    I had just left the hospital at chapel Hill and had got great news. The doctor told me I was cured after a 8 year battle with leukemia. So I decided to celebrate with a good breakfast and stopped at this waffle house location. I have eat at many waffle houses all over and never had a bad experience and this one was no different great people, great food. So I was making conversation with the lady cooking my food and told her why I stopped in to eat and told her the great news I had received. She congratulated me and cooked me a great breakfast. When I was ready to leave the waitress told me no charge the Manger covered my meal and gave me a key chain that said "may you be proud of the work you do, the person you are and the difference you make". With a thank you on the other side. Made my day all I can say is thank you back and pass it on and do something for someone else. The waffle house chain should be proud of the staff running this location because it's on a whole different level. Totally outstanding!!!!

    Good food and great service. Waiters were nice and surprisingly clean. But don’t expect too much, it’s still a Waffle House. Beautiful sticky floors.

    Stood there for 20 min; they didn’t bus any tables and didn’t sit us. They were too busy arguing with each other and doing very little else.

    Seating was limited because the waitress didn't want to clean the tables. You couldn't even use the bathroom and the waitress required you to pay your bill so she could get her tips before she left for the day. Then to top it all off she asked you to stop in the middle of eating your breakfast and bring your check to the register. This was the height of laziness and poor service. I won't be back!

    Horrible, horrible service I’ve been here ordering for 20 minutes. They have a new system where you have to order online while sitting in the restaurant if you have a to go order. I was the only person ordering. There were 4 staff members present. The wait staff offered 0 assistance. All the while the one nearest to me is on her phone. The female cooking did her best to offer quality customer service, while cooking Rachel most certainly does not like her job at all. She behaved as if she was bothered by any questions concerning the menu. My steak and hash round is $25. I will never return. For the first time, I’m grateful that my children left some groceries in the car. 👎🏽

    If I could give no stars I would. There are no customers inside and was still forced to go outside to order. There should be a better explanation. I watched them turn an elderly woman around and as she left upset all the employees who we all doing nothing decided to laugh…all people are trying to do is order food! Terrible customer service.

    Tonight, A warm greeting and prompt service to my table. No hot chocolate or anything warm to drink besides coffee. My order was blueberry waffle and cheese eggs. I enjoyed my meal undisturbed. The food was great and will return to hear the music, along with a fabulous harmony voice, along with my future dinner visits. No military discount

    The menu is much smaller than it used to be. They are quick with preparation though. Table wasn't clean and neither were the doors at the entrance. Why? Since COVID is not as prevalent, no one is cleaning like they used to do.

    Loved the late night service ladies . They were so friendly after working all night. Quick service and made sure I had everything in my bag. Ordered a sausage, egg,cheese,hash brown bowl. Awesome

    I don't know what's happened to the culture of customer service. But Waffle House has some of the most disturbing staff to customer culture I've ever seen. When a customer requests a condiment instead of providing it you have staff members that will tell you it's already in the bag or you should have ordered it when you made your online order. Then when you speak up and tell them there's not an option to order the condiment they look at you as if you're crazy and then another worker will have to step in and give it to you. I'm not sure about all the social media sites where customers get in fights with workers or whatever and workers feel like they can jump on customers but be it as it may but just understand , I don't partake in low income, low class, behavior that some staff members portray.

    Surprisingly one of the best restaurants in raleigh! Corey's restaurant expertise was unparalleled and unmatched! The food was dirt cheap, low in calories, the chicken was juicy and fresh, and the atmosphere was (somehow) really welcoming!!! I will be back FOR SURE! Keep cooking and remember where to put those jelly packets on the plate!!! 💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Tammy was absolutely fabulous. The food was perfect. Tammy’s service was amazing. The others that work there were very rude to a lot someone. They should be let go and they should start all over. Again, Tammy was fabulous.

    Showed up at 9:10 was told it was shift change. My man JJ come out the back and takes care of business. Gets out order while everyone else is just cleaning and trying to get off the clock! JJ is the man. Atmosphere and service went from 1 to 5 just on his being aware

    We visited the Waffle House because it was very spacious and open for business. The cashier server was so gentlemen like. The food was just what we ordered and the coffee ☕ was superb. We dined in and was very comfortable. Excellent service and would recommend a stop. Thank you. We had a most tasteful time.

