Very stressful, fast paced, and unfriendly! We've been here a few times now, because it is one of the only options for my insurance. My kids both had cavities so we've had to go in for a series of treatments. The quality of work is okay, in the sense that so far we haven't had any issues come from their treatment, but the workers don't really inspire us with a lot of faith in them. This is mostly because they are terrible at communication. It really feels rushed and unfriendly. Last time we went in, I don't think a single person said anything to us in the form of a greeting. The receptionist didn't greet us, just asked who I was checking in then told us to take a seat. The dental assistant didn't greet us either, just took us back, told my kids to take a seat and then selected a random movie (without asking my kids' input on what they might prefer), and then preceded to play it at a very loud volume for the duration of the appointment. The dentist didn't even say a word to us. I assume he's the dentist at least, since he did the actual work, but he never even introduced himself. He just came in, talked to the dental assistant and got to work. Most of the time we don't even know what they're doing until we're leaving and the women at the front desk explain what just happened and what the next treatment will be. There is no upfront discussion about what they are going to do. My kids are a bit nervous and uncomfortable about going to the dentist at this point, and I really think some warmth, reassurance, introductions and friendliness could go a long way to making this go better for them. It's very clear that they are just trying to get as many patients in and out as fast as possible. Feels like we are all on a conveyor belt. Not a fan of this business model at all. On the plus side, it is clean, and they appear to do good work, but it's becoming really stressful and a scary, uncertain experience for my kids and me. I've had worse experiences in town where the dentists seemed incompetent and gave us bad advice. This place does at least appear to know what they are doing, but if you have the option to go somewhere else I would encourage you do so.

I would have given this company a 5 star review, until today. The front desk ladies were absolutely, positively so unprofessional and just plain MEAN today. They made a mistake and kept calling a random number to contact me, one that wasn’t even in my children’s paperwork, so they canceled two of my children’s appointments. When I said, “that’s not my number, I never got a voicemail from this office,” one of the receptionists proceeded to call me a liar, and tossed her headset at me to “prove” I didn’t have a voicemail set up. They refused to admit their mistake. I’ve had to constantly correct them on my phone number and the spelling of my daughters name. I called the back office number and the lovely woman apologized profusely for the bad behavior up front, and said she was extremely confused as to why my kids appointments were canceled. I will return because I adore the dentist herself, she is amazing with the children and eases all their anxiety. But I won’t change my review until I receive an apology from those awful women at the front desk.

My kids enjoy coming here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would give it a 4.5 overall, but I have rounded up since I couldn't do that. I have any had a couple bad experiences due to wait time. Worst one: We were finally called back almost an hour after our scheduled appointment time. It was anxiety inducing since I needed to be at work soon and my kid was hungry and couldn't eat because he was being put under, so this caused for a cranky kid and then a cranky momma. Other than that we love this place. Our most recent visit turned out great. We were in and out super fast considering we were almost canceled on. They took into consideration that I don't live in town and I was almost there, ahead of scheduled time. They unfortunately ended up understaffed that day, which I get. So 5 stars. They are amazing.

This place is fantastic. I drove an hour and a half because my son doesn’t like or cooperate with the Dentist close to us so they referred us to children’s choice dentist and let me say they are amazing although they were not able to do all of the x-rays I’m surprised my son even did the very few that they were able to get not to mention they cleaned his teeth and put vitamins on his teeth and the doctor was able to look at his teeth. They couldn’t even do any of this at his regular dentist close to home! I am beyond grateful for this place. All the ladies were wonderful! Everyone was smiling and great customer service!! I will continue to drive an hour and a half so my 3 yo can get the care he needs! 10/10

I visited the Chico office with my 4 year old son, and the dental assistant named Chantel, was absolutely so patient and kind towards my son. No pressure to do anything, she was so calm and relaxed with his less than obedient attitude. Glad I chose this place for my sons dental needs

Absolutely love this place. They took great care of my three year old and even caught something very important his previous dentist missed. Very kind staff and the anesthesiologist was very knowledgeable and so kind. Definitely taking all my kids there from now on!

This is by far the best place anyone can take their kids.. I absolutely love it. Everyone is so nice and friendly.. We felt welcomed and we asked questions without feeling embarrassed or intimidated. Making an appointment was super easy and I didn't feel rushed. Appointments we're available right away. My child got work done yesterday at 6am.. It went so smooth.. They put her out and when she was recovering she didn't cry.. She did so good at home was just like a normal kid.. I was afraid she would be in pain at home but she wasn't. Everything was perfect
