The original in Raleigh is much better than this one. The food isn't presented as nicely. Their dessert selection isn't as numerous. The staff isn't as friendly. And you have to pay for street parking. When I was getting my food, the young woman was more interested in her phone than serving me.

Great location right in downtown with outside seating as well. I had the Chicken Kabob platter with pasta and salad. Loved it!

They apologized and gave me a full refund and was grateful how I reached out. I am grateful that they understood this challenge since I wouldn't want my team to struggle. I am changing my rating to 5 stars since it took a real company to care. Thank you. Thanks you for caring. This means an update of 5 stars. ______________ Walked in and more than half of my selection they were out of. Should have walked out. Attempted to find something else and more was out. Out of silverware, too. And.....picture says it all. The only way this can become a 5 star is to refund my $38.00 That is all I have to express. I'm extremely disappointed.

Decent Mediterranean. Good vegan options. Tasty and flavorful

It was not my intent to eat when I came here. I was simply going to accompany My coworkers for our monthly luncheon. But, they had keto offerings!! Aroma of the spices were so appetizing and the food looked so delicious that I decided to try. I had the cabbage salad and a chicken kabob (I wanted to just sample) I wish I had taken full advantage and ordered a full plate. The food was absolutely amazing. The service was quick and thev prices were very reasonable. I absolutely will be back. I rate this five-star easily!!!

We went walking a few blocks close to our hotel and decided to try this Mediterranean restaurant. They did not disappoint. For late evening time, they had a steady flow of customers with take out orders. Also, people sitting inside and at the outside patio eating area. They offer a wide selection of wraps, gyros, salads, and dinner items. Great prices, and you get your money's worth. Their desserts are irresistible! The young lady who assisted us was a breath of fresh air. She was pleasant, very helpful, and checked on us several times. The gentleman that prepared our food (chicken shawarma pita and lamb/chicken shawarma pita) was attentive to detail and great answering our questions while multitasking. They offer fountain drinks as well as a variety of other beverages! This was our first time here, and we will definitely return whenever we are in the area!!

The Neomonde plate is one of the best meals in downtown Durham! Everything is fresh and delicious.

Great food, excellent flavor, it might take a bit to get your food, but it is worth it.

Parking was the biggest issue. Able to park in a parking garage. Just don’t like that inconvenience especially when it is a cold day as a couple blocks to walk . Casual place. Order at counter and food delivered to table. Friendly staff. Food was fine. Soup was not as hot as I like, but good flavors. Coolness probably in part to lapse time of my ordering and then four others in our party doing afterwards. One person got wrong order and took a while to get it corrected. Falafel was the best that I have ever had. Others enjoyed their meals.

In town for a conference and this was the perfect lunch spot. Kebabs, spicy baba ghanoush falafel and more, also super affordable for what you get! Really solid.

Wonderful flavor. Very fresh and healthy food that is perfect to stop in on your lunch hour. I enjoyed also being able to use real cutlery and plates for dine-in rather than plastic utensils.

The food was fresh and amazing try the cabbage salad it is robust and flavourful. like a kick in the mouth compared to coleslaw . The dessert selection is yummy

I'm writing this review on the behalf of my mother Zakiah Moukanna. She owned and operated International delights in Durham along with my father for almost 30 years. She is an expert at cooking and running a business and enjoys good food and great service. She went to Neomonde last Tuesday with a friend and the food was exceptionally good. She stated that the cook was not only an amazing cook but was super nice and welcoming. Food ordered was Shawarma and chicken kabob sandwiches as well as baba ghanoush for a side. She recommends this restaurant and I can't wait to try it also. I always eat at the one in Raleigh as it's close to my job but will have to visit this Durham location soon!

We had refreshing, delicious salads with a chicken and lamb kabob platter. The cilantro japlepo humus was tasty and not spicy at all! We will return!

Have always loved Neomonde's food, but just recently visited the Durham location, and it's really cute, clean, and I loved my veggie lasagna!

BRING BENADRYL! Had an allergic reaction to their chicken shawarma pita pocket. No one told me there would be PEANUTS in it 🙃 This was after they took OVER 30 MINUTES to bring my food out. As a form of consolation, they placed a baklava (also filled with peanuts🫠) on my plate as well. No one ever asked if I was allergic or offered any solutions to their mistakes. Fries were also cold, hard and painfully over salted; same for the penne pasta. The restaurant was also completely empty so I'm not sure what the hold up or lack of communication was caused by. Beware!

I was looking forward to eating Mediterranean food and this place seemed promising. Unfortunately the food was really bad. Barely seasoned, overcooked, cold, and just not good. We paid for food we didn’t enjoy at all. We ordered lamb and steak kebab, hummus, baba ghanoush, chicken salad, lentil salad, and sweets. I would not comeback and would not recommend. Service was nice, place was clean, friendly staff.

We visited Neomonde Mediterranean today before seeing the Lion King show, and the food was delicious, the atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff were so friendly. They helped us with our order andade sure we understood our order since it was our first visit. I recommend that if you are ever in the area or just need a wonderful place to visit, stop on in, you will love it there ❤.

Very disappointed. Service was terrible. Went with another couple and even though we ordered together, their food came out 15 minutes after ours. Despite it being 630 on a Saturday and not crowded, ALL of the tables were dirty. We ended up just wiping with napkins and hoping for the best. When our food came out it didn’t have pita. We asked our food runner and she said she’d bring some. After 10 minutes she hadn’t so I went back to the counter to ask about it and stood there 2 minutes before even being acknowledged by the staff who then acted like it was a crazy imposition to ask for what was supposed to be included in our meal. Food was good enough ultimately but for nearly $100 for 4 people, this was not remotely worth the money. We will not return and will take our business elsewhere.
