Dr.
Craig
Lampert
has
been
my
hematologist
since
2015.
Before
seeing
him,
and
sometimes
his
colleagues,
I
was
frequently
experiencing
blood
clots
and
hospitalized
as
a
result.
My
prior
doctors
were
often
dismissive
and
could
not
hear
my
physical
symptoms
and
concerns
as
valid,
or
real.
I
suffer
from
complex
post
traumatic
stress
disorder
with
symtoms
which,
at
times,
are
worse
during
overlapping
treatment
for
my
physical
symptoms.
As
a
result,
these
physical
symptoms
were
often
labeled
as
anxiety.
Dr.
Lampert
has
been
the
ONLY
hematologist
with
whom
I
have
worked
who
has
always
taken
my
symptoms,
and
me,
seriously.
Every
visit
I
make
to
Astera
Cancer
Care
is
a
satisfying
experience.
The
staff
are
inviting,
kind
and
respectful.
Dr.
Lampert
takes
his
time.
He
is
thorough
in
his
evaluation
of
any
new
concerns
I
may
have
and
shows
compassion,
patience
and
sensativity
to
all
concerns
I
share.
These
may
be
the
physical
symptoms
connected
to
my
clotting
disorder
or
to
the
emotional
ups
and
downs
of
my
mental
health
struggle.
While
he
is
a
great
doctor,
he
is
also
another
human
like
me
and
everyone
else.
We
all
have
bad
days.
Even
still,
in
the
one
or
two
visits
over
seven
years
of
treatment
with
Dr.
Lampert,
he
was
still
more
than
just
my
doctor
with
a
treatment
plan,
but
also
one
who
could
still
see
me
as
a
patient
in
need
of
professionalism,
knowledge,
patience
and
compassion.
I
trust
only
one
other
doctor
with
my
care.
Astera
Cancer
Care;
Dr.
Lampert
specifically,
always
does
what
can
be
done
to
meet
the
needs
of
the
patient.
Dr.
Lampert
meets
me
where
I
am
at
and
helps
me
maintain
my
physical
health
and
stay
out
of
the
hospital.
