Stayed one night, overall it was okay. The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location and the staff was friendly. I'm not sure if I would stay again though for the price. Our room was decorated nice, but there was dust everywhere. It seems like no one stayed in our room for awhile and it was neglected while cleaning. As you can see in my pictures, there was a thick coat of dust all over. Pretty disappointed as I didn't feel like the room was cleaned properly. There also wasn't a microwave in the room which would have been nice. It was fine for a night, but not sure I'd return.

I totally enjoyed my stay at Saint Kate. Pro -The service was great! -The room was clean and comfy. There were complementary water bottles and the toiletries were super cute. -There is art everywhere! -Each floor has access to coffee, tea and water. - The fitness center is decent; has the necessary to get a good work out. Also there was access to water bottles and disposable earphones. - Location is great. There are many place to visit walking distance: restaurants, Fiserv forum, the art museum, the River walk. - The reception and bar area have the best atmosphere, there was live music on Friday (not sure if every week or I got lucky) Cons - Parking is expensive, 30$/night. Only good thing is the in&out privilege. I guess is worth the location.

Have you ever spent a night at an Art Gallery? Well, after staying at Saint Kate, I must say that I have. I came here for the night since I was running a 5K on Saturday morning. I have been running races in Wisconsin since 2014 and always loved staying at different hotels. I decided to try Saint Kate out and wow it didn't disappoint. If you have been to Milwaukee downtown hotels, you probably experienced some difficulty in finding parking especially on Friday or Saturday nights. Well, knowing this I called Saint Kate as I was about 20 minutes away from the hotel. The front desk, gentleman, Anthony, answered the phone and reassured me that there is parking at the hotel on both sides of it. 20 minutes later I was happily parked in the garage. As I took the elevator up to the hotel, I was impressed with the cleanliness of everything, and once I walked in to Saint Kate I felt like I was at the Art Gallery. They literary have an art gallery there and so many unique and interesting masterpieces of various artists. Anthony greeted me at the front desk. the check in time was less than 5 minutes, which was impressive since the lobby and bar area was packed. I went upstairs to the 3rd floor in beautiful elevators with 3D artwork and was blown away by my room. It's literary an art gem. The pictures attached don't do it justice and if you are ever in Milwaukee, I would highly recommend for you to check it out yourself. Probably the most unique place I have ever stayed in, and I stay in hotels every other weekend during winter/spring. I was so impressed that I told my gymnastics team about this gem and some of them will most likely be staying here in February along with already three reserved rooms for my friends and coaches, including myself of course. Thank you to the following people. Anthony - assisting in parking, checking me in and sending up maintenance to fix my TV. Lamont - maintenance magician. When I stayed at Saint Kate the TV wasn't working, Lamont arrived to my room in less than 10 minutes, reset the TV. stepped out and came back in exactly 10 minutes, as promised, to make sure everything was working fine. We had a lovely conversation with him and he told me that maintenance is more than fixing things it's also about making the best stay for the guests. Well, Lamont thanks to you my stay was impeccable. Marty and Gayle from Proof Pizza - for their fast and friendly service. It was toward the end of their shift and the pizza place inside the restaurant was closing soon. Marty and Gayle were amazing and had the energy as if they just started working even though they've been at work all day. Thank you! Haley - front desk receptionist who checked me out of my room and assisted me in modifying and adding a reservations in a few weeks. Elizabeth - front desk. After I ran my 5K this morning and won both raffle and my division I decided to sign up with them again for their race in March. Well, the location was about 20 minutes away from Milwaukee and I called Elizabeth right away to book my stay. She was incredible. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful experience. I am so excited for my friend/students/family to check out this place and I definitely can't wait to stay here again. Thank you!

Trendy decor with very friendly staff in a great location! Rooms feature modern design with Kohler sink and toilet, and are very spacious. Each room even includes a turntable, and you can borrow vinyl albums from the front desk. Staff was extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. Great location too! I gave the room 4 out of 5 stars as there were hairs on the floor in the bathroom and shower which the housekeeping team had missed. But otherwise rooms were very clean. Only downside is there is not an option for valet parking. However, the self-park parking structure is conveniently located right next door. Will definitely stay at Saint Kate again when in Milwaukee!

