As kids we used to jump into the moat in Summertime or roam the fields around the grounds, memory lane. Nowadays it is part of the gardens and apple orchards with a good restaurant and a little market for local goods and produce.

It was rose festival garden with a local market products and alive music. And for sure thousands of different flowers to buy😍 Atmosphere of the event was fantastic! Ticket for one adult plus one kid was 15€. You can stay there the whole day for sure. My recommendation!

Well organized event. Not at the same level as Goodwood but nice cars, nice people and acceptable location. A shame that people don’t accept the dress code but that’s Germany. Race track not existing but still a chance to see great race cars driving.

This is an old castle situated on the outskirts of the city. The park surrounding the hotel is good to spend some leisure time in sunny days. Ideally good for picnic if I would put it that way. There is one cafe and and a restaurant too, plus shop. You need to buy entrance ticket. There is one issue I have faced in this place and word of caution for anyone coming via public transport on weekends. The bus service here is mostly one way and that also once in a day. Though there are two stops but the bus service is just awful. I took the bus and reached here via neuss on Saturday and thought there will be a returning too but unfortunately none. It was really terrible and does not make sense. Anyway I got taxi and found my way back home. But I saw others too struggling to get transport to return too. So if you do not have own transport, better avoid it.

Great castle, absolutely huge area filled with loads of different plants, trees and sculptures. Well worth a visit although I do think it should close a little later then 5pm possibly at 6pm instead but other then that its great. Its 8 euros entry for adults. Moi

Amazing hotel located within a deal German palace (“Schloss”). Stunning gardens (which you can visit even when they are closed to the public and you have them all for yourself), with great playgrounds for the kids. The rooms are large, with huge bathrooms and Ritual amenities. Breakfast is on demand, but sufficient. This is a fabulous place to spend some nights.

We planned a day trip here to visit a photography exhibition and decided just the day before to stay overnight. After all, who wouldn't want to stay in a hotel with a moat? The lodgings are both marvelous and intriguing. The food was delightful, and the staff even more so. The grounds offer seemingly endless paths with diverse horticulture. We look forward to our next visit!

This castle has a beautiful park on its ground. There are plenty of deck chairs for the visitors to relax on. It is just as amazing as some of the castles in Loire Valley, France.

Schloss Dyck. One of the finest parks in the area. And the picturesque water castle sits perfectly nestled in the middle of it. Well preserved and curated plants, trees and meadows. You can stroll for 1-2 hours and won't be fatigued. A small wood, bridges over brooks, a make-shift swing hanging from a crooked tree and even a zen garden, all waiting to be discovered. A small maze and a water playground has been recently paired with some outdoor facilities, such as a small low-rope garden. The highlight are the special events during spring, autumn, harvest, for Halloween and christmas and when the pictures have been taken in September at Lichterfest. A well-organised and marketed illumination festival. There is a very good restaurant and during events also stalls and drinks near the grand terrace. A hotel and a hall also allow for wedding parties to make Schloss Dyck an unforgettable part of your (married) life. You can also buy some fine presents, plants, trees and garden furniture at the stores at the entrance/exit and delicious local produce, especially apples from the castle's plantages. Abundance of parking spaces available.

Today it was the turn of the dahlias, they are in full bloom. An Eldorado for photographers who like flowers and want to put them in the limelight. Good place to spend a day. The greenery around the castle is amazing and the fresh air that you could feel there is worth visiting. The entry fee is little high. If you are living in Rhein-Kreis-Neuss, you can get Familien Karte from Rathaus and they give you a voucher that allows you to visit this place for free ( only once ).

Nice place that I discovered during a moto trip near Krefeld in Germany. Apparently they have a good agenda with regular activities. Check their website Schloss Dyck. We have seen the garden and art exhibition June 22nd 2019. It was a perfect entertaining stop with flowers, garden art, music, hiking, visiting the castle, something to drink and to eat. Worthwhile to see and to relax..

(Translated by Google) Fantastic outdoor area. Since you are not allowed to go into the castle at the moment, this is the only highlight. Especially considering that the price is much too overpriced, and due to the closed castle you get only a euro discount on the almost 10 € entry !! The price-performance ratio is usury! However, there is a nice playground for children.

(Translated by Google) We really liked the spacious garden around the moated castle. We were at lunch time there and the visitors were distributed well on the premises. Since a state garden show has already taken place here, there are various landscaped areas to see in addition to the landscape garden. As a Japanese garden, a vegetable garden, etc. For children there is a climbing course and a water playground. Some of the castle outbuildings were also accessible. In the former stables is a documentary was about the history of the garden. The castle could not be visited, there was probably shooting for an evening soap. Furthermore, on the premises is a restaurant with a small terrace was. Due to the current distance requirements led to queues formed again and again. Next to the restaurant there was still away with ice, drinks and cakes a take. The food could be consumed on garden benches in the park or on a larger terrace. A shop selling plants, decorative items and fruit from their own cultivation was also open. The range of plants was not outstanding and the prices rather in the upper segment. I also found the entrance impressive. The price was reduced due to the castle not being open and was € 8.50 for adults. Parking in the adjacent parking lot was free. A small ball of ice cream from the take away cost € 2. Ein kleines Bällchen Eis vom Take away kostete 2 €.
