DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT RESPECT YOUR REQUEST TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP. They are quick to sign you up over the phone and cut corners but won't allow you to cancel over the phone. Seems like a double standard to me and I am appalled at the lack of customer care at UFC Gym North Brunswick. The situation: I decided to sign up for this gym last November in 2021. I called to see what was needed to sign up and was waiting for paperwork to be sent to me before activating my account. I was not totally comfortable signing up over the phone so the representative assured me my account would only activate once I signed the papers sent to my email. I did not want my account started until I could be sure I would be working in the area. They activated it without my consent and when I brought it up with them so they could rectify the mistake and end my membership, they said I had to physically come to the gym. I live over an hour away and without reliable transportation this was not an option. They refused to end my membership and have been charging me since November 2021. That's right! I asked them to end my account and stop charging me given they made a mistake, and they would not. I have never once stepped foot in the gym as a member, and yet they refuse to cancel my membership. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH MANAGEMENT: I have called many times to speak with a manger and never receive a call back, I am harassed constantly about my overdue bill with phone calls and voicemails (saying repeatedly that "this is out last attempt to contact you"), and have been forced to resort to freezing my credit card to prevent these fraudulent charges. All I asked for was a simple cancellation right after they signed me up without my signature and instead of being honorable, they have been charging me for over a year now. Don't give them your money, they do not care about you, only getting paid.

The Gym is ok, the jiu jitsu program is world class. The men’s room could be better, the drinking fountain has not been turned back on since Covid. The worst thing about the gym is they sometimes burn this awful smelling incense. Please stop the smoke from the burning incense and put in some nice citrus or something like that.

Absolutely love this gym! Variety of equipment, sauna and posing room. Staff are extremely friendly! Gym is usually never packed which is very convenient. The environment is overall great, friendly and hardcore!

I have been a member of UFC NB since Jan of 2018. I was looking to get some affordable MMA training - specifically Muay Thai. I started taking the class offered by James Smith and was instantly hooked. This instructor is a retired pro fighter - he is an amazing trainer. Although not looking to go pro myself, as a woman I now feel I have the skills to defend myself against an attacker. I also love the people in the class (teenagers all the way to 50 year olds, guys and girls) we have fun together and its kind of like a community. The class is offered 3-4 times a week at a reasonable price compared to other boxing / mma gyms in this area.

Decent gym but doesn't have all the equipment I looked for in comparison to other gyms. Gym is too small in my opinion esp if your a busy person that want a simple workout that involves you being in and out. The price of the membership was too much for decent machines. Small gym = less gym equipment = extended unnecessary time at the gym.. Larger gyms have way more machines and your workouts are quicker. I didn't care too much for the gym equipment but however the personal training is what I looked forward to.

Great gym. Everyone is helpful and it’s always a great environment. Love coming here! Best place to come blow off some steam and clear ur mind. 10/10! Two years later I still love this gym!!! Lari is a great worker and she always gives a great welcome as soon as I walk into the gym! Would recommend to everyone!!!

I have been a member in this gym for over a year. I came to this gym hoping to get personal training sessions since my pervious gym did not have trainer available to help me with my goals. The personal training sessions helped me a lot. It's a huge facility with all the machines you could ever need. They have huge section for free weights and functional hammer machines, 1 boxing ring, bag room, spin room, cardio machines, gym store, Juice bar, and clean locker rooms with sauna. They offer a range of group fitness classes, MMA classes and youth fitness classes. I am hoping to get my son(preschooler) in kick boxing or jiu-jitsu class soon so we can workout at the same time in the gym. It's a great facility with friendly staff who are always ready to help. The gym members are also very co-operative and cordial. I would definitely recommend this gym.

I’ve attended UFC for several years now and having dabbled in other gyms I can confidently say this is my go to gym. The variety of equipment allows you to have functional training without having to wait around too long for use. The daily ultimate training is a well rounded push for those inclined for the challenges. The boxing and kickboxing classes are adaptable to all skill sets (beginner thru advanced). Rag is the nicest guy and truly cares about the well being of the community.

New member. The facility is so spacious and clean. The classes are so fun and worth the money. The staff and other gym goers are so welcoming, it really feels like a little family here. Really looking forward to my new forever gym and the new things I will be learning on this journey.

Nice spacious gym, rarely feels crowded, but there is no water fountain and the sauna in the women’s room has not worked for like 2 months. Now that it’s winter I am strongly considering canceling my membership due to no sauna and getting the run around every time I ask about it

So do you guys open Monday morning at midnight or no?? It says your open but when I get there it's closed. Still a great gym, just wish you guys would be consistent with your hours.

Been coming here for over a year now . This gym has all essential equipment for my workouts. All equipments are constantly services and up to date. Not to mention the culture is one of a kind, the staff is always there to assist us and provide any necessary knowledge as it pertains exercising and having a better workout. The owners are very personable and very respectful . Great overall gym !

I've been training for over 15 years and been to countless amount of gyms. Ufc gym is the best one I've been to by far. People think this is only a ufc gym but they have the best workout equipment. All of the staff there are amazing I've gotten to know them personally. -Anthony Z

Excellent instructors and great facility. Has a little bit of everything for everybody! Greatly improved my boxing and Muay Thai skills in a comfortable and safe environment while also being able to work out at the gym at my own pace. Also more affordable than most MMA gyms in the area. I’ve had an amazing experience so far. Highly recommend!

I love this gym. Everything is cleaned, all weights are on the right place. I'm going to this gym in early mornings before my work to avoid a lot of people. I'm leaving this review so management will react somehow. Today Aug 1 2022, they suppose to open at 6am. I was in this gym at 7am and it was closed. It's happened for second time with me for the short period of time. Another day on Sunday July 24 they suppose to be opened at 8am and person who open a gym showed up approx 9.30am. It's annoying. Please do smth with this.

UFC is amazing! Muay Thai/mma with Coach James is such a great work out. He pushes you to work hard and really makes you feel confident. You don't need experience. You just need to be willing to work hard. The class feels like a family and we love when new people come!

Ufc gym is easily the best gym I’ve ever been to in my life. Aside from the great friends I’ve made, ufc gym assures top high quality equipment with a great atmosphere. You get beyond what you pay for. I could go on and on, but instead you’ll just have to experience it for yourself.

I have been going here for at least a year and the vibe has always been great. They have classes like Mui thai which gives me the chance to be better a fighter. They have a ton of equipment and hold special events like fighting and celebrity meet and greets. Plusssss my personal favorite is they have a sauna.
