Overall experience was fantastic. Finding this restaurant was very easy on Google maps, it is in a nice shopping center with plenty of other stores and lots of parking out front. Once inside we were greeted by the friendly wait staff and brought to our booth. There are plenty of tables and booths inside as well as some seating for outdoor dining. The booth/table was clean as well as the area around us. The menu is an all American menu with your typical appetizers, salads, burgers, etc. One of their specials is bison which can be subbed for regular beef patties on many of the items on the menu. I myself ordered the bison burger with a fried egg, bacon, raspberry jam, etc. It was quite good, but the side order of parmesan broccoli was not the best side to get. I also ordered a Buffalo 41 drink(I think that's what it was called) and it was fantastic, I would drink a fishbowl of it if they ever made one! Overall I would absolutely come back to this local spot for another meal whenever I am back down in the area.

We dined on a busy Saturday night and were seated at the bar as we did not want to wait the 30 minutes for a table. The woman at the front as well as the waitstaff attending to their tables were very friendly and were definitely rushing to keep up with the demand. The bartenders paid more attention to the regular customers, which was a bit disappointing but luckily they had enough staff to makeup for it. The food was fairly priced and was tasty. A limited cocktail menu but the bartender did look up a few drinks on google to make for us. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, and the sides were flavorful and a good portion. The only thing that ruined this night was the manager, which is why this is a two star review. I understand the pressure of a busy Saturday night, I understand what the pandemic has done to dining experiences, what I do not understand is the need to be rude and condescending to your staff in front of your guests. He was rude and arrogant to the woman who was running the front check-in and, as no one was greeting guests while that was happening, another woman came to seat people which was absolutely the wrong thing to do. It was embarrassing to sit there and watch that happen and should not have happened where the public could see it. It ruined the experience for us and I would not bring my money back in the future.

I really enjoyed this place. As a table starter, they put a bowl of sliced seasoned cucumbers. I greatly preferred that over bread! I ordered the Green and Hot bison burger with salt and pepper onion rings as a side. I also ordered a wedge salad as a starter. The server asked if I wanted a sauce. They had a lot of options, but I elected for the horseradish sauce as I hadn't had that before. The wedge salad was generous. Lots of lettuce, and plenty of blue cheese, bacon, and toppings. The bison burger was very tasty. I could really taste the bison. The onion rings were big, but a bit of a letdown. I dipped them in the horseradish sauce to add flavor, but that was a bit overpowering. Maybe mustard would have been better. On their own they were... meh. The server was very attentive and helpful. I enjoyed watching the action in the kitchen while I waited. I believe the menu pricing was fair. I left full and happy. I would happily recommend this place.

Not impressed at all. Came for dinner with my family. The place is very dark, and freezing cold to the point that it was uncomfortable. I asked the server if she can do something about the temperature and she said she'll ask. But nothing changed. Food: house salad and pickles were good. My burger arrived COLD so disappointing because the flavor was good. Had baked potato and broccoli that had woody stems inedible. Not planing to go back.

If you want super drinks in a nice atmosphere, then Ted's it is. But. Sometimes, you just want a good burger. And crispy fries. Today I got neither. Gonna take the fries home & try to crisp em up in the air fryer. The burgers (beef & bison) were just basic. Simple tasting. Simple looking. Just simple. The one thing I've always been able to count on... good pickles & service. Today's server tried. These pickles, didn't. Considering the increase in locations for adults to pop in during the day during the week, I'd expect everyone to step it up. Or at least, be consistent.

We decided to visit this establishment last night. I have been wanting to try for a while so I was excited. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet. The waitress was nice and did everything that was asked. The only bad part was the food. My boyfriend ordered the short ribs and they were good. His carrots were not cooked. I ordered the salmon and it was not seasoned at all. And my broccoli was also not cooked. It was hard and I was unable to eat it. We ordered the crab cake for the appetizer and it was also not seasoned. Very bland. For that reason we will not be back to this establishment. A little salt goes a long way in my opinion. The food we received was also not worth the price. We paid $100 for bland and uncooked food.

This was our first stop on our vacation and what a great way to kick it off! I had the bison meatloaf and my husband had Ted's bison bacon cheeseburger. I had the onion rings with the horse radish sauce on the side. Wonderful!!!!!! My husband had the fresh cup fries with his. They were good as well. Wonderful waitress!

Actually Incredible! If you're a foodie like me you've got to try their burgers! They are perfectly seasoned, and the thickest, most jucy burgers! Both the bison and beef are stellar! The onion rings and horseradish sauce are next level! Great atmosphere and friendly service!

First time visit today and my dad and I enjoyed it! More expensive than we wanted to pay for lunch but wanted to try the bison burgers. The onion rings are a MUST! Also loved you get half sour pickles while you wait for your food. Food and service was good. Would recommend to try it to others!

Tables are so packed in it's oddly uncomfortable. I also had flies in my food which is just unacceptable. Between the prep chef, the chef and the runner this should never happen. Washing and prepping food properly is key for a restaurant! Although the waitress was very nice and attentive and the manager did try to make up for it I would never go back here to eat again.

