Ordered 2 eggs and cheese on Kaiser and pork roll egg and cheese. Hardly any meat on the sandwich and barely any eggs. Was not satisfying. It was my first and last time. The owner was there and was nice but he should keep an eye on the quantity and quality of the food going out.

Horrible experience!! They told me this insect was from the racks when you can clearly see a bug of some sort!! My 4 year old grandson was going eat this bagel before he bought it to my attention.

I'm no expert but I do absolutely love a good bagel. Having lived in NY, Brooklyn, and eating bagels every week for most of my life, I've come to appreciate what makes a really really good bagel. Chewy exterior, soft pillowy interior, good flavorful add-ins and a nice size to them. I've tried every bagel place in a fifteen mile radius and Bagel Express has the best bagels, hands down. They are identical to the bagels I was addicted to in Brooklyn, and they bake them fresh every day and throughout the morning. I love when I just happen to get there when they're throwing the hot bagels into the bin. Delicious and so satisfying! Not only that but the owner and his family are good, kind people who work hard and are always pleasant to see in the morning or afternoon.

Wish I could give this place 1/2 a star. Ordered 2 breakfast bagels sandwiches and specifically asked for scramble eggs. Opened the sandwich and it’s a fried egg. Showed the lady and she’s arguing that it’s scrambled when it’s clearly fried. Also looks like half an egg with barely any meat. Save your money and go to Park Deli.

We switched to Bagel Express from Boomerang Bagels because Boomerang’s quality went down significantly after the new ownership. Bagel Express makes solid bagels, my only complaint and request is to stop being so cheap with the everything seasoning on everything bagels, come on load it up. The everything with it’s minuscule amount of seasoning tastes just like a plain. So, BE you heard?

Our favorite bagel place in the Milltown area, Bagel Express is located on Ryder’s Lane at the intersection with Washington Avenue. With a wide selection to choose from their bagels are always fresh and damn good! You can eat in or take out and there’s always plenty of coffee and other drink choices. My favorite breakfast sandwich is an everything bagel with turkey bacon, egg and cheese. If you’re looking for a great lunch choice try the Lil’ Spicy Panini with cracked pepper turkey.

Quaint little family owned neighborhood bagel store..you can tell the owner cares about his customers. Very reasonably priced excellent fresh food and friendly service. A must go every time.you're in Millwood NJ

I got this breakfast sandwich here, and it is pathetic. Theres a sliver of eggs and maybe three slices of bacon. Sandwich is 80% bread. Been coming here my whole life, and will not be coming back after this.

They should change their name to skimpy bagels my wife ordered cream cheese on a sesame bagel they put a tiny spread on it I've never seen anything like this from a bagel store and I ordered ham egg and cheese and it hardly had anything on it it's mostly a bagel

I had an amazing experience at this bagel shop! The bagels were freshly baked and had the perfect texture – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The variety of flavors and toppings was impressive, making it hard to choose just one. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring my order was exactly as I wanted it. I'll definitely be coming back for more delicious bagels. Five stars all the way!

When it comes to bagels I'm a "everything" ' type of a guy and I love white fish spread with red onions slightly toasted so, that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, when it arrived the spread of white fish was unacceptable. I've had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with more peanut butter on it than the super lightly spread of white fish they put on it. The bagel was bland and I had a chalky taste to it, the people are friendly and the place is clean but I will not return especially with a better option just a few tenths of a mile away. If you can't get a basic staple bagel right with a generous portion of spread then that place ain't the place for me.

The crew is always helpful and makes you feel welcome. The bagels are very good and the coffee is the perfect match! They do quite an assortment of sandwiches, salads, etc. and, therefore, it is an easy one stop venue that will satisfy the whole bunch!

Not sure how you mess up turkey bacon eggs with no cheese. Every single time I order here with no cheese I get cheese. I don't understand. I'm never going back.

I live at a large Adult community in East Brunswick. We have been using the catering service of Bagel Express for years. Most recently Ram and his team catered for us for approximately 40 people. From the start, they are most accommodating to your needs. The food came on time, and everyone at the party raved! Everything from the bagels, rolls, various spreads to desert was unbelievably delicious. Highly recommend!!!

This family owned store has such a wide variety of freshly made bagels and you can dress them any way you want! My go to is the toasted garlic bagel with pork roll, egg, and cheese with scallion cream cheese! It's a great breakfast sandwich that keeps me full throughout the day! They are open 6am-2pm and have a wide variety of menu options! The staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Bagels were doughy. Had no flavor. Tasted more like eating flour. Ordered a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel and an everything bagel sandwich with a side order of bacon. Neither bagel had barely any flavor. Was given 3 slices of cold bacon.
