Just
a
short
drive
from
Duesseldorf,
this
castle
is
located
in
a
much
quieter,
slow
paced
location.
Parking
was
a
bit
confusing,
but
there's
a
parking
lot
right
down
the
street
and
there
are
signs
that
direct
you
to
'schloss
parking'.
Make
sure
you
bring
cash
for
payment.
The
castle
is
more
like
an
estate,
and
its
about
a
10
min
walk
from
the
parking
lot.
I
bought
tickets
online,
and
it's
a
bit
confusing
trying
to
figure
out
where
to
go.
I
wish
there
was
a
directory
outside
that
told
us
what
each
building
was.
With
the
pass
we
were
able
to
tour
a
little
museum
with
local
animals
(all
stuffed)
and
other
information
about
the
local
land.
Across
the
way,
there
were
stairs
to
go
down
that
lead
us
into
the
estate.
You
must
leave
your
bags
in
a
small
locker
room
and
when
you
go
upstairs,
slippers
are
to
be
worn
over
your
shoes.
The
man
at
the
locker
room
explained
all
of
this
to
us.
The
estate
was
beautiful!
It
was
minimally
decorated,
but
the
architecture
and
wall
art
was
enough
to
keep
everyone's
interest.
There's
a
large
park
in
the
back
that
we
didn't
have
time
to
explore.
But
overall,
I
would
recommend
visiting
this
estate.