This is a yearly experience for my husband's birthday. It began because we couldn't get bison steaks where we live. Now that we can, it's really just tradition. The steaks are always cooked exactly as we order them, and the sides are plentiful. The salt-brined cucumbers they serve the table are refreshing and a nice change from bread. I've been disappointed the last few visits because they seem to have taken the prime rib off their menu. The staff is friendly, and they WILL try to sell you up to bison if you choose beef. All in all, it's a good dining experience, and we will likely continue our tradition.

A must try are the Bison Ribs. Update 7 months later. My girl and I have been to this location twice. We have also been yo the location in Atlanta GA. Both locations have a similar atmosphere. My girl made reservations for 4 at 7:30 pm on a Saturday. We arrived early around 7:23 just in case it would help seat us earlier. We actually got seated at a table around 7:45. We did not make a deal about it since we saw the place was busy. We placed our order in for appetizers a few minutes after sitting down. We received our appetizers after a substantial wait. We order onion rings and grilled shrimp. The appetizers were hot I must admit. We placed our entrée orders. At no surprise either the food came out late and cold. Everyone's dish was cold. We asked for our food to be heated up which the waiter did have the kitchen warm each plate. I decided to order the short ribs with mashed potatoes and asparagus to go. We did receive the meal fairly quick. However the mashed potatoes were not mashed at all. The following day I realized it when I went to reheat the meal. The potatoe was not cooked thoroughly. Over all a quick summary of a bad experience. Specially for the cost. I will not consider returning to this location.

We ordered Ted's filet cooked medium ( both arrived well done), carrots (they were basically raw) & potatoes (dried out & crusty). We didn't say too much as we were dining with friends. We have always enjoyed eating at Ted's over the years, but don't think we'll be back. We expected a nice meal for the price. Ted's needs to train their cooks to do a better job at least at the Durham NC location.

They were very attentive to out group of 20! It was my sister's 42nd birthday and we had 2 servers. For starters we had crab cakes and it was amazing! It also came with a side of delicious guacamole and kale salad with pieces of corn cut off the cob in it which was also delicious. My main course was grilled chicken with gravy on the side and garlic mashed potatoes. Now the downfall was the parmesan broccoli which could've had a little more flavor and cooked a tad more. My boyfriend's beef Delmonico steak(Bison) was one of the juicier meats I've had in a long time!! But overall I was satisfied!

Haven’t had Ted’s bison steak for maybe about 10yrs. I remember it to be very delicious. This time somehow wasn’t the same. We arrived 10mins early for our reservation and was seated right away. I thought the decor was nice and it’s a relaxing style. Nice size bar if grabbing a quick drink. Menu selection is perfect, not to much and overwhelming. The drink menu was also simple and my cocktail was spicy and refreshing. Location is in the beautiful Renaissance Center so it’s very easy to get to. Staff was very friendly. Our waitress Kai was absolutely sweet and on point with our meals. Service was quick. Prices for the food was worth it. I had the Bison Delmonico and it was very delicious. I usually eat my steak with A1 steak sauce out of habit but I didn’t need it! Kale salad was good but I felt it was missing something. My husband and I thought was overall good.

Bison steak, garlic mashed potatoes, buttered carrots. Cooked as requested. Flavored with butter and pepper seasoning. Carrots could of used more butter for the size of the wedge. Potatoes were mashed with a great seasoning of garlic. Presented colorful and enticing. Value was questionable until first bite. At that point I was happily invested into my meal.

Ryan has been our server for the past few times. He’s phenomenal. The food is always scrumptious. The only downside is how pricey some of the food is, but other than that this is one of my fave restaurants in the area.

Atmosphere was excellent. Wonderful for a dinner date or a family get together. Menu is outstanding with something for everyone. Drink menu was strong and the service was good. My bison meatloaf was excellent. My only negatives were the amount of time before our waiter greeted us as well as the potatoes weren't my cup of tea.

Our waiter Brendan was amazing!! We absolutely loved his energy, attentiveness and jovial attitude. The Caesar salad was delicious! One of the best that I’ve had in awhile. The onion rings needed a little seasoning. The mashed potatoes were good. The meatloaf was tasty. It was a little ketchup heavy for my liking, but very flavorful. The Apple crisp was very good. We only wished that it had some type of crust. I wasn’t completely in love with the granola-like toppings, but we would get it again. Next visit I’ll try the brisket.

Food was delicious. Everything was tasty I don't think our server wanted us to dine outdoors but they were very nice and professional about it.

This is my lemon drop after two sips. It was never up to where the residue is…that was after I swirled it around in surprise at the small amount. I actually asked the bartender if this was the full amount and was told it was “their recipe.” She did offer to add a shot for a charge. Any self-respecting steakhouse has a good healthy martini, at least to within a half-inch of the rim. It was surprising they wouldn’t just do it right after I asked about it. Oh well. They originally undercooked my steak and then over cooked it (by their own assessment) but they re-did one perfectly. The broccoli is so good. They took the steak off the bill, so props to them for their food service (just not the drink service).

Not from the area and have been trying to eat here for a few years. It’s always been super busy when we stopped by. Finally got to eat in the restaurant and I’m beyond thrilled and extremely pleased with my meal. The staff were warm welcoming. The food was delicious and hit the spot! Highly recommend anyone to check them out!
