A nice thai place in Morristown. Totally loved the food here, the service is good and fast. For app we had Tom yum soup, dumpling and roti canai. Everything was tasty and tasted great. The dumpling has a good amount of filling in them and was really good. The roti was so thin and tasty. For entree we had pad thai with chicken which was good. The red curry chicken was great, it was not at all coconuty like in other thai restaurant. The basil fried rice was also nice. Really loved the food here and would recommend definitely!

Malay in Morristown, NJ is a delightful restaurant that serves authentic Malaysian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The decor is simple yet elegant, with beautiful wooden furniture and traditional artwork adorning the walls. The menu at Malay is extensive and offers a range of delicious dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Some of the standout dishes include the Beef Rendang, a rich and flavorful curry made with slow-cooked beef in a blend of spices, and the Char Kway Teow, a stir-fried noodle dish with shrimp, egg, and bean sprouts. One of the unique features of Malay is the rotating specials menu, which features seasonal dishes and new creations from the chef. This adds an element of excitement to each visit and keeps the menu fresh and interesting. The portions at Malay are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, making it a great choice for diners with dietary restrictions. Overall, Malay in Morristown, NJ is a must-visit for anyone who loves Malaysian cuisine or is looking to try something new. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and inviting atmosphere makes for an unforgettable dining experience.

Recently found this Malaysian restaurant and gave them a try. This is a small restaurant and only has one big table and need to be reserved if you have a large party of 10-12 people and want to eat family style. They are better than the Malaysian restaurant in East Hanover. We tried to order their duck a few times and it was sold out. Parking is kind of tricky.

I have never actually been to the restaurant in person, I have only ordered take out. Everything has been great every time, but the stand out is the pineapple fried rice. It is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm not sure what they do to make it so good, but I would highly recommend trying it.

There is undoubtedly, always something interesting to taste. The nice thing too, is the food is made to order, fresh and hot. You can expect friendly service; always part of Malay culture. The interior has a warm atmosphere with traditional decorations. This restaurant is in a shared plaza with available parking. It's never too busy, so parking shouldn't be an issue. The price point of their food is average, and what you'd expect for NJ or the east coast.

I had their little neck clams special last weekend. It was so fresh the portion was generous. The sauce was not something I had before, they call it golden fragrant sauce. The staffs were friendly and very accommodating to my friend's allergies as well. 10/10!!

Iam lost with words. This bowl of noodle soup was really something else! They have a fish head version but I prefer meat in my fish. so the friendly waiter suggested this fillet fish noodle soup. I will def come back for more!

I come here regularly for many years. And lately I noticed many new specials when I come to dine in. Today I decided to try their Summer Shrimp salad and I'm so glad I did!! The shrimp was juicy and the salad dressing was very interesting, spicy but not intense & so flavorful.

Two of us shared rendang with chicken and Malay char kway teow. I loved the former - - that onion/lemongrass curry is uniquely delicious. My only criticism is both dishes had the 🌶 "hot and spicy" symbol, but there was almost no spiciness in either.

Really authentic Malaysian fare. We had the deep fried snapper with black bean sauce. The fish was so fresh and the flavors were great. We also had the squid with “Malay” sauce in Malaysia this would be equivalent to the Kam Heong sauce- it was amazing. We also had the sizzling tofu with minced chicken so flavorful and rich. It exceeded our expectations!

Warm & Cosy Restaurant. The food is light, less spice and perfect for an evening dinner. Spring Rolls & the Basil fried rice is a must try.

A new local favorite of ours. Efficient, polite service. Pad Thai was delightfully nutty with hints of fish sauce & fresh spice. Pineapple fried rice is another favorite - we’ve tried both veggie & chicken. If you’re looking for basil, both the noodles & fried rice are good options. We haven’t tried many of the starters but the chicken satay was delicious the time that we ordered. Great portions for the $.

I have enjoyed this place a couple times, but this is my first review. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees and shared for three people and it was plenty of food. Prepared well, good service, try this place. The little cookies brought to the table gratis at the end was a nice touch and a perfect way to end the meal.

Great food, portions, service, prices and especially people who run this busy eatery conveniently located just across the street from Morristown NJT station. Lengthy menu with Malaysian, Thai, Indian and Chinese food choices. Has become a go to place for our family,

I stopped by here during my lunch break & sat inside. The food here is so fresh and authentic ! The cabbage soup was so good and I don’t even like cabbage lol My waiter was very nice & prompt. I’ll definitely be here again to try more things. LIKE 👍🏾 If this was helpful -your local Realtor @safiyasoldit

Ordered Sesame Chicken and Pineapple Fried Rice for a total of $46 - way overpriced. The chicken was slimy and inedible. The rice was pretty good. If you order off of their website, it is actually still handled through DoorDash, which I did not like either. Won’t be back.

We visited for lunch to try out the food. It was not up to my expectations. Lunch menu was not that great taste, but salad was very good. Mango sticky rice Desert was also good. Best part is roti channai was great. They gave me egg drop soup as vegetarian ( 😜 ), for vegetarians make sure to ask before you eat.
