I
moved
to
New
York
a
few
months
ago
Since
then
I’ve
tried
just
about
every
Chinese
place
in
Brooklyn
that
delivers
to/is
a
reasonable
distance
from
Coney
Island/Brighton
beach
etc
The
majority
of
them
were
terrible
and
overpriced,
often
inedible
ie
I
would
literally
take
a
bite
or
two,
throw
it
away
and
get
something
else
instead,
how
they
all
remain
open,
I
have
no
idea.
For
me
it
comes
down
between
chowtime
and
chap
a
nosh
More
options,
Higher
price,
quality
and
taste
(chap
a
nosh)
Fewer
options,
Lower
price,
quality
and
taste
(chowtime)
They
both
have
their
plus
and
minuses
I
rotate
between
the
two
depending
on
mood
and
how
much
I
feel
like
spending
Chowtime
is
much
cheaper
with
$8~
entrees
vs
chap
a
nosh
$22~
entrees,
but
in
turn
the
chicken
quality,
chicken
is
more
mushy/lesser
texture,
breading
is
never
very
crispy,
and
flavor
is
the
general
tso
and
sesame
chicken
is
fairly
bland,
not
unique
or
memorable
vs
chap
a
nosh
better
chicken,
crispy
breading
and
stronger
flavors,
but
both
acceptable
and
edible
at
different
price
points
I
wish
chowtime
would
add
a
sweet
and
sour
chicken
entree
I
wish
chowtime
would
use
the
star
shaped
wonton
wrappers
on
their
crab
Rangoon
as
many
others
do,
their
filling
is
good,
but
the
wrapper
they
use
now
is
never
crispy
and
lacks
a
decent
flavor,
their
filling
+
better
crispier
wrapping
would
make
them
one
of
the
best
around
Both
places
fried
rice
are
nearly
the
same,
with
with
chowtimes
$7~
vs
chap
a
nosh
$17~
chowtime
definitely
wins
I
usually
always
get
chicken
fried
rice,
two
chicken
entrees
and
crab
Rangoon
or
potstickers
which
results
in:
Chowtime:
$30~
Chap
a
nosh:
$72~
I
really
wish
one
could
mix
good
quality
with
reasonable
price,
but
until/unless
that
ever
happens
there’s
a
pretty
big
disparity
