Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 I feel that Poke is still a new concept to many of us and if you haven't had the chance to indulge yet, check out these guys. We heard that these guys where the original poke burrito creators. They created a video of a poke burrito that went viral and Durham has NC's very first location! Yesterday we checked them out and where highly impressed! They have these amazing kale noodles that leave you feeling so full yet they are super healthy. We also grabbed an Hawaiian Classic Poke Burrito which was jam packed with Ahi Tuna! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Are you vegan, vegetarian, gluten free... they have options for you here! Their "build your own" option gives you 100s of combinations you can put together. Lastly - these guys have a dining room that is open and they are on all of the major delivery apps! *Tip- For you raw seafood lovers check out the Hawaiian Ahi and Spicy Ahi. They are both crowd pleasers. Don't care for raw? Check out the Ginger Chicken with Kale noodle ... it's so amazing!

First time customer. Told the worker that I couldn’t have anything spicy, specifically selected non-spicy versions of ingredients, and yet the bowl was spicy and burned my mouth. Aside from that, it’s just not very tasty. It’s fine but not good and not something I’d ever come back for. Didn’t seem fresh at all.

Good poke spot in downtown Durham that has a number of protein options, white or brown rice, and then a number of toppings and sauces including some that are a little unusual. You can also order poke as a bowl, burrito, salad, or with noodles. Ends up being a lot of combinations. You can customize poke order or choose from a number of options they have created. Small space that does not have a ton of seating, but it is clean, bright, and pleasant. Counter order and made in front of you. Easy to go spot.

I had the fried shrimp teriyaki poke bowl. The staff was helpful and polite. The lettuce was too big in chunks. It could of been chopped or shredded smaller. I felt like a rabbit or a goat chomping down on the lettuce. The fried shrimps tasted like popcorn shrimp. I will go back to try a different type of poke bowl.

WHOOOOOA! This was the most amazing poke bowl! So many textures and flavors going on! Whew! I was in heaven throughout every bite! A party in my mouth! I had the create your own bowl with spicy tuna and ahi tuna, pineapples, mandarins, avocado, green onions, rice, crispy wontons crispy onions, wasabi, sesame seeds.... outstanding!

Ordered delivery from here and it was some bomb poke. Everything came fresh and the bowl was packed. I got some extra fish and they really filled it up.

First time here, was very pleased! Each item was superbly fresh. There was a nice variety of protiens. The staff was knowledgeable making a first-time visit less awkward. The drink options were equally as fresh. Super clean restaurant... Definitely a return visit will be happening. With all of the positives, the only reason I chose 4-stars, price... Not that I didn't anticipate the price due to the menu, but for a fast/casual dining the price is a bit high in my opinion.

Terrible rice texture , chewy and gummy . Totally cooked with too much water , barely any toppings and the sauce was gross . worst poke I’ve had in Durham . Also my avocado was brown and definitely tasted old .

Today was our first time at Pokeworks and it will not be our last. We did not know what to order and the staff was super helpful. Food was super fresh and made to order. Restaurant was very clean.

We met up with a couple of friends from Durham who were vegan and wanted to try this new poke spot out. We weren't disappointed. My husband got a sushi burrito and I ordered the poke bowl with fresh sushi grade salmon - oh my God, so good.Also, definitely try the lotus chips for an exotic crunch! You might worry that the portions would be small. Not at all! I've never been served so much raw fish in my life. The portion was actually more than I could handle. The only drawback from our visit was a lack of child-friendly menu options. The manager on duty mentioned that they were working on getting some family friendly options on the menu and that we should come back soon and look for those. We certainly will.

Great spot for lunch. I did have to circle around a bit to find parking. Once I got a metered spot across from the restaurant, I decided to set my alarm and eat my meal. Originally, I wanted to grab something quick to go. But it was a nice experience. I sat by the front window and people-watched.

Amazing and affordable!!

We tried "their" version of bubba tea... It was simple, too watery, never felt the taste of tea. The bubbas tasted rancid and old not the jelly taste as it should be. I guess this is not a popular item ALTHOUGH they charge a premium price for it. Never again.