WOW, is all I can say. I did not have the pleasure of staying the night but I was hired by a client traveling from Philadelphia to set up a room for her husband birthday and the hotel was literally like an art museum. Each floor had a complimentary coffee bar, the staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and so interesting. I definitely plan to book for myself in the future.

Not only is the hotel itself stunning with multiple restaurant choices, a fantastic bar, and top-notch local artworks on display, but the room itself was a sight to behold. While some of the items are more "gimmicky" they play into the overall artistic aesthetic and coziness. The bed and bathroom were nice with all the little details paid attention to. I will absolutely be returning to this hotel if I ever visit Milwaukee again!

Great location in the theater district. Walk to restaurants. Great lobby bar 🍸. Ben the bellman not only did his regular duties but, fetched me a champagne bucket, ice, and load the fridge for us. Ania at the front desk was awesome and so was Jaclyn at the bar. Beautiful Hotel but the service made it memorable. Thank you

My boyfriend booked a night for my birthday to surprise me and we had such a wonderful time! Definitely worth the money. Service desk was very accommodating, it was cool to have the parking option since parking downtown is a nightmare, and the food was delicious!

Such an interesting hotel to stay in! Art work caught your eye with color and texture. The location was great so one could walk to downtown, the lakefront, and to the vast array of restaurants in the area. Staff was so wonderful. They were always friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with neat decor that went along with the theme of the hotel. Every room had a ukulele and colored pencils! Even the fitness room was very clean with updated machines and cardio equipment with the added bonus of sweat towels (which came in very handy!). Happy with my stay there and view from my room was very nice too!

If not for one detail, this hotel would be PERFECT. The decor, service, vibe...all more than deserve 5 stars. The people are nice, the bed is super comfy, the artwork, spectacular. However, the walls are paper thin. Granted, when we called the front desk after a very loud and easily heard experience next door, they were quick to speak with the couple but we heard every word and every sound. Very uncomfortable to say the least. Not sure how this beautiful hotel is going to remedy this but they really need to. Go for a drink, go for the amazing gallery, go for the impeccable and kind service, do not go if you want a quiet night's sleep.

The staff was fantastic, I left my key in my room repeatedly and they were helpful kind about it. Room was clean, bed was comfy, good pressure in the shower. Art everywhere!! In your room (the face was in 424), in the public area, in the bathroom. Take $5 cash to buy some art from the repurposed cigarette machine. Location was awesome.

We specifically chose this hotel to spend a weekend away celebrating our anniversary and we left... inspired? Amazed? From the customer service, recommendations, and an AMAZING bathroom (inspired our own home bathroom remodel) the beds were the perfect firmness and there was no cutting corners to create every perfect detail from the music selections, colored pencils, ect. Only complaint is that there were a few times where we heard some rather "noisy" neighbors but hey - with a hotel this amazing I'd be screaming in delight too.

A lovely boutique hotel experience in Milwaukee! A bit pricey the weekend of our visit (prices were elevated everywhere given the events going on that weekend), but a welcome departure from the standard chain hotels. I loved exploring the art on exhibit downstairs, and appreciated the excellent coffee machines in the hallway and the complimentary bubbles on arrival. I hope to stay here again next time I'm in the Brew City!

I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars. The grounds are absolutely stunning. This hotel is basically a free art gallery that you are staying on. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a high level of professional. Loved the champagne greeting it truly starts off your check in with that extra pizazz. They have an amazing pizza restaurant in house. The rooms are just gorgeous, spacious and the hotel is at a great location. My kids loved the record player in the room and were able to experience something that was so normal to me growing up! We had drinks at the bar while listening to great live music in the evening. I can not recommend this hotel enough!! Saint Kate you're doing an amazing job!! Can't wait to come back!

Check-in experience was a breeze, the receptionists were very welcoming and made sure to ask if there was anything they can do to make my experience better. After checking into my room I decided to order an appetizer from the bar. My server/bartender, Eder, was super helpful! I told him that I wanted something quick to go back to my room and call it a night, he told me his favorites and I ended up ordering the appetizer meatballs (not his top suggestion but still said it was good for a quick to-go). I'm very happy to have met Eder during my time at Saint Kate!

Loved our stay at the Saint Kate! We came to Milwaukee for the first time for a wedding and this was a fantastic hotel most guests stayed at. The bar, service, vibe, and really everything was great. Loved that there are free water and coffee stations on every floor!

I love this hotel. I stopped in for drinks on a previous visit to Milwaukee. I enjoyed the vibe and wanted to return for a stay. I finally got the opportunity this year. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent and my stay was comfortable, fun, and filled with beautiful art.

This was an amazing trip and stay! The staff was super helpful and nice with any questions I had, and greeting us when we arrived. The amenities I purchased were ready when we arrived, and the room was super clean and fun! If you love art this is the place to stay! It’s truly one of a kind! We also enjoyed the in-room dining, delicious and great service! The bar downstairs was great to sit and enjoy, the art gallery was so interesting and full of fun art! It’s right across from the ice skating park and it was great to go and skate! A lot of the things we wanted to see were within walking distance of our hotel, and parking was super easy in the garage! Great, and hopefully will revisit soon! :)

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Saint Kate a couple of months ago and it exceeded our expectations. This boutique hotel is very unique and charming. It has a beautiful lobby, cocktail bar and restaurant. The rooms were also very unique and tastefully decorated, showcasing a combination of modern amenities and vintage flair. The staff was attentive, and genuinely friendly. The location of the hotel was another standout feature. Situated in a prime area, within walking distance to multiple theaters and many excellent restaurants and cocktail bars. I highly recommend this boutique hotel for anyone seeking a unique and charming experience in a fantastic location.

Wow! This hotel is amazing. The moment our family of 7 entered, we were treated like treasured guests. Matthew at the front is so kind and gave us so much wonderful information. The art could keep you entertained for hours.Juan at the bar went the extra mile to get a specific bourbon for me from storage and the whole bar staff is just so capable and friendly. Also, the live music in the bar is excellent. Now for the amazing pizza at Proof Pizza attached to the hotel. Jordan and Alex were so helpful, friendly and served the BEST pizza.

The Saint Kate thrives on making sure you are well taken care of, from champagne when you arrive, delivering bags to your room so you don't have to, to calling you to see if there is anything they can do to improve your stay. We have stayed at Saint Kate 3 times and don't ever plan on switching hotels! This time we stayed at Saint Kate for 6 days. When we booked our stay we had the option to add on breakfast for each day, which we took advantage of! My absolute favorite was Avocado toast and Greek yogurt with fruit. So yummy and so filling! I ordered both the first time and my husband had to help me finish! For lunch we had chopped chicken salad, we ate it so fast we forgot to take pictures! If you stay here you will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I came up from Chicago for a single night date night here. It absolutely blew us away. The comfiest, most beautifully curated hotel experience I’ve ever had in the states. The STAFF - went above and beyond to find my husband Tums the next morning (😂). They are all SO friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable and easy. (Thanks, DAN & PAIGE!) The 12 pm standard checkout time was an absolute dream. The vinyl in the rooms were such a thoughtful touch. Free water bottles in the rooms. Easiest parking experience. The galleries are top notch as well. I cannot say better things about our 24 hours here.

My pregnant wife was gestational diabetes and we ordered room service at 630am it is now 746 am and our food has not arrived we have attempted to contact the front desk several times and they can't even get a hold of their own kitchen. To make matters worse, there is no walkable restaurants open at this time in the area. I do not recommend this place to anyone who needs food or is pregnant since staff was dismissive of our complaints.

The hotel has an interesting structure. Artworks enrich the entrance and make it unique. The room is not very spacious and the bathroom is small, however, the bed was comfortable. What was really negative, was the service at both the Aria restaurant and the breakfast bar. At the restaurant Aria we waited almost an hour to receive our appetizers and in the morning for the breakfast, the coffee we ordered arrived after half an hour. We had to say that we were in a hurry to try to speed up the service. In both situations, there were absolutely not that many clients. An hotel of this level cannot have such poor service. Too bad!

We adore Saint Kate and are so happy that we got to host our wedding there. We recommend to all to visit The Bar and check out their art and live music (it’s free!). If you are planning to host an event, we recommend you really consider the type of event you are throwing and your budget. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Saint Kate–and this extends to the valets, staff at The Bar, housekeeping, etc. Everyone is so professional, friendly, and seems genuinely happy to be there.

