Incredibly friendly staff. Richie the marina owner is especially welcoming to first time boat visitors and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. There is a well equipped general store and bottle shop with food (including fresh meat), alcohol, fishing equipment, personal items, cleaning supplies and everything else you might need. There is also a laundromat and hot showers, a clothes shop and a cheeky little cafe that serves good quality and hearty food much of it from local produce. Highly recommended.

Marina store and fuel. Super surly service, expensive, and the fuel prices are almost 60 cents more (for a boat) than anywhere on or around the river. Petrol is high at the moment but this is ridiculous. As of writing this review Premium Unleaded was $2.60 here. $1.99 at Brooklyn Marina. As you walk through marina it looks tired and very dirty. I wouldn't have mined if the experience was decent. Won't be stopping through again.

This is the second time we have rented the penthouse with friends and highly recommend. Everything is at your doorstep. The penthouses are superb. Excellent inclusions and clean. You don't have to drive anywhere. There is seafood, several restaurants, hire boats for fishing or BBQ boats available for hire and jet ski hire. Ritchie and staff cannot do enough for you and highly recommend for a nice quiet getaway with friends or family. The Jewell penthouse has 3 beds all with large ensuites for your privacy, with huge verandah lots of sitting areas and bbq to cater for 6 people as well as an indoor fire for cold days. Not too far to travel. Will definitely be back as it has everything you would want and nothing was too much trouble. gorgeous area, easily accessed by train or car. Plenty of eateries, ferry trips to Danger Island. Morings available if you visit via boat ⛴

The food here was yummy but bit expensive. Very few vegetarian options. I tried burger(they charge extra for fries with it). It was delicious. The view was amazing.

Fantastic experience. Had alot of fun. The crew were amazing. I definitely recommend it. 2.5 hours jetskiing so much fun.

Idyllic situation with plenty of action going on. The staff are very helpful, and friendly, although they are very busy, but will chat with you when the pressure is off. They always seem to be running from place to place and rarely walk unless they have at least one phone to their ear and another in their hand. The internet wasn't working properly, but that was Telstra's fault. We had a relaxing and enjoyable 4 days and will be back. Patrick

Wow what a place!!!!! Spent a few days in the penthouse apartment to spend out while on our fishing getaway and we could not have wished for a better experience. Great views .. awesome apartment and most importantly the best and friendliest staff and management team i have ever experienced. The marina manager Richie did everything to make us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. He completely went out of his way to surpass our expectations. Highly highly recommended for your next trip away. Thanks richie and the team and see you all again real soon.

A lovely river spot with great friendly locals. Be inspired take a river boat ride. Visit the cafe or bring your picnic. Had a great day visiting with friends.

Came here with a mate needing fuel for his PWC. Looks a good place to tie up if there is a free spot and go have a coffee or lunch at the cafe. [Must enquire as not sure as to the situation compared to say Akuna Bay which welcomes you with open arms and has dedicated pontoon visitor spaces to tie up. Must give Richie a call]. Back in February 2023 I did the 2.5-hour Jet Ski Safari with my brilliant guide Manny to the Spencer Cafe. Best time of my life. Got the GoPro video which I regularly play back. It was so good a month later I even went up to the Gold Coast at both Jet Ski Safaris, and Gold Coast Water sports. Now I have my own Jet Ski which in 4 months I've racked up some 61 hours on the beautiful Hawkesbury River. Slightly different than my stand-up jet skis of the mid 90’s, and my slow noisy Quintrex 430 Escape some 10 years ago. So, get across to the Jet Ski Safaris NSW Google Review page as everyone who rides the GTX Pro Sea-Doo PWC’s has the ride of their life and want to do it again and again! As for visiting the cafe/restaurant for lunch ~ I'll post up those details on my next visit.