My family loved the 4 dishes we got today. All were amazing. Ingredients were very fresh. The restaurant is very clean and well run. The workers were friendly and efficient.

I hope this review serves as constructive feedback to enhance the quality of food and food preparation training at this location. I am a loyal customer of various poke locations in Texas and Tennessee, but my recent move to NC and visit to this sole location in the state was extremely disappointing. Issues encountered: - Bones and skin on the salmon. Bones punctured my mouth. - Overcooked and mushy rice, starkly different from the firm sticky rice as standard. - Excessive sauce poured. Note: I always get heavy (3 squirts or so) without issue but I was shocked to see several ounces poured out saturating the rice to the bottom of the bowl. - Cilantro with numerous thick stems, burnt-tasting wontons, and toppings not fresh or finely cut. I believe addressing these concerns will lower the risk of food borne illnesses and increase customer satisfaction. I hope to revisit again in a few months and change my review. Definitely the highest quality fish in Durham- most sushi here is gross and the fish is not fresh. I come here ever my few weeks for a fresh, yummy dinner.

Pokeworks, why have I been passing you all these months?!? Your food is so fresh and amazing! I was really wanting a lunch that was refreshing and uplifting after a very long day and you provided that! I went with building my own bowl because I am super indecisive! I got the regular bowl with salad and rice topped with shrimp and spicy salmon. Then I added ginger, seaweed, pineapple, wontons, and aoili and house sauces. Omg! So good! Every bite was just as good if not better than the last! I love that the rice was warm too! This is probably some of the best Poke I've ever had and I cannot wait to come back and get more! Also, the service was phenomenal! The gentleman that helped me was so kind and understanding with all of my questions and additions! So go!

I love this place! It’s slightly on the pricey side depending on what you get but they have many options to choose from! I especially love the spicy options. Always fresh and I love the fact you can torch your protein. Pokeworks is my favorite treat to myself.

Boyfriend and I ordered a poke burrito to split. We asked if they could cut in half, but were told they couldn't because they don't have knives? Odd. Everything tasted good and fresh, but burrito just fell apart after two bites and was just awkward and messy. Best to stick with their poke bowls I guess.

PokeWorks has always been my go to place since it opened. Recently, I ordered a large bowl and the young lady who prepared it was very rude and unhelpful. She skimped on the sides/toppings including the sauce, literally a small blob for Large Poke bowl. I had to tell her that I’ve been coming for years and she wasn’t being fair. We understand inflation but its not an excuse to charge people more for way less and poorer service.

I paid $28.50 to have a large poke bowl delivered. I understand it’s much more expensive having it delivered. I love poke I visit Hawaii often I am from California and Florida and lived in Japan. I have enjoyed many poke places. I have recently moved to North Carolina and was desperate to find a poke place that I enjoyed. I was highly highly Disappointed In the quality of fish. I ordered spicy salmon and spicy tuna The salmon was ok however not spicy at all, but the tuna was actually ineible to me. It still had skin and sinew on many of the pieces and it was incredibly fishy. I ended up picking out all the tuna and just throwing it away. I was extremely disappointed in the grade of the fish considering the price almost $20 for a large poke bowl.

Clean environment with pretty decent amount of toppings and options. Tuna was a good consistency (sometimes it’s not great at poke spots so worth noting) and the ponzu sauce was delish. Knocked down one star because service wasn’t great. I asked for a little bit of extra of one of the free toppings and the server only told me he would charge me extra for that after the fact and didn’t confirm that that I still wanted it beforehand, which was annoying.

the manager (Dee i think her name is) was so kind and attentive to my order. she made suggestions based off what I said I normally like, and the bowl she made was amazing! definitely recommending friends come to this location. GIVE HER A RAISE!!

Just stopped in to get something because my wife and I were in the area and there isn’t a location where we live. There were two young ladies working. They didn’t explain how things work and we were charged more than expected because we got two proteins….the sign says two proteins for the regular. Then rather than explaining to us they acted as if we should have known and said we didn’t make them aware of what we wanted. I think this is poor customer service and makes us not want to come back. Our last visit was much better and friendlier staff. We didn’t get the same vibe this time. Btw…Sunday, December 22nd between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM
