What a wonderful addition to downtown Chico. Our server was none other than Sofia, herself. She was so very charming and was happy to explain things. She is an amazing cook and it shows. The atmosphere was light and lively, the food was amazing and you couldn't ask for better service.

Our first time trying Pakistani food. It was very flavorful and rich! The staff was very nice and our food wait wasn’t too bad especially since it was busy. The garlic nans are a must to sop any dish. My only complaint, and almost cost a start, is that the dishes don’t come with rice! But over all it’s a new Chico must to go here. The atmosphere is very pleasantly different than most other restaurants.

The tender chicken, perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection, was accompanied by a vibrant blend of herbs and spices that truly elevated the dish to another level. It was a harmonious marriage of traditional Pakistani cuisine and a contemporary twist, leaving us craving for more. Beyond the exceptional food, the ambiance at Sofiz was inviting and cozy. It was evident that great care had been taken to create a space where guests can relax and enjoy their culinary journey. The service at Sofiz was impeccable throughout our visit. Sofi and her sister took the time to explain the origins of the dishes and offer recommendations based on our preferences. Their passion for their craft and commitment to ensuring a wonderful dining experience were truly commendable. I cannot recommend Sofiz Kitchen and Bar enough to those seeking a unique and extraordinary dining experience in Chico, CA. The blend of authentic Pakistani flavors with a modern twist is a testament to the creativity and culinary expertise of Sofi and her team. The emerald chicken, in particular, is a must-try dish that will leave you craving for more. Combine that with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you have a recipe for an unforgettable dining experience. Sofiz has undoubtedly become one of my favorite spots in town, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit.

Very friendly staff and we loved the vibe of the place. We’re always looking for the best Indian places around. It was delicious but taking off one star for the food because the tandoori chicken was a bit dry. Other than that, everything was delicious! We will be back :)

I checked out Sofi’z Kitchen and Bar on Broadway St a while back. I had the butter chicken with boiled rice and a naan with a serving of laduoo and jalabi because im a glutton. The entree had a decent kick of heat but not so much that it took over the flavor. Overall delicious and highly recommend it. The rice and naan were deliciously soft. The laduoo had a enjoyable nutty aroma and not overly sweet with syrup, I’d say it’s a must. They also have jalabi not listed on the menu and it’s pleasant to the palate as well, the sweetness does not over power you. Overall, I’d say it’s definitely a nice go-to spot for delicious Pakistani food, nice atmosphere and kind workers, so I’d very much recommend a visit and a sit. I’ll be coming back for more 😁.

10/10 experience. We’ve been here twice and great service both times. Very welcoming and authentic. Great sauces and food served fresh & hot. Love the fish pakora & tandoori chicken, and the garlic naan was amazing.

Wow! This place really does have it all. The ambiance was just right and the decor is so beautiful. The menu had so much variety without being overwhelming. The service was on point BUT THE FOOD. The flavor was immaculate, my husband and I's mouths were watering instantly. The combination of flavors had us doing the happy food dance. We ended up getting to chat with the owner who is so welcoming and passionate about her food. We knew this place was going to be good but we were amazed with how much it exceeded our expectations. We are already talking about what we are ordering next time.

We’ve been wanting to try this place and finally had a dinner date and it was amazing! The service, the atmosphere and the food were great! We had the Lamb chops which is goat and it was the best I’ve ever had, super tender and flavorful! We also order chicken with chickpeas, it’s like a gravy and it was delicious! A little spicy but not overpowering. We will definitely return! 👏🏼
