Finally stumbled upon this shop when they were open and it did not disappoint! From the outside, you’d think Far Away Places is focused on US collectibles but the real star is in the vast cultural collections that include brass homeware, beautiful stone and wooden bookends, gemstone jewelry, and the colored glassware. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Plus, Rozie was incredibly warm and fun to chat with! Will definitely be back.

She showed me a bunch of different earrings till I found a pair I liked. There are many unique items in this place at a very affordable price. This is a hidden gem on George street.