    Stopped in last night, only 2 people inside being served, and approx 5-6 employees. Sat and waited over 10 minutes - numerous employees walked past our booth, but none acknowledged our presence. I spoke to one lady and nicely asked for 2 menus - she turned her back and ignored us - from 2 to 3 feet away. Never again going back - stay away from this location at all costs!

    The staff was so friendly and welcoming which was greatly appreciated after being on the road late-night for a couple hours. The food was great too. I had a bacon egg and cheese on toast. My friend had a burger. Both were excellent!!

    Although short staffed the entire crew was pleasant. The line cook even asked if everything was okay. The one server was as sweet as pie and very efficient in bee job.

    Unfortunately one of the worst meals I’ve had at Waffle House. We arrived at 7:05 and the waiter was prompt to take our order and made fresh coffee for us. He took our order and then we waited for him to call it, but no cook was available. My husband finally explained that we had a doctor’s appointment and he said it was shift change and his manager was the cook and should be out shortly. Shift change should not inconvenience the customer. The worst was the order was not even correct and the food was slapped on the plate. Ordered hash browns covered and hubby ordered them smothered and covered. Both were plain. One slice of toast was not even toasted, it didn’t go down into the toasted and she just served it anyway. Omelets had the correct ingredients, but we’re over cooked. Very disappointing breakfast!

    WORSE waffle House EVER. Drove a hour to meet my sister half way from her house, so we could have a sister day... I can say the waitress where the worse ever and so rude, did not bring me my meal all together literally 10 minutes apart for my all star never got my toast nor waffle, the dish guy was spraying dishes and we were sitting at the bar table and it sprayed across the table on my arms, my phone, my shirt, my food ... They did not care or even apologize a matter of face the two waitress said we get off at 2pm which was still about 15 minutes. I was never rude to them, they still charged me for my all star where I never even got my full meal, and my full glass of soda just had greasy grill water sprayed into it along of what food I had gotten in the 30 minutes I had been there, I only got to eat half my hash brown.... Ridiculous, my sister and I meet once a week in the middle for lunch and we will NEVER EVER return to this location. 💯💯💯💯

    I was looking for a chicken lover's dinner which is not online so I call the recording says place your order online or come by the restaurant I get to the restaurant the guy (cook)tells me place your order online I said what I'm looking for is not online, Then he proceeds to tell me that he made the online ordering menu for the store and nor the store and knows that everything they have is online don't lie so I told him your chicken lover's dinner is not online, he got real smart mouthed. So again I asked will you take the order he replied I'm happy to take your order as long as it's online. And I repeated that's not what the recording said well I'm not taking your order Then I asked him for his name so I could file a complaint and he got even more smart so I left the restaurant before I really punched him in his face. This restaurant doesn't even deserve 1 star but I couldn't give 0.

    It's been a while since I visited this location and some things have changed. Waitresses no longer call out orders to the chef/cook. A single person does and I'm not sure of the order in which they are called out. Our waitress, Miss Sunny was true to her name. She was bubbly, welcoming and a breath of fresh air amongst the confusion (perceived on my part in sure). The food was good just took longer than expected to receive it.

    I ordered an Allstar special a few other items 12/2/23. Got food poison while eating, started to get sick, threw up everywhere to the point where I couldn’t breath and my face turned purple. I am still dealing with it today, I feel horrible. They don’t have a customer service number and all their workers are so underpaid and broke they don’t care what or who they serve. They don’t wash their hands or clean behind themselves properly. I will be taking legal action in district court. Never eating Waffle House again

    The workers do just enough to get buy and not enough for full customer service. They most definitely don't leave their attitude at home. Regardless, the food is still satisfactory and the portions are adequate. The maintenance of the facility does need work.

    not your typical waffle house. we got chill vibes. little sketchy area/ parking lot/ gas station…. but come and check this waffle house out. get some door food for cheap at 4am and listen to marvin gaye on the jukebox. yes they have a juke box

    I came in and was immediately serviced. Everyone and I do mean everyone was nice including the women which is rare. Sunny, Rachel, Liwen, Skylar and Ty were phenomenal. I appreciate good professional customer service and they ACED it! This crew is the epitome of customer satisfaction! I enjoyed my breakfast and the environment they bring with their service. I don’t even live here, I live in Greensboro and came down to visit my sister and decided to stop for a quick breakfast and that it was. Super fast, with all smiles. Thank you for making my morning start off so fabulous!! I got the ALL STAR special with coffee and everything was delicious! Keep up the good work!!!!