Very meh. It's a nice building, great art work and clean rooms. However, for the price we paid I expected much better. As other reviewers have pointed out - the walls are paper thin. To the extent you can hear regular conversation word for word. We had rooms either side of us that were up until 3am until someone called security. The wifi is incredibly slow to the extent it was largely unusable. The bar in the lobby is great but was massively understaffed - took 30 minutes to get a drink.

By the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, and I’ve been many nice ones around the world. From check in to check out, we received impeccable service. The lobby bar was always bustling with either live music or a DJ. The on site restaurants were great, the rooms were clean, and of course, the ART!! I seriously could go on! You will have to experience this Gem for yourself!! I can’t wait to go back!! Someone mentioned that the walls are thin, and I would have agree, but that definitely wasn’t enough to take away from our practically perfect experience.

My husband surprised me with a night away from the kids and booked a package at Saint Kate - I'm a big fan of boutique hotels and really enjoyed the art exhibits on the main level and second floor. The check-in experience was smooth - the complimentary champagne glass was a nice touch! The room was clean and fun - we had a record player and ukelele - and it was more like a suite than a standard room. Loved the Kohler fixtures in the room, and the bed was very comfortable - soft, silky sheets and excellent pillows. We had a drink at the bar and ate in Aria and had a great experience at both, thanks to Bridget and Nichole. They even recommended a great cocktail bar that we ended up going to later on that evening. The coffee bar by the elevators also makes a lot more sense than the individual coffee makers in the room. Overall, an excellent stay - we would happily stay there again!

I was an attendant at a wedding here and had a very lovely experience as a guest. The complimentary champagne at check in was nice, and I appreciated the music touches in my room. This was the best food I had at a wedding in a very long time, and every staff member I came into contact with (front desk and events) was professional and pleasant. It is definitely on the pricy side but a very enjoyable stay.

The entire staff at the Saint Kate is AMAZING! Mike in security has made us feel welcome several times and we feel like family whenever we come. The staff is amazing, top to bottom. Lobby bar is my favorite downtown and the art never disappoints. Thank you for being a regular part of our lives. We had our wedding there years ago and still feel welcome over a decade later.

Guys, there are trippy video art installations in the elevators! The entirety of the hotel feels like an art gallery - all the way down to the bathrooms. There are several individual art galleries to explore inside. The rooms are spacious and just as beautifully decorated as the rest of the hotel. The view of the city was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Milwaukee. P.S. There's a sculpture in the hotel dining space that will make you look twice...

  • 5/5 Jonathan F. 1 year ago on Google
Right in the heart of Milwaukee. The hotel is gorgeous. Filled with art from floor to ceiling. There is a gallery on site that showcases local artists and there is an artist in residence too. The rooms are super comfortable with great mattresses and pillows. Each room has a ukulele and a record player. The service is 5 stars wonderful. My only ding was that the bathroom got very wet from the shower.

Call me impressed! The hotel and the rooms are beautiful. I love all the unique little touches around the room such as the record player and ukulele. And they are not just for decorations. There are actual records you can play. Rooms are super clean. Highly recommend!

Very clean and well running. Terrific sleep! The bed, the sheets and pillows were amazing! Great shower pressure and temperature. All the staff were helpful and kind. I really liked the coffee stand with artisan water on every floor as it was well stocked and clean 24/7. The art in the hotel is gorgeous and the bar area is arranged perfectly with lots of windows.

  • 5/5 MM M. 2 years ago on Google
Our stay @ Saint Kate was wonderful! The hotel itself is conveniently located, not to mention gorgeous. Room was clean with a great view. We had breakfast in the lobby & the barista was kind and efficient. Food was great. 10/10 would recommend.

  • 5/5 Amber R. 2 years ago on Google
This hotel isn’t just luxurious, it’s fun! The art decor throughout the hotel makes for a unique experience no matter where you are. The rooms have paper and colored pencils, and a real working turntable that you can play actual albums on. Separate seating area from the bedroom, with beautiful architectural windows. There isn’t coffee in the room, but each floor has its own coffee station by the elevators. A truly enjoyable and unique experience very different from the “generic” hotel experience.
