What a great experience. Nice to have upscale dining in the area. Everything was clean. A great menu with a variety of options and price points. Service was great and helpful. They knew the menu well and clearly did an amazing job at training. They were attentative, timely, and helpful. I ordered a steak sandwich and was amazed by the cut, qualityand prep. Cooked to perfection!!! The taco salad was gorgeous and delicious. Large portions. Fantastic steak fries!!!! Can't wait to comeback!!!!

New restaurant in downtown Genoa. The patty melt was excellent. It was cooked to order and served on marble rye bread with steak fries. The cole slaw was delicious too.

Main Street Bar and Grill has taken on an area that is always in need of great food and great service. Today was the first time my wife and I had the opportunity to try them out. When you enter the location you are greeted with a friendly smile and a phrase that I am not use to hearing "welcome" that was great to hear. When you walk around the big wall you are greeted with a very open dining area with a bar that is very nicely layed out. The waitress that we had was very nice. Ordering the food was a dream due to the waitress was paying attention to every detail we asked and wanted. Once we got our food you can see that the portion size was great and not to little. The food was fresh and not freezer burned or overly greasy. Everything had great flavor and the marinara tasted homemade compared to other places in the area that taste premade. I hope whomever reads this will please give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

This is our second time here, and the food has been great each time. It hasn't been busy either time. The server was attentive, and not overbearing. A little pricey especially for a small town. $53 for 3 sandwiches, 2 beers and a soda. Their credit card machine was down, which we weren't told of until it was time to pay, had to walk to the gas station to get cash.

We’ve ordered from there several times, and my husband and I both think it’s excellent. My husband loves the char broiled steak sandwich, and I like everything on their menu. I recently tried their pizza and it was delish! Owners are super nice and friendly!

Very good. I'm from Indianapolis and was visiting Genoa with someone who had dined recently and raved about the food, especially the French onion soup. She was absolutely right. Had the soup and sliders - both just great. I wish I had the opportunity to try other menu items. I did take home to Indy not one, but two orders of the soup. Even leftover, it was so good.

The absolute best quality food you can find in the area. I was so impressed with their main street burger.

We went today for lunch, a party of four (three adults and one child). They kept a lot of the elements of the old restaurant that used to be there, which is great as the decor and layout are simple, except the half wall by the front door, it makes entering and exiting a bit cramped - consider getting rid of it. The restaurant is split into two sections, and we were given the opportunity to sit near the cashier's station/pick up area or to the right, which has a more open layout and restaurant type feel. There's no good way to bring the restaurant completely together because of the staircase that bisects it due to the apartments upstairs, so it feels a bit...jarring. The service is great. Our waitress was quick, efficient and friendly. She offered us different drinks when the iced tea didn't turn out so well (it tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile), and our food came out quickly. The food is great. The onion rings were perfect, the ranch dressing, good. The kid's chicken tenders and fries got a vote of approval from the child, and our burgers (Swiss and mushroom, plain, and bacon) arrived quickly and with that nice smoky, char-grilled taste. The fries were alright, coleslaw, good. The atmosphere is a little sterile, but as time goes on and the restaurant gains popularity, I can see that changing at nights and weekends. And any place with a jukebox will always get points from me. The price for the food is comparable to other places in the area, and value/portion size for price is great. We went home stuffed, and $67 for four people plus an app (no alcohol ordered) is fair for me. Overall, this was a great experience and we will definitely be returning. Welcome to Genoa!

Dinner for 4. Everything we tried was wonderful and everyone left full! Highly recommend the Philly Steak sandwich and the french onion soup - both were delicious. Staff was great and super helpful! We'll definitely be back!
