Really is a great park. It has something for everyone. From the parents who wish to bring their kids to the exercise junkie who wants to work up sweat to the older couple who want a place to relax. There even is a doggie water fountain! There is plenty of room, so it never feels crowded no matter how many people are there. There's also a dog park with 2 sections. One for larger dogs and on for smaller dogs. These are pictures of Sunday and Monday on Memorial weekend.

This is a part of the Lenape trail and I must say the most kid-(and pet)friendly trail we have seen so far. Located in a lovely neighbourhood, the park has beautiful tree cover and huge playgrounds. You can just park your vehicle by the grass and have a family picnic. On our most recent visit, we spotted some bunnies running in the grass. The kids play area is very nice too.

Its a very big, nice and clean park....they have almost every rides for kids and benches and tables are there too(for kids and adults) We went there a week ago and got an amazin touch of fall foliage. Everything was red, yellow and orange. Just loved the view and my toddler was enjoying the rides....we also had pizza with our family on their sitting places. Best time for all season especially for cherry blossom and fall foliage 🌸🍁🍂💞 They have butterfly, turtle and rabbit statues where kids can take amazing photos.

Great park. Love coming here with my dog. There are decent public restrooms and nice walking paths. The trees are especially beautiful in the spring and fall. Definitely a great park for a picnic.

With the feel of a large European park, Brookdale offers miles of walking paths, dog parks (separated for large & small dogs), ball fields, running track, rose garden, playground and beautiful Garden State landscapes. A perfect place to spend a summer afternoon... Or spring, or fall, and sometimes even winter.

Took my daughter's ferret to the park for a little walk. We walked under the trees in the shade. He really enjoyed it. Running and rolling around in the grass. It was a hot day (well yeah, it's summer😎) I brought water with me & a small container. We took a water break & he was ready for more

Took my flexi bike here today. Great road to ride on with a bike path. Great workout! I rode 8 miles while there. I also walked 5 miles around the racetrack there. Got a great tan!

We found this park via an art fair, and then found the playground and other activities. A ton of things to do, and a lot going on all the time. Definitely a hot spot in the area. Good bathrooms near the main parking area and most drinking fountains are working well.

Brookdale Park is a county park and there are concerts and fireworks in the summer. We go to the fireworks every year and they are so well done with live music and food trucks. Great family picnic atmosphere. The park itself was designed by the Olmsted Brothers that did Central Park in NYC. There are different sections: a walking track and exercise stations, soccer field, fenced in play park, dog park, and flower garden, as well as an open grass area. On weekends there is usually an ice cream truck by the play park.

BrookdalePark is beautifully designed and serene despite its vibrant constituents. Lots of parents with children at the lovely playground and picnic area. Accessible and clean bathrooms except in the winter. Beautifully maintained and litter free. Fantastic place to walk especially with a dog as most people and their pets are exceptionally respectful and friendly.

Pleasant place to walk. Plenty of athletic areas. Soccer, baseball, softball, and even an archery area. Restroom facilities. Very nice rose garden. Fair amount of parking in lots and on roadway. The thing I like the best is that most of the walkways are tree-lined and shady.

Visited 2 weeks ago, enjoyed it l, we walk through the Rose Square Art festival. It was amazing. A lot to enjoy and see with your family. If you're interested in showing your art, jewelry, clothes, frames, metal art and paintings. And much more. They do it every year around this time.
