Very nice, beautiful and quiet place! Lots of very interesting plants and beautiful flowers (we were when the roses were in bloom). Large fish and turtles swim in the lake. I recommend to go there to enjoy nature.

Really enjoyed my visit here in mid April. Highlights for me were the Japanese area, the Kitchen garden and being an Australian, I was thrilled to discover various Australian plants in the large dome. Eucalyptus, Banskia, a huge Wollemi Pine, among others. I will return regularly here.

Very nice place to see with a lot of different species. Big park where you can walk. You can only access the dome and not the others houses. It’s free. You can spend around 1h or 1h30 there if you take your time.

The botanical garden belongs to HHU. The diversity is very good but it’s a bit out of maintenance perhaps because of shortage of hands

It's a good place for visiting with the family. Many flowers 🌼🌹, plants 🌹☘️ from exotic countries you can find there. Orangerie is big and futuristic under the globe dome. There are even toilets for free. Please consider that on Saturday it opens at 13:00.

Nice little place that I have loads of memories from. Best choice for a family afternoon. However wouldn't recommend going there in winter - Not much to see.

it's a very nice place, but it could be a little more well-maintained and there is a lot of animal excrement especially around it - it is necessary to be careful while walking

It was a nice place with lots of greenery and plants from different parts of the world in one place. Loved the Ausbildung and Südafrika Haus as well as the main botanical garden but shame that some parts were not accessible to look closer (not meant for public and only for research) which makes sense but just an observation. The open place outside is a bit dirty with dog poops in the grass everywhere but the parrots and other small birds were really nice to watch.

As a park it’s fine, as a botanical garden it’s not the best you can get. Plants are not well displayed and some are lack of maintenance.

Tropical garden inside the glass house is very nice... Good varieties of plants...

Interesting place to learn about the flora from different world regions. It’s also a good place for a relaxing walk in nature.

Very beautiful flowers and extraordinarily well kept garden. There were also cute geese roaming around that weren't agressive.

The botanical garden offers a great selection of spices, although certain areas are in need of reconstruction. It would be a nice addition to have drinking fountains or other amenities for visitors.

Botanical garden at university HHU is something that could be chosen as the best place for spending good evenings. There are good flowers and trees and are spread over a good area. There are also small lakes which are good attractions. During summer it's open till 7 pm . Also we could get free healthy plants from here. Only that you can pay a money that you feel but not at all compulsory.

What a great place to learn and walk around in. You can easily spend about two hours here if you want to see it all. The Dome is closed though because of COVID-19. That is a shame, it should be the highlight of this place. Better luck next time. If I would live nearby I would walk here just every day or just relax somewhere, because everywhere in the garden is a nice seating area.

Lovely place with a large variety of different plants and trees. Areas are still being established so i will want to visit again in the future. Quite when we visited has toilets but no facilities to get a drink which would have been nice? Because we visited on a hot day and didn't bring water. Signs to the garden are confusing but we found them fairly easily.
