What a great find. Very pleasant, friendly team, great food, good size portions and happy busy atmosphere. Food was excellent. Would definitely dine again.

What a lovely dining experience! The restaurant is so authentic we felt like we were in Greece! The decor, the traditional Greek music, the staff … just brilliant! Service was so very friendly, attentive and sincere, felt like we were guests at their home. The food was incredible!! Hot, fresh, insanely delicious and generously portioned. Glad we discovered Meet the Greek and will be back at the first chance.

Super busy Greek place on the main strip of Brighton Le Sands. The place is pretty small so I highly recommend making a booking in advance on a Friday. We got their Chicken Skewers and Fish of the day. Both items are very nice! Definitely on the pricier side, but I would return to try some of their other dishes. They also had live music which enhanced the experience.

Our dining experience was amazing thanks to Demetrious, John and Nick who were the most hospitable and gracious hosts. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the lamb and chicken souvlaki, moussaka, calamari and devine desserts!

It was absolutely amazing. The food is delicious, service is the best and they look after you. They brought port drink and Turkish delight desert at the end for the whole table as a thank you. I would recommend as you will be delighted in this restaurant. The administrator is absolutely a gentle man which he always will go beyond to do the best.

As it was cold I decided to order and collect. While I waited the owner came over and gave my daughter and I drinks. No charge. The staff go above and beyond and we're just lovely. I know the food is amazing as I eat here all the time. But the service tonight, was amazing. As I was carrying a small baby, the staff helped me to my car, which they didn't have to do. Thank you! You guys are the best restaurant in Brighton and really show care for your customers. I appreciate that !

Very nice restaurant. Great food and ambience. We really enjoyed it.. good place to go as a couple or family. Service was alright.. the head waitress kept pretending to not understand our accent despite repeating everything several times. Other waiters didn't seem to have this issue. Kind of felt like she was being racist but hard to judge.

The food was very good, came out quick. I loved the decor, it felt like you were in Greece, i felt like i experienced the culture through the food and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Lively atmosphere with 10 out of 10 service. The Greek man serving us was so funny and friendly. One of the best moussaka I've had in Sydney!

A recent Sunday lunch visit to Meet The Greek left is feeling so very satisfied and happy. As a Greek, who gets to eat Greek food at home all the time, I rarely go out to Greek restaurants. But I am glad I did on this particular Sunday. The service is fabulous. Food is yummy with generous servings sizes. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Overall a fantastic place which I highly recommend. Only downside is that parking is a nightmare in Brighton. My partner is in a wheelchair, and it’s really annoying to see soooo many disability spots taken by “people who are taking their elderly parents to local restaurants”. But this has NOTHING to do with the restaurant. Just a heads up to be prepared for the parking…

Best Greek Food in town. I really felt like I was transported to the Greek Islands tonight. They really know how to look after their customers with great service. They suprised my kids with icecream & my grandmother with a birthday dessert suprise.

Amazing live Greek band, amaaazing food and amazing service. Food came very quickly, and was so authentic and delicious. We also received a glass of wine on the house! Lovely owner and staff. Make sure to book but they take walk-ins too

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Sydney. The food was delicious and very fast service. I went to have dinner with my friends and service animal after we were refused entry at la piazza. The staff and owner at meet the Greek were extremely accomodating, friendly and professional. The waiter was so lovely and attentive and brought my service dog water. I would highly recommend the food is excellent, the staff are amazing and the service was great! I would def come back again.

Ate in and they were filming a tv show of some sort. Tried something different and we both enjoyed it. My dinner companion did need there’s heated up though.

We ordered lamb shoulder, grilled octopus, some bbq pork sausage and belly here. Definitely recommend the lamb and octopus 🐙, they are truly delicious 😋 As for pork, chef probably went a little too far on them, which is why they all got a charcoal like exterior… Ouzo is also the must try here, apparently it is a Greek drink with a special spice flavor, people who enjoyed liquor with distinct taste would love it Definitely recommend everyone to give it a go if you’re looking for a nice restaurant with good food around the area ;) Btw, service here is impeccable as well !

Place looked nice! Music was a bit loud inside so we sat outside and they turned on the heater for us. Having dinner there made my day!! We are only here in Australia for 5 days and this is probably my favorite place. We had the Lamb cutlets and some kind of fish. I loooved the lamb and everything in it! Staff was nice too.

If you enjoy Greek food and are Greek it’s difficult to get good quality you’re used to at home or in Greece. This place though nails it! Went there and tried almost everything from the set course as well as additions. Went in a group of 8 and the accommodation for a large or small group is perfect. Great atmosphere and food, and if you’re learning Greek all the staff seemed to have spoken it! Highly recommend and will come back soon once I feel homesick again!

Fantastic food and great evening if you go on a Friday night! The Octopus and Kontosouvli are the winners on the menu. Pasta is also a great option for mains. This place never disappoints for Greek food and is worth the stop by. Beware parking is a punish but that is the area, not the restaurant

Fun and energetic atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff apart from the elderly greek gentlemen that enjoys to kiss and (slightly) grope most female patrons. Authentic food in good sized portions. We attended a combined birthday party in a group of 20 people. We signed up for the $65 banquet and along with some additional wine it was a fun night.

I went to this restaurant and the first second I walked in I felt such a great atmosphere, it was so comforting. Everyone there looked happy including the workers. When we were getting served I noticed the server or owners necklace and after a few moments later he gave it to me. I was so shock but it was the sweetest and greatest feeling. Along with it great live music , food and great service. In my experience it was amazing at "meet the greek"

This restaurant has one of the most caring and diligent waiters you will ever find. On my recent visit, Thursday night, I experienced a fainting session and on top of his first class table waiting, our waiter swung into action and was helpful in the extreme. He helped carry me to our car at the rear of the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for him or the other gentleman who attended us. I can’t speak highly enough of the attention we were paid.