    I usually stop here when I have a hair appointment at the mall. The service and food are always good. Today my food was stellar and Sunny was fabulous.Sunny greeted everyone that entered Waffle house. I was well taken care of and had to ask for nothing. Sunny had already provided it for me. I couldn't have gotten better service anywhere. AAA

    Horrible service. they lied to me saying I had to place my order online just to inconvenience me then wouldn’t help me place the order at that point another employee came in and told me I could do my order in house. They were very rude and sarcastic this happened at 10:40 pm on 2/16/2022 it’s very sad that ppl treat customers like they are such a problem we just want food I was very polite and was met with pure disdain smh never going back to that Waffle House on hwy 54 Durham.

    Servers are amazing here. Cook is usually good... But sometimes makes mistakes, like every human, like eggs not being fried as hard as they should or whatever. But again- everyones human and I'm thankful I dont have to cook on these days. The food comes up fast, and the restaurant is clean, so what more can you ask from a waffle house?

    Waffle House, hwy 54. 2 ladies had on bonnets 🤨 not sure why that’s allowed. It was cleaner than I expected. The lady that helped us was very nice! I forgot her name. The food was mediocre! We both had T-bones, eggs, hash-browns and we shared a waffle. Nothing had flavor. The lady with the bonnet who appeared to be the manager touched the bacon in the cooler with no gloves.

    It was ok. Grits were a little clumpy but the rest of the food was great. I only gave 3 stars because the service could've been better. The waitress stayed on her phone the whole time I was there and never checked on me until after I finished my food. Also the table had not been wiped off when I sat down and was dirty. It wasn't busy so it shouldn't have been dirty and it shouldn't have took so long for her to come to the table.

    Last time I was there - and I mean the most recent AND final - let's see what went wrong: Server literally throws silverware on table. Takes 10 minutes to bring ice water. Eggs undercooked to point of not being safe to eat, friend ordered side of onions with food and wasn't given them, and guy behind us asked for bacon and the server literally said no. She refused so he walked out with his kid with a table full of food. Place was filthy with open spills on the floor that remained the entire visit. Also server has airpods in and was on phone the whole time. Waffle House is a good place and there are better locations in Durham

    Family ate there around 7:00pm on 12-23-22 and it was almost as cold inside as it was outside. Outside was 21 degrees and the air conditioner was on inside and the cashier said they can’t control it. We had to eat quickly before our food got cold. The food was great and the service. Just too cold.

    Came in Christmas 🎄 morning 2022 with my Honey, was immediately greeted at the door by a Lady with a welcoming smile. As she opened the door for us, we were mesmerized by the sweet aroma of Maple syrup and smells of breakfast in the air. We knew right then that the Veterans were on the line, and Lawd knows we are grateful 🙏🏾. Compliments to everyone, the synergy and vibe was top tier 👌🏾. We sang "Silent Night" by none other than The Temptations and the music selection was on point. This experience felt like Home, it felt like a time in our childhood. We appreciate everyone who had a part in our experience, special thanks to our Waitress Kandace for her courteous and professional services. We appreciate you spending your Christmas serving us and the community.

    Waffle house do you want business or not. You say place to go orders online and the online app is trash and tells you to go to the store where the idiots there say I cannot place a order in-store you have to place online. How much sense does that make when people are dining in you can't place a to go order in store. The food is overpriced anyway but as we know big businesses don't care

    I don't often rate this bad. Client service was slower than it should be. And the food just straight out smelled fishy and the taste was just off. Get that night shift in better shape.
