Brand new, shiny, exciting for 5 year olds! And parents who need a rest. Sat opposite the library, the updated park includes a big kids play zone, nicely contained inside a low fence. New trees are planted and will grow to provide shade. No toilet but the library is over the road

Great family friendly park. Only complaint is the height of the “new style safety fencing for the city of Sydney parks” (way too short). Love the new play equipment which is friendly for ages 12 months+ for 6+ plus the baby swing and net-swing is great. Nice balance of shady areas and park benches to enjoy a coffee from Wilson’s or pastries from Bourke St Bakery and/or local cafes - just limited due to COVID. Nice green grass too for the kids to run around, do yoga, have a picnic.

Amazing upgrade. So colourful and I love the Caesar stone looking slides! Came during lockdown down and my only gripe is no toilets around for kids- library and pubs closed! But shouldn't they have amenities anyway or are we expected to take kids to library or pubs for a wee?

Today a girlfriend, her five year old and I hung out this revamped park. It’s quite sensational as there was no plastic in it anywhere. A slide made of stone, lots of wood with great paint so that there are no splinters and metal. Lots of different parts to keep the kids entertained. I’m sure it’ll get busy but it was a little treasure in the mid afternoon.

Nice park but the slide is dangerous it made out of concrete, if kid went too fast they could go over and hit they’re head.

A tiny park that's kids friendly and dogs friendly. It can get pretty busy with families hanging out during the day, but when it's quiet it's very tranquil somehow. Great location as it's close to pubs, cafes, mini market and a public library. There's an ice cream shop across the road too.

Fun park, with a great children’s place space. And it turns into a market on the first Saturday of the month. Books, retro clothing, ceramics, old wares. And beautiful people. So walk slowly through the park, there’s even jazz. We heard a delightful jazz singer, very pregnant, swing with classics, like Nina Simone’s My Baby Just Cares For Me.

A lovely small park, a great escape from the inner city. Cafes all around, the Clock Hotel and White Horse Hotels, Messina ice-cream across the road, markets every now and then, a kids park.

It’s perfect place for babies and toddler age between 1-3. If they have more shade, would be perfect.

Safe park to let children run and play! Also have a enough bench and grass can have lunch and enjoy the sunlight there

Great lil spot in Surry Hills for kids. This place is toddler friendly too, small slides and baby seat swings. Not the biggest and there is no shelter. Lots of cafes and pubs around!

Great for younger children (5 and under) as the playground features are on the smaller side. There's a fun house for them to explore as well as a wood balance beam like structure. Restrooms available at the Surry Hills library building across the street, though I'm not sure if it's accessible when the library is not open.
