recently
stayed
at
Hotel
International
Inn
and
my
overall
experience
was
a
bit
of
a
mixed
bag.
While
the
hotel
had
its
merits,
there
were
some
notable
issues
that
affected
my
stay.
Let's
start
with
the
positive
aspects.
The
hotel's
ambiance
and
decor
were
impressive,
creating
a
welcoming
atmosphere
upon
arrival.
The
staff
members
were
friendly
and
attentive,
always
ready
to
assist
with
any
queries.
However,
the
positives
largely
end
there.
One
significant
drawback
was
the
condition
of
the
room.
The
duvet
provided
was
shockingly
stained,
which
was
not
only
unsightly
but
also
quite
concerning
from
a
hygiene
standpoint.
The
bed,
unfortunately,
did
not
provide
the
comfort
one
would
expect
from
a
hotel
of
this
caliber.
It
sagged
noticeably,
resulting
in
a
poor
night's
sleep
and
even
contributing
to
back
pain.
To
add
to
the
discomfort,
the
telephone
in
the
room
was
not
functioning
properly.
This
made
communication
with
the
hotel
staff
and
room
service
inconvenient,
as
I
had
to
resort
to
using
my
mobile
phone
for
any
requests
or
queries.
A
non-functional
telephone
is
a
basic
amenity
that
should
be
promptly
addressed
in
any
hotel.
Additionally,
I
found
the
cab
charges
arranged
by
the
hotel
for
transportation
outside
the
premises
to
be
exorbitant.
While
I
understand
that
convenience
comes
at
a
price,
the
steep
charges
for
a
relatively
short
distance
left
me
feeling
somewhat
exploited
as
a
guest.
The
buffet
breakfast
left
much
to
be
desired.
The
quality
of
the
food
fell
short
of
expectations,
with
a
lack
of
freshness
and
variety.
It's
disheartening
when
a
crucial
aspect
of
the
stay,
such
as
breakfast,
fails
to
meet
basic
standards.
What
was
particularly
surprising
and
disappointing
was
the
revelation
that
several
hotels
in
the
same
street
shared
a
common
restaurant
for
their
buffet
breakfast.
A
subpar
buffet
breakfast
can
significantly
impact
a
guest's
perception
of
the
entire
stay.
In
conclusion,
while
Hotel
International
Inn
has
its
merits
in
terms
of
aesthetics
and
staff
hospitality,
the
issues
with
the
room's
maintenance,
the
malfunctioning
telephone,
the
buffet
breakfast
service
and
the
high
cab
charges
significantly
impacted
the
overall
quality
of
my
stay.
I
hope
the
management
takes
these
concerns
seriously
and
addresses
them
to
ensure
a
more
satisfactory
experience
for
future
guests.
