Appalled
at
the
discraceful
DISABILITY
Faciities
here
in
2022.
Although
the
staff
were
pleasant
and
helpful
we
were
made
to
feel
like
second
class
citizens
because
of
my
husbands
disability
and
left
feeling
like
rejects
of
society.
On
asking
for
men’s
shorts
we
were
directed
upstairs
(
no
lift)
a
genuine
mistake
on
a
staff
members
part
,
then
found
some
downstairs.
Directed
upstairs
again
for
changing
room
but
halfway
up
remembered
a
downstairs
changing
room
so
husband
had
to
be
manhandled
back
down
stairs
as
no
stair
railing
on
bottom
6
rungs
of
stairs.
Staff
kindly
helped
but
his
dignity
was
badly
damaged
as
independence
to
shop
himself
is
very
much
desired.
The
tiny
fitting
room
at
back
had
no
seat
,
staff
member
searched
hard
to
find
one.
Second
larger
fitting
room
full
of
boxes
so
he
had
to
change
in
dirty
storeroom
with
no
curtain
while
I
blocked
the
door.
A
customer
outside
made
it
very
obvious
that
she
wanted
a
staff
member
to
find
shoes
for
her
in
store
room
and
staff
member
unable
to
enter
as
as
he
was
in
his
underwear.
He
was
terribly
embarrassed,
felt
a
nuisance
and
a
second
class
citizen
and
we
left
in
tears.
Although
staff
tryed
to
help
the
facilities
here
at
Mountain
Warehouse
do
not
allow
disabled
people
to
be
independent,
having
been
manhandled
and
sat
in
an
open
storeroom.
Absolutely
disgusting
treatment
Mountain
Warehouse.
Senior
Management
should
be
throughly
ashamed
of
themselves.
Shame
on
you.
We
have
never
been
treated
like
this
before
in
the
whole
2
years
my
husband
has
had
his
stroke.
He
fought
so
hard
to
walk
again
and
be
self
caring
you
have
completely
destroyed
the
work
of
our
wonderful
NHS
and
his
struggle
in
an
instant.
If
you
are
Disabled
avoid
this
Store
like
the
plague.
