First timer. Went there to taste some bakery stuff.. got chocolate cake and cheese 🍰 .. was really good . Chocolate 🍰 was really awesome. We also tried their muffins. Was huge and just 2.75$. Worth the money . Few parking spots available in the front . Quick service .. overall a good experience…

UPDATE. Still fun and good service and food. Food is very good. We ordered omelettes and the Build a Breakfast off the menu. Plenty of food including pancakes, toast and potatoes. Price was moderate, about $60 for four of us. Service was excellent, however the restaurant wasn't crowded. Perkins is kid and family friendly, which made the visit more enjoyable.

Here for the first time with my pregnant wife, all the way from up north.. my wife is a preschool teacher near by and she was told to come here whenever she wanted to have a good breakfast.. “ WELL RECOMMENDED “ absolutely a great family and friendly atmosphere. Staff is great and friendly- I absolutely will come again and bring friends and families to experience what we just experienced… never look at the price for great service.. 5 out of 5 … 💯💯💯💯💯

The service was outstanding, but the food was poor. The scrambled eggs should be made in a skillet, not on a griddle. The biscuits were not good. The bacon was great. Pancakes were well done. It has WiFi, and that was my main reason for stopping there.

I have visited several times, and I am very satisfied. The food was good, service was good, prices are reasonable. *I like the pancake.

Atmosphere was clean; comfortable, decorative, and accommodating. The food was pleasing to the eye; portioned well, and tasted amazing. The service was polite; kind and courteous.

I am originally from Staten Island and have been going to Perkins since I was a child. Since I have moved to NJ and now have my own children, they love coming here as well! This is our go to spot for breakfast and everyday diner dishes. It's nice to see familiar faces with their staff and there is a pleasant atmosphere every time we come. Thank you!

11/11/2023 My mother and I went here because we were shopping in the area we decided to have french toast and the only issue i had was we were given margarine instead of butter but i didn't worry about it to much im sure i could have just asked for butter. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and the place was very clean they also had hand sanitizer on every table.. I like that they have a sign on the door letting you know theres going to be a 3.5% up charge to you bill if you use credit or debit instead of cash.

Love Perkins so much. The staff is very friendly and it feels like a local place and part of the neighborhood. Service is quick and efficient. The food is delicious. I always go for breakfast. I think Perkins has the best pancakes first of all. Second, the corned beef hash is the real homey kind with the potato cubes. That's what I want when I order corned beef hash! Eggs are always perfect and the baked goods are usually great. this particular time we went and ordered a cinnamon roll. It was disappointing and surprising!! Very stale and dry and not enough icing. Took one bite and asked for it to be brought back to the kitchen. Our server took ot off the bill with no issues.

The food was absolutely amazing, the waiter was so attentive and intuitive! Even the receptionist at the front was very kind and considerate. Overall great experience l, will be going to this Perkins for now on over our local one.

We love going here after 3pm. Always quiet during the week and we all can find something we like.

This is a very low frills restaurant but there is giant things happening in that kitchen! We stopped in while we were traveling to our next stop and let me tell you whenever we come back we will defiantly stop here! From the turkey and dressing to the stuffing and tater tots,the mashed potatoes,the country fried steak! It was so delicious!! Our service while eating here was also impeccable, the owner has defiantly dedicated his or her timing to selecting the right candidates! After you eat grab a slice of cheese cake! You will regret it if you don’t! Highly recommended! (Also we are from the south,some times food tastes different and alot of places in the northern areas don’t have tea. This place feels like a southern commodity and they have sweet and unsweetened tea)

Over cooked omelet and deep fried potatoes when I was told they were pan fried. I like Denny's better and it is less expensive. Nice that they left the coffee pot at the table for easy refills. The waitress was good but I won't go back.

I take my Dad for an anytime breakfast meal at Perkins. Their coffee is exceptional and many food specials to choose from. Great service as well.

For anyone who has ever been to a Perkins, they are still exactly the same. This one is in New Jersey. For anyone who has not been to a Perkins, the food here is good, the prices are fair, and the place is kept reasonably clean. Unlike an IHOP nothing here is sticky. They clean at Perkins. The food is as good or better than a Waffle House and the decor is nicer.

My family and I have made this our go to breakfast location since we relocated to New Jersey in 2014. It's a great family atmosphere with a very friendly and attentive staff. I haven't had one complaint since I first enjoyed a meal there 8 years ago.

Oh my God! We had a greatest breakfast in here! My daughter had her birthday that morning, they sang for her ! The place and the food was amazing!! Not at all long waiting time even the place was full! Loved it!!!

Food is very good, especially breakfast. Build a breakfast ioffering is a very good offering. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable and you get good sized portions for your money. The restaurant is kid friendly.

I absolutely enjoyed visiting this Perkins. The people were very friendly, and the food was on point. I had the egg whites with turkey sausage links and strawberry french toast. It was absolutely delicious, fresh and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this location especially if you are from out of state, or in my case, a former NJ resident now resident of FL.

I had seafood omelet for breakfast.. with harsh browns. It was crunchy. I liked it. If you like that kind of thing.. It did not have a lot of taste so I add pepper and hot sauce. I think they should have been cooked in butter.. it would been tasty 😋.. next time I will request it like that!

Place was great. Food was awesome. Clean, and the service was good. Only thing that bothered me a little was the automatic 18% gratuity included in my bill. Over 6 people in my party. I was taught to double the tax on your bill.
