Had a fantastic experience. Got tattooed with Klara, one of the best anime artists I've come across. I got a custom Luna tattoo with adapted colours as my skin doesn't react well to purple. Brilliant artist, gentle, works in good time but doesn't rush. Sweet and pleasant to be around. Finished in two sessions, had to rearrange one and had no problem doing so. Responsive on Instagram and sent texts through recommending how to be prepared for sessions and best places to park nearby. All staff I spoke to were lovely and approachable. Staff were fantastic. They were very patient with my 13-year-old who was very nervous about getting her ears pierced for the first time, and she wondered what all the fuss was all about when it was done. Lost a star for running about 25 minutes late for our appointment, but that could be seen as a positive, as they took their time for each customer.

The best artists in Northampton. Always a great and friendly experience. Nice atmosphere in the studio. I wouldn’t ever consider going elsewhere.

Had most of my tattoos done here by Abbie and Klara, and have had absolutely beautiful results each time! All staff/artists are super welcoming and always make sure you’re comfortable. "Try Fat Fugu" someone said when were looking for a venue to hire for our Wedding reception/party. So we did and absolutely everything about it from start to finish was incredible! Chelsea our planner/organiser was nothing short of tremendous. Sorting out any issues we had and making sure we had everything we needed, absolutely bossing it. From the decorations, the service of the staff, the atmosphere to the last minute musician addition everything went as smooth as could be and played a part in us having the best day of our lives. The place is quirky and unique but most of all the very nature of the place lends itself to having a wonderful vibe. Our guests all had an awesome time but so many also commented on how amazing the venue was. I don't give out 5 stars easily but if I could this would be a 6 star review! Thank you Fat Fugu, you really gave us more than we ever expected

I’ve been with Ren for all of my tattoo’s she is experienced and only got better with time. She’s done a mixture of black and colour work. Mainly colour as per my preference. She listens to your ideas and is always good at coming up with ideas if your stuck. The shop is always welcoming and there seems to be a family vibe. But they are serious about there work, which shows in the details of the results.

I went into Fat Fugu today as a walk in for a piercing I’ve always wanted. I had such a weird and unprofessional experience that I will never go back there again, very unprofessional and I left feeling very unhappy & my energy completely thrown off due to the service and mannerism of the overall shop. The lady who offered the piercing services from the jump came across very blunt and hostile in conversation, baring in my mind this is the first time I’ve met her or visiting the shop for piercing. She seemed very frustrated and ‘funny’ towards me for absolutely no reason, the way she came across is very passive aggressive towards me as a customer. I continued with my appointment regardless as we went upstairs this kind of attitude continued to the point she made me feel so uncomfortable. I even had to stop her and ask her if she’s having a bad day and she said “it’s hot, mate” and I told her she’s making me feel uncomfortable. I don’t believe this was a very professional response and no valid rationale. I didn’t end up having the piercing due to personal reasons, not because of the service rendered and I’m quite happy I didn’t entrust my face with this lady. It could of just been a bad day for her, but, as a customer and even just as a person.. I didn’t have any appreciation towards the lack of respect and friendlessness. I would not recommend.

Had my first tattoo done here by Abbie and she is amazing. Made me feel so at ease and relaxed, I am so happy with my tattoo, it is so beautiful, I swore I’d only have one but I now have two and I’m looking forward to booking another! Wouldn’t go anywhere else, great staff and really friendly environment. Abbie is amazing xx

We're really helpful and througher. Even was a very small design was not rushed and was made to feel that everything was right before starting. Good after care advice. Great spot had drinks and a great table and chare area.

Been here a few times for piercings and a tattoo and I can’t recommend them enough - great customer service, the piercers and tattoo artists are all so talented and kind and the place itself is decorated beautifully

All the people that work at FFC are awesome, it's a really cool place. So friendly and helpful. Warm vibes and a chilled area to sit in. I always go for coffee and nose rings when I visit Northampton. When I am ready for a few tattoos I'll be coming here for sure :) X

Highly recommended they were great with my 9year olds first piercings on her actual birthday. They went above and beyond Aleen was absolutely 💯 lovely and accommodating!. Have recommended to everyone i know and a friends going next month too!!. Best ever experience especially if you have a nervous little one 🖤.

I went to see Aleen for a piercing on Saturday (Turkey/Syria flash day) and she was so lovely. Had a bit of a wobble afterwards where I felt lightheaded and Aleen was really professional and caring and made sure to lay me down and got me a lollipop and some water which was really appreciated and definitely stopped me from passing out!😅 even though the store was really busy Aleen made sure I was ok before I left. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a piercing!

