I
did
not
even
have
a
chance
to
use
the
gym
as
I
contracted
covid
the
week
I
joined.
By
the
third
week
I
had
cancelled
my
membership,
even
though
I
was
recovered
and
ready
to
get
to
it,
as
the
owner
Marco
was
not
helpful
in
the
slightest
when
it
came
to
a
debit
issue
they
were
having
on
THEIR
end.
I
sent
screenshots
of
my
card
balance
and
bank
account
balance,
obviously
not
trying
to
rip
off
the
gym
in
my
first
week
of
membership,
but
Marco
said
there
was
nothing
he
could
do
and
insisted
it
was
insufficient
funds.
I
sent
another
screenshot
of
my
card
balance
on
the
day
of
the
debit
which
held
roughly
12x
the
fee
they
were
trying
to
take
out.
I
even
included
the
card
screenshot
with
the
available
balance
and
showing
the
card
number
to
confirm
it
was
correct.
I
request
that
Marco
cancel
my
membership
and
stated
in
writing
that
I
would
pay
for
the
weeks
I
held
the
membership,
but
not
the
penalty
fees
which
were
double
the
membership
cost
as
I
had
proven
time
and
again
that
the
failure
was
not
my
fault
but
rather
their
provider
"EziDebit".
Rather
than
accept
this,
one
week
goes
by
from
last
contact
and
I
receive
a
letter
from
a
Collection
Agency!!
After
one
week!
And
for
3
weeks
worth
of
fees
that
I
have
agreed
to
pay
for
when
my
membership
is
cancelled
to
avoid
further
exorbitant
penalties
so
they
can
line
their
pockets.
Worst
gym
experience
of
my
life,
I
was
with
Anytime
Fitness
down
the
road
for
4
years
with
not
one
single
payment
issue.
Will
be
going
back
there
once
my
complaint
with
the
ACCC
has
been
settled.
Dont
join
here,
if
your
bank
account
has
the
same
kind
of
(unknown
to
you)
block
on
a
specific
debit,
you
will
be
referred
to
a
collection
agency
in
a
week.
A
gym
is
supposed
to
be
such
a
tool
for
mental
wellbeing,
this
gym
is
anything
but.
I
have
been
incredibly
stressed
and
constantly
harassed.
Even
picking
up
the
gym
key
fob
was
a
nightmare,
no
one
answers
their
phones
when
you
call
and
the
doors
are
locked
even
during
staffed
hours
so
you
have
to
stand
outside
waiting
for
someone
to
hopefully
open
the
door.
Edit
1:
the
last
email
received
to
my
membership
email
address
is
on
the
7th,
if
you
have
used
another
email
that
is
not
on
my
account
but
that
I
used
to
send
screenshots
of
my
bank
account,
note
that
is
a
work
email
as
mentioned
and
not
monitored
when
I
am
not
working,
neither
is
my
work
phone.
I
have
responded
to
every
email
received
to
my
membership
email
in
a
timely
manner
and
no,
Marco
did
not
remove
all
fees,
this
is
a
direct
quote
from
his
email
“
We
have
already
waived
fees
in
past
from
what
i
can
see
and
the
system
will
not
allow
me
to
do
any
further
until
the
amount
outstanding
is
paid.”
…
this
is
not
what
you
have
said
in
your
reply.
As
I
already
said
above,
I
didn’t
want
to
be
charged
all
fees
when,
for
the
tenth
time,
it
is
a
failure
of
the
payment
system
and
you
have
solid
proof
in
the
form
of
two
screenshots
from
my
personal
bank
that
matches
account
info
you
have,
that
money
was
there
and
waiting.
What
you
gave
me
was
the
option
to
chase
the
fees
myself
with
ezidebit,
when
I
should
not
have
to
phone
them
to
remove
fees
that
you
are
charging
me
incorrectly.
Why
do
I
have
to
do
so
much
work
on
the
admin
side
to
chase
something
that
is
not
my
fault?
As
said
I
have
emailed
back
to
all
emails
on
my
membership
address
very
timely
and
this
review
has
been
written
because
you
go
to
a
debt
collector
for
a
one
week
old
debt.
It’s
pathetic
and
your
customers
should
know
the
dangers
of
signing
anything
with
you
Edit
2:
So
shocked
that
I
reviewed
your
business
so
poorly
when
I
was
referred
to
debt
collection,
who
wouldn't
be
upset
by
that?
Its
a
very
valid
reason
to
review
a
business
poorly,
as
it
means
I
rate
your
"business"
at
1
(0
really).
By
your
own
log,
you
did
not
email
my
personal
email
at
all
after
the
date
I
referenced
which
is
the
only
email
on
my
account.
For
a
reason.
I
do
not
always
have
access
to
work
email
and
this
is
why
it
was
not
listed
as
approved
contact
on
my
account.
No
need
for
little
quips,
I
don't
doubt
my
approach
as
I
have
never
had
an
issue
previously,
anywhere.
