The lake itself is very beautiful, but I've known the facility for decades and it's getting worse and worse. Here are the points: Parking costs at once, although absolutely nothing has been improved. Entrance fee is €4.80. Pontoons in the water for sunbathing are gone. Jetty was closed. Toilets dirty. Lifeguard hardly present. Out at 1930 (everyone used to watch the sunset). Volleyball court dismantled on the grass. Overgrown piles of sand on the back lawn. Water plants in the swimming area are not trimmed. It's all a shame. You can tell that local recreation is no longer being maintained.

High entrance fee plus new costs for the unpaved parking lot! There is no comparison to previous years. Sanitary facilities almost unusable. Completely filthy, toilet paper is in short supply even at lunchtime. The whole complex now looks sad. It was also annoying that a large part of the area was only accessible to the special guests of a yoga event.

One of the very few "sand beach" in Düsseldorf. The ticket of 4.5€/day grants access to the area, too expensive for the place imo. There's plenty of space on the grass, but very limited on the sand; after noon it will be almost impossible to find a spot near the water. There are two restaurants and chairs to hire, plus beach volley court and ping pong table. The bathrooms are clean, at least during the morning. The main drawback is that it will get very loud and messy, so a great place to go for fun with kids or friends, not that good for relax. If you want relax then better go just at 10am when it opens. Buying the ticket online is advisable to go through the quick queue.

A beautiful location with a "sandy beach" and meadow for sunbathing and relaxing and a separate swimming pool area in the lake. There is also a nudist area. It's a shame that there is no evening tariff or something similar. If you don't come until 5-6 p.m. and just want to enjoy the sun after work, you unfortunately have to pay the full daily price.

We like to go swimming there, it's a wonderful facility, something for everyone. It's just a shame that the entrance fee has now been indirectly increased with the additional parking fee.

Great nature reserve with a beautiful hiking trail and various opportunities for water sports, cycling and beaches. Whether alone, as a couple or with family, be sure to explore.

Reviewing the FKK portion, though the textile side seemed ok. Very nice, possibly one of the best I have been to. Not the busiest today, but looks like it can fit thousands when it's packed. Beach, three volleyball courts (two sand), ping pong tables and it's own snack shack too (don't see that often). Definitely should visit if you are in the area, it's family-friendly of course.

A beautiful beach 😎✌️ Large sunbathing areas, snacks, beach bar, volleyball and the water was 26 degrees that day. What was unfortunately noticeable was that there was dog excrement everywhere on the paths and on the lawn🙊💩 Because of the drought, all the lying areas were dry, yellow and stony. Gladly again for in between

A beautiful place for picnic with family and friends. It has a pig parking that always has space for your car. There are some beer gardens 🍺 close to the lake with a prefect view. The next time I'll rent a boat 🚣‍♂️😉

Tourist , only natural bath in dusseldorf paying, we didn't know it. With our child , we made the way by public transport during maybe 45 min to take a dip ( had to leave in one hour for leave by train) sad tot see that... For tourists i advice artificial bath swimming pool if you come from the city or take at least one half day to come

Very pleasant place to relax and swim. The nudist area is spacious and quiet. Only at the front of the beach can it get crowded in hot weather.

Clean sand beach, clean water, well organised. Nudist side is peaceful, plenty of space, very large lawn area. Perfect for a restful day.

High prices, for parking too, rip-off, 10 euros are charged as a usage fee for your own standup board... so it can be a very expensive day... I would rather recommend the Sechsseenplatte

My kids love this place. Very family friendly and clean.

Favorite place to swim when the season starts, especially - if time allows - right in the morning. The lake is then particularly clear and wonderful. Next year definitely and then more often...promise

Very clean outdoor pool. Of course very crowded when the weather is nice! There are enough parking spaces, it's worth downloading the Parkster app, which can now be used in many places in Germany and saves you having to wait in long queues at the machine

We were there with a bachelor party group. The sun was out so we needed some water to be able to cool down. We had a great visit! Enough places in the shadow or in the sun. Free toilet and shower available, drinks available, price reasonable.