I came here last Sunday and was tattooed by Mark. Even from the start of booking the appointment he was reassuring and made the booking process run smoothly. During the tattoo itself Mark was professional and consistently met the vibes by chatting with me, which made me feel calm and safe in the environment and provided solid tattoo aftercare advice. The tattoo came out incredible and I’m so pleased with it. The outline is smooth and the colours are vibrant. If you’re into neo traditional tattoos then Mark is your guy. 10/10 would book again with him :)

Excellent service here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Aleen who pierced my son (his first piercing). Hired out the Lounge for a private party on New Year’s Eve which was a joint Birthday party. From booking several months in advance, to arranging decorations to offering bespoke cocktail tree’s - this was such an easy process and the team couldn’t have done more to help me feel at ease, especially with planning for 40 people to arrive at once. When I arrived we were taken aback at how amazing the place looked, the team had gone all out and followed through on everything they said they would do and more. All the staff were attentive, lovely and made sure nobody was ever without a drink. The cocktails have always been a great price at Fat Fugu with 2 for £10 and we expected that to hike up for New Years - but they didn’t and we really appreciated that. We ended up playing with their huge range of games that they provided, listening and singing to music until the early hours and going out with the team to watch the fireworks in the street at midnight for the countdown. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better night - from beginning to end it was perfect and I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did in making all of our night one of the most memorable nights we’ve had as a group in years. If you get a chance, message them about booking for a private event. You won’t regret it. Best. Night. Ever.

When you go in the staff are immediately friendly and helpful, there are lovely seating areas with a bar and cafe that makes a very nice coffee using beans from Yellow Bourbon, a great local roaster. When I went for my piercing, the piercer was great at suggesting placement and made me feel comfortable. The whole space looked very clean and professional, will definitely be back again.

I would like to thank Fat Fugu- they recently let me host a World Mental Health Gig in their awesome lounge upstairs. The event itself was a huge success, we had a night of performers and speakers. They have a in-house PA with surround sound speakers so was well equipped for this event. They do gorgeous cocktails and they even did table service on the evening which was such a lovely touch. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the lounge itself is such a cool space and would definitely recommend it- thanks again!!

All of my tattoos and most of my piercings were done at Fat Fugu! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they make you feel very comfortable. Four of my tattoos have been done by Abbie and I am extremely satisfied with the results, she is very friendly and talented. I would definitely recommend and I will be coming back again!

Came in today with my niece to get our ears pierced. What a lovely experience from start to finish. We were all made to feel at ease. My niece is only 6 and was made to feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted and took the piercers advise and have left with the prettiest looking ear. Will deffo be returning. Such a nice vibe with very professional staff and an excellent range of jewellery to choose from. Also, lovely coffee! X

Tattoo didn't turn out like the reference design I sent across and can't say I'm that happy about the finished product sadly. I didn't know how it was going to turn out because i wasn't shown a design before or during the tattoo as nothing was drawn up beforehand even though I sent the reference images across like a year before the tattoo. I didn't enjoy been told to arrive at a certain time though my artist didn't arrive until a couple of hours after I arrived and wasn't prepared then to tattoo so I had to wait even longer for them to get ready. Non of the staff at the front let me know the artist was running late or let me know what was happening. When I booked in a day for £600 I thought I'd be getting tattooed for me than 4 hours as when they said it was an all day session I didn't expect that to mean waiting around for ages. Been two times before and had little tattoo and they were great, just kinda sad how this one turned out and how everything was so unprepared. In reply to your reply. No design was drawn up before the tattoo started and it was being edited as she went along.

Done my first facial piercing (snake bites) here and I'm SO amazed of how professional, well placed, quick and painless they were done, even on walk in basis! I will definitely come again to get other things done! Can't recommend more! Bit sad it's cash only considering covid and stuff but still, 5 stars!

The Amazing Mira did an absolutely amazing job of reworking / fixing a Tattoo I had originally done elsewhere and I'm overjoyed with the result. The staff are all very friendly, Helpful, professional and do their best to make your experience is a good one. I will definitely be returning for more work in the future, in fact I'm already planning my next visit! Thankyou to all at FAT FUGU especially Mira.

Aleen (I believe that’s her name!) is such a wonderful piercer, very kind and attentive. She did my first piercing a few years back, and due to how great she was, I returned back again today, and she was just as fab as I had remembered her. Great lady and great shop, thanks!

Was very happy with this Venue both upstairs and down. Upstairs provide great seating and decking downstairs is very ambient and stylish. Cocktails are lovely favorite strawberry mojito, they do fish bowl giveaways and live music all in all 10/10

The place is awesome. Staff are really friendly, interior design is in a stylish dark way you'd expect from a tattoo place with cool a bar layout too. They make a big effort here to make the place have a cool ambience. The tattoo artist was amazing talented polite and easy to talk too and I got a tattoo that I was really pleased with it looks incredible.

Lovely tattoists who are extremely talented and make fantastic pieces of art. Friendly atmosphere. Very expensive and will charge you £200 just for the deposit. Had to pay in full twice to have my tattoo done over two different appointments because I couldn't finish it in a day. Nearly fainted with my second tattoo and staff took 30 minutes to get me some water and something to increase my blood sugars. Very happy with both my tattoos however, positive experience but let down in some areas.

Went here to get my 6 year old daughter and 9 year old sons ears pierced. I have to say a very professional and friendly service! The lady at the desk was lovely and Aleen who did the piercings was fantastic with my children I 100% recommend this place. My six year old even mentioned after we left how nice everyone was.

Went in to inquire about a tatoo gave a pic and was told I would be contacted with a date and price. Waited a week didn't hear anything so called and got told the designs had been sent to the artists and I would be contacted in the next few days. Waited another week and heard nothing so went in person. Was waiting at reception as someone in front of me. Wasn't acknowledged at all by the two members of staff there. They fi ished with the customer and then walked away. Again without acknowledgement of me. Think I'm going to go somewhere else...
