Ein schöner großer Park! Lädt ein für einen tollen Spaziergang! Leider hatte es an dem Tag, wo wir dort waren geregnet, das war nicht so toll! Eine Wiederholung ist in Planung!

Thank you reading 📖 my Review. Very nice and relaxing park. It is the beautiful and oldest public garden in Düsseldorf. There are a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the with fresh air. Water 🚿 is mainly covered many visitors. A wonderful park in the outside of Dusseldorf. It's a peaceful environment. Those living in around the area very luck people. Nice kids play Path for walking, running bike riding. Here you can find many modern works as well as historic monuments throughout the park. I attached some pictures and info 😊 I

Nice enough but uninspiring park North of Düsseldorf town centre. The highlight unquestionably is the Japanese Garden which is lovely. Also a pair of gigantic statues at the entrance are very impressive. The park also houses an aquarium which we didn't visit.

It is a very beautiful park! There are areas of different themes, a lot of flowers and interesting trees! And you can also visit the Aquazoo, which is located right there (very interesting place).

It was wonderful. Perfect for gatherings or even spending some quality time alone. There is one restaurant and they accept only cash. 2 parks are there with swings, slides, seesaw. The tram station is right at the gate. We saw so many rabbits out in the fields. Kids can have lot of fun.

A quiet and beautiful garden where you can spend more than an hour. There is a children's playground. There is a Japanese garden. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the aquarium. Parking is available and parking costs 2€ per hour

Very beautiful park. Probably my favourite in Düsseldorf. The groundskeepers and gardeners obviously take great pride in it.

I’m here in June. It’s HOT. A part of the garden that supposed to have flowers disappeared into sad dying grass. There were quite a few people who were jogging, and some was taking a walk. I wish there was more shades or the grass at least looks more green. However, considering other areas of sandy Dusseldorf, this park is not bad. (For some reason, there were many renovations/constructions, I got sand in my eyes a few time when I was walking in t he city center)

Great place in the heart of Dusseldorf and next to Rhein. Lot of space to walk around, play, stroll. Children and adults can have fun as they want. Flower gardens are amazing and maintained very well. Next to U station and a large parking. AquaZoo is a great addition to the park.

Beautiful park in the city that is equally enchanting in both winter and summer seasons. This park is a true oasis in the heart of the city, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to relax and breathe in the fresh air, or a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll, this park has it all. In the winter, the park is transformed into a winter wonderland, with snow-covered trees and serene landscapes that are truly magical. You can take a peaceful walk on the snow-covered trails or have a snowball fight with your family and friends. The park is perfect for ice skating, with its large frozen pond, and the scenery is just breathtaking. In the summer, the park is alive with vibrant colors and sweet fragrances, as the flowers and trees come into full bloom. The park's greenery is a true feast for the eyes, with well-maintained lawns, beautiful gardens, and colorful flower beds. It's a great place for a picnic, or to just lay down and read a book while soaking up the sun. Overall, this park is a true gem in the city, offering a tranquil haven for all seasons. Whether you're a nature lover, a family with kids, or just looking for a place to relax and unwind, this park is the perfect destination.

I have been there at least 10 times. Everytime i went there it was either morning or sometime around midday and we have had a good time. Last time I went was 1 week ago, at 17.30 aprox. As we approach winter, daytime is shorter and at around 18 it turns almost completely dark. What shocked me is that there are absolutely no lights at all! No street lights, nothing! You feel like on the bottom of a deep pit! You feel unsafe especially with small children. If somebody is hiding in a bush 2 meters away, you cannot see him. As earlier mentioned It was 17.45 or 18 in the afternoon not 22 or 23. I find this really odd from the authorities.i understand that energy is expensive but come on. I have been to a lot of parks in a lot of countries less developed than Germany and there was plenty of light there. Please adress the situation. Thank you

A beautiful classic park with a japanese area where you can enjoy rich cherry blossoms in spring. Around the japanese garden young people of the manga scene are gathering. At the entry way of the park you also find the fully renovated "Aquazoo" that is worth a visit for kids and adults alike.

Nice park to visit in Düsseldorf. Not many amenities but worth a visit. The Japanese Garden was the best part!

  • 5/5 Ellegancia S. 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful quiet park very close to the city centre of Düsseldorf. It can be easily reached by bike or by car, as there is a free car park next to one of the entrances to the park. This park is very spacious, very comfortable for walking, has many benches which makes it perfect to enjoy a quiet moment reading a book near one of the fountains and listening to the sound of the water. On Sundays you can see many people enjoying a picnic with their family, children or friends. Undoubtedly an excellent place to disconnect and enjoy the madness of the city. On Sundays many newlywed couples are often seen doing their photo album, as the park is simply perfect for wedding photographs. On weekdays you can also see groups of people practising Taichi, which you can join them and exercise in a natural environment.

Today a terrible thing happened. My 5 year old kid and few more same aged kids were practising baseball. A dog came chasing everyone of them.. the owner was not able to catch him.. it took time and kids got traumatized also he was trying to bite them.. i think the authority should make strict laws to keep dogs in a leash where kids are playing.. though there is a certain specified area where dogs can play without leash and after that its a rule to keep dogs in leash but nobody follows it.. and it gets a little tough for small kids then.. i request authority to take control over it. Hopefully they listen

Close proximity to the Rhein river, the park also has a Japanischer Garden, loads of green space and wonderful landscapes with gardens. It is worth a visit during all seasons.

Great park huge space. Its best for a picnic.

  • 5/5 Anton 3 years ago on Google
I do believe this the best park in Düsseldorf. Maybe it is not that big and there are not that many flowers as in Südpark, but it is very walkable, the landscape design is very smart and the park is beautiful all the year - even in winter. I never get tired walking there. One of the most beautiful locations there is Japanese garden and if your are lucky enough to catch sakura trees full of flowers somewhere in spring - you'll get it double :)

Not much to write home about. Well maintained but plain park. Though if you’re a fan of wildlife, you can see quite a number of rabbits on an evening walk through the park
