I ordered butter chicken curry with rice in a takeaway as a dinner and this is what I've got. ONE TINY PIECE OF CHICKEN for $14.90. I called the restaurant to double check whether there was any mistake, but only response I heard was it is normally served with one piece of chicken for the meal and it is instructed from their boss. And they wanted me to come back all the way back to the store if I want another piece of chicken. The greatest way to finish off a weekend. 👏👏👏

Never really liked it. Tried it again because a friend recommended it, but was pretty disappointed. Wouldn't recommend, won't be going again. Quick update, this food has made me very very sick. The worst I've gotten because of food.

THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD. ZERO STARS!! We order Paneer Makhni and this is what we got. It’s basically a few pieces of paneer in what looks like a juice. I’m not even sure how to eat this .. Should I even eat it? Just a disgrace in the name of Indian food. ZERO STARS!

Today i went there wid my family and had worst service ever where staff is working wid lots of attitude with no smile. Seems like working under pressure and dont know what they are doing takinh wrong oders and when i ask them this is not what i actually odered and staff simply said that you have not explained me clearly then i said that's why you are here to explain me. Staff needs to learn how to do perfecr customer service. Will never ever be back here again..

Extremely poor service I have experienced today from the restaurant. Neither I will buy again nor recommend anyone to this restaurant. I would give zero rating if I could.

The food tasted good. But that didn't make up for the wrong prices listed on the menu online. We ordered takeaway meals, calculated it to be $55 and on pick up got charged $72.50... when we called to ask to confirm prices, they listed all the "correct" prices and even after that they had still overcharged us $3. But they didn't seem to care... Seems a bit dodgy. Confusing hidden charges...

Taj Indian and the team have been the best caterers for all our family events for last 18 years. Delicious food and very friendly and professional service has made our family and friends very happy every time we have catered with Taj Indian. Last weekend they helped us celebrate a 60th birthday with a group of family and friends at a venue. Great experience. We highly recommend them.

Recently had catering done for my daughter's first birthday from Taj Indian Masala and the food was very good. All the guests loved it. The quantity was also good and reasonably priced. The only problem was the delivery driver cancelled last minute so I had to go and pick it up but other than that, a great option for large caterings.

BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN SYDNEY EVER!!! I used to have indian food in Singapore every day and i have quite high standard in Indian food. I’d like to give more than 5 stars here and all the foods was awesome or even better in Singapore. I hope i live nearby here. 😩

Butter Naan was good. Chicken tikka isn’t great. Chicken Tandoori was ok. For the price range they deliver but the taste isn’t great. Ambience is ok !

Been eating at this restaurant for a while now and always enjoyed the delicious food. The food quality has been great always but noticed from last few times that the staff working at the front lacks customer service skills. They don’t greet properly and are always in rush and don’t have the right attitude. Otherwise it’s always a great experience.

Food was good but worst customer service. Waitstaff didn’t bother to take order, kept forgetting the order, avoided eye contact to avoid serving our table. We asked about available alcohols and person working had no idea what they have. I had show them that they have beer in the fridge thats when staff accepted serving it. There is no doubt that food is above average but customer service is just bringing the rating down.

Dropped here for a quick dinner. Ordered methi paratha, roti and palak mushroom. Paratha is a little bit under cooked. Roti and palak mushroom are decent. Serving size is decent for one person. Wont be sufficient for 2. Ambience is okay. Wobbling dining table while eating is not a pleasant experience.

Ordered uber eat. Forgot the stuffing for pani puri. Chicken soup with no taste and sight of chicken. They redelivered, and this is what we got. Seriously????The worst service and food you can ever get in sydney. Thank you Taj.

I recently visited Taj with high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal. However, my experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing due to their mishandling of my order and their refusal to rectify the situation. Upon placing my order, I clearly specified my preferences and double-checked with the server to ensure there were no mistakes over the phone . Unfortunately, when the food we opened at home was wrong. We ordered veg Rohan josh and they gave us meat. I immediately notified them over the phone. To my surprise, the server seemed indifferent and showed no concern for the error. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility, they tried to convince me that I had received the correct dish. It was evident that they were unwilling to acknowledge their mistake. The lack of empathy and refusal to address the error left me frustrated and dissatisfied with my dining experience. It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service. In addition to the incorrect order and the refusal to swap, the overall quality of the food was mediocre at best. The flavors were bland, and the presentation lacked finesse. Considering the hefty prices they charge, I had expected much better. I strongly advise potential diners to think twice before visiting Taj. Their inability to handle mistakes and their unwillingness to satisfy their customers is a clear indication of their lack of professionalism and commitment to customer service. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that value their customers and strive to provide a positive dining experience. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and choose elsewhere for your next meal.

Food was fine, tried it after long time. But the service from the staff which we have received is the worst till now I have ever received in any circumstance and place. It's fairly understandable if that happens in busy time, but there was no one except me and my friend. It is highly recommended that they can try to fix that issue asap.

We have recently order Chicken Tikka starter from restaurant. I was awesome . We really enjoyed starter from this restaurants. The Thali options are also nice. The Veg Thali is really delicious with yummy sweet. The Veg Curry always different everyday in week. We also tried Chola Bhature . "Bhature" was crispy with flupy base. The "Chole" was tendy and spicy. You will definitely love it. The dosa also awesome. Must visit place if you are in homebush and hungry. The staff is nice and always welcoming. This is one of the good Indian restaurant in Homebush Area. Pros: Washroom are clean. Staff is helpful and co-operative. Must try Veg menu. Cons: It's expensive. Service is slow. Parking is on Street and difficult to find.

Awesome Indian food at affordable prices. Great hosts. The meal deals are a steal and leave you satisfied. A great stop if you're in the Harris Park area.

Not at all courteous.Doesnt care attitude. If you are fond of South indian foods and wants to try here, watch out. Half cooked dosa you will get for sure with katta sambar, tasteless chetni. Staff seems to be new as well which means, you can forget about the hospitality.

Taj Indian Masala Homebush is one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney. Order any dish from here and be assured that the quantity and taste will be the best. I am a regular here and the place has never disappointed me or my family. It also has a separate space that can be used for private events. I used that for a get together and was really impressed with the service, presentation and the variety of dishes that were offered in a very reasonable price. I would greatly recommend this place for small parties or casual dinner.
