Have eaten here a few times. I find it better than the average Hungry Horse in terms of food quality and portion sizes. Quick, easy, affordable dining.

I have had bad experience in general with awfull bar staff before. But this time was different. I really liked food, cheap and cheerful it is. Service was good especially during Corona times. I would go back after my last meal there. That was one of the best meals I had in that kind of pubs.

We came together to celebrate the life of our special friend on what would have been his birthday. Your staff were so kind and helpful. Thankyou

We have just had a meal at the Queen Elanor London Road Northampton and I can honestly say it was like having a meal in a motorway cafe. The service was dreadful, nobody came to the table to ask if everything was OK, the plates were dumped in front of us. No napkins and the food was basic .. not an enjoyable experience . When I complained the lady said she was shocked but didn't really do anything to make me want to return .

We needed a venue for a family reunion last minute. We booked for 25 and had 42 of us turn up. Leanne and the team seated us all, delivered meals efficiently and all were correct. Fantastic meals and service and we great evening.

I tried the Korean BBQ burger and it was just OK. I’ve had Korean BBQ before but that wasn’t it, although the chicken was crispy and tender it was let down by the Heinz BBQ sauce. Service was lacking but seems to be similar with most “Hungry Horse” pubs.

Just had turkey Sunday lunch at the Queen Eleanor. £8.79, excellent for the price, couldn’t fault it, great roast potatoes, hot veg, tasty gravy. Bargain. And a nicely kept pint of Abbot too. Good, attentive service. What’s not to like?

Always enjoy eating here, food is reasonably priced and pretty tasty. Staff are friendly and accommodating too. There's an outdoor plat area for kids which is in good condition. Lots of outdoor seating too.

Food was nice and cheap, nothing to complain about. The only issue was that the chicken wrap I ordered took about 30 minutes to arrive. Other than that was fine. Staff were friendly.

The Queen Eleanor is a standard pub and grub establishment and a branch of Hungry Horse pubs and restaurants and a subsidiary of the Greene King pub group. I visited with my family and we were very happy with our experience. It wasn't too busy when we were there at about 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon during half-term. A table had just been cleaned and we were able to sit and choose our food before going to the bar and ordering it although it is possible to order and pay on their app meaning you don't need to leave your table at all which is great for busier times or if you are eating on your own. The food came within a reasonable period of time. It was exactly what we ordered and it was hot and tasty. We were able to make use of some good deals which meant that eating here, even including alcoholic drinks, was for us about the same or even less than going to McDonalds. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean and presentable. There is a decent sized carpark. Also there is a children's play area but we didn't use this. All in all it was a good experience and I would happily return if I were in the area again. My only criticisms are minor. When we arrived there were a lot of used lunchtime crockery across tables but that was in the process of being cleared. Also the place looks like it could do with being given a bit of a revamp but in reality that is an unnecessary expense that would have to passed on to the customer.

Good for food. Good value for drinks too. The bar staff are bang on. Not dog friendly unfortunately. Can sit outside though with your pooch. Loads of car parking. Easy accessibility .

We have been to The Queen Eleanor a lot but this time was not a pleasant experience. When we arrived it was quite busy and we chose a table which was close to a large party of ladies with their children. These children were completely running riot, the mothers had no control over them, the more noise they made the louder the mothers shouted to be heard! Two boys were playing football and the shouting and screaming was unbelievable! It ruined our meal, we just ate as quickly as we could and then went and sat at the other end of the building, very disappointed.

Been staying here in the hotel for 6 weeks and ate in here every night. Food is good quality and cooked well. Staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. Frank, Dan, Martin, Laura and all the girls looked after us very well. I’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu now and I can highly recommend the Korean burger. If I’m ever in the area I would certainly return for a meal.

Member of staff on arrival walked away and ignored us we had booked a table so expected to be shown to our table .so we located the table ourselves .our starters arrived which was fine BUT halfway through our mains arrived ,they were just plonked on the table with no acknowledgement that we hadn't finished our starter, and waitress just walked off. We are regulars to this pub and normally food and service are superb so we're really disappointed on this occasion .

A popular busy pub and restaurant. We ate in the bar area, a few tables had been vacated but not cleared which limited our choice of table to sit at. The bar staff were friendly and and the waiting staff were efficient. Steaks were cooked too perfection.

Lovely little pub, friendly staff and a good food menu. It has a range of seating areas, so if you want to sit watch some sports, or be social around the bar or sit in a more quiet area you can. Free car parking round the back Small outdoor seating area.
