit underseasoned, but once we added some salt to suit our taste, it turned out to be pretty good. The chicken was tender, and the flavors were satisfying after the adjustment. For the main course, we opted for the Karaikudi Chicken. Unfortunately, it wasn't as spicy as we expected, and it didn't exactly resemble an authentic Karaikudi chicken dish. It felt more like a home-style chicken preparation with a hint of Karaikudi masala. While it was enjoyable, it didn't meet our expectations in terms of authenticity. The Butter Naan, although tasty, felt overpriced for a single piece. Additionally, it was disappointing that there was no butter served with the butter naan. It would have enhanced the flavor and made it a more satisfying accompaniment to the main course. Despite the mixed reviews on the food, I would like to highlight the exceptional service we received throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and prompt in addressing our needs. They made us feel welcome and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the ambience of the restaurant is truly inviting. The interior decor and lighting create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal or special occasion. In conclusion, Lime and Lemon Restaurant in Raleigh offers a mixed dining experience. While the Mango Lassi and Mocktail Lime & Jal Jeera drink were enjoyable, some dishes like the Karaikudi Chicken lacked the expected level of spice and authenticity. The Butter Naan was tasty but overpriced for one piece, and there was no butter served with it. However, the exceptional service and inviting ambience add value to the overall dining experience. I would rate it 4 stars considering the positives mentioned above.

I've gotten takeout from here before, but we just recently went for a sit down birthday dinner for my brother whose fav food is Indian food. I love the atmosphere and modern decor and appreciate the cleanliness. I also think it's great they offer a full bar with a variety of drinks. The food was so delicious! Our server, Edwin, was super friendly and attentive. Thank you for the yummy meal and pleasant experience! We will definitely be back.

This place is a gem! Stopped In while visiting Raleigh, it’s the real deal. Our server Edwin was very kind and patient even helping us decide what to order. The service was fast despite it being a packed house. The food was absolutely amazing, great authentic Indian food. It’s always a good sign to walk in and see the local community supporting the restaurant. I recommend making reservations as it’s a very popular place. We will be back next visit.

We love this place!! Coming from England, I love to find the best Indian restaurants around here - this is definitely one of them! I have a tree nut allergy, so I do have to be careful with going out to eat sometimes. Our server, Edwin, recommended the Mango Lime Chicken to me and assured me they can make it nut free. He even said if I didn't like it, I could pick anything else from the menu and they'd make it. It was DELICIOUS! Really a great recommendation. A balance of sweetness and a medium level spice. A surprising new favorite for me. If you like butter chicken, venture out and try this dish as well. We got the knockout chicken appetizer (pictured) this time (nut free) in medium level spice and it was great. Definitely has a kick to it, but the green peppers give a hint of sweet. Overall always incredible service, the food is quick, and tasty. Don't forget to order a Kingfisher beer on draft!

This place is amazing. The service was excellent, with a well-communicating wait staff who checked in on us often and were very polite and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is a warm and toasty atmosphere with not too much lighting, a stretch of well-lit bar, and spacious tables against earthy tones. It's not too loud and makes for a great space for date night. Now, the food. The food here is delicious. I wish I'd thought to take pictures before we dove in, but it was so good, you can barely resist it when it hits the table. Everything feels like it's made with care on top of fresh ingredients and herbs. The flavor profiles are warm, savory, spicy, and decadent. The heat in most dishes, which we ordered most of our food on a 2 of 5 spice scale, is slow building but very present. It doesn't necessarily pop you in the mouth, but it fills your chest and will have your eyes trying to water and your nose trying to run. The secret to curing your common cold, I genuinely believe, is good Indian cuisine. The naan was flaky and buttery and delicious. The crust and shell of the samosas were melt in your mouth and crumbly but durable enough to carry curried chickpeas and sauces. There's not a bad thing we tried. All the meats, from chicken to lamb, were tender and juicy. The herbs in each dish looked fresh plucked and tasted as such. A fantastic place, I'll definitely be returning and probably with friends.

Chur chur, butter and spicy naan were great. Did a lamb special and it came with a carrot dessert. Take a peak at that dessert, it'll surprise you. Had paneer for the first time. It reminded us of a Turkish grilling cheese more than tofu but the flavor and texture were excellent. Clean bathrooms and the dining decor is tasteful with the green and yellow

When I tell you don't walk run to Lime & Lemons I tell no lies. We are not NC natives just traveling for vacation but this restaurant is on my top list for best Indian cuisine. We went for dinner and from the service, to the drinks, and food presentation to overall taste everything was excellent . We ordered bombay shrimp biryani, two berry cocktails (special recommended by waiter) , Indian sweet mule, shrimp tikka masala, garlic naan, vegetable samosa (no pic because we devoured them on sight) and received complimentary gulab juman. The food and drinks had so much flavor and a true taste of fresh fruit, herbs, and spices . The cute details added to the drinks and ambiance and decor of the restaurant was so nice . Aliston and Kavin were awesome 5 star service !

This may be the best Indian restaurant in the Raleigh area. The food is great, and the ambience and service are decent. I absolutely loved the cutlet chat and highly recommend it. We also liked the knockout chicken appetizer for which we'd opted for a spice level of 4 out of 5, that turned out to be quite spicy, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. We also had a Rupee beer which was good, and a passionfruit cocktail which was okay but not bad. My husband also got a goat biryani togo which he really liked. The only downside is that they're pretty busy even on a weekday evening so we had to wait a long time for the biryani to be ready. Will definitely come back.

This is our first time visiting, and We had a great evening here. We sat by bar area. We asked to surprise us for cocktails directly to the bartender. He gave us his specials. They were really tasty. He was very polite, and conversations went really well. We ordered a Tandoori mixed grill platter and seeraga samba goat biryani. Both were amazing. Spices in the Tandoori dish were perfect. Even the rice in the biryani has so much flavor. We were very much satisfied with this restaurant and our server/ bartender. The ambiance was really great, too.
