Myself and my wife went to the metro diner just this past week have to say very friendly service our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about all products and all the specials that they we’re offering. Food portion I would say overall it’s pretty good I feel that the portion that I received for the corn beef hash was a little bit on the smaller side but otherwise very well-made and one of the best told me Quora be fair should I ever had my wife also had the biscuits and gravy again very well-made tasted like something you’d find down south the only thing that she said she didn’t like about it is that they put a little too much pepper in it but other than that we would go back again and re-order it and just asked for a little less pepper again we had really great service even the manager came over and checked on the table see how everything was the only thing that I found about the diner itself was a little bit on the small side so I would be hesitant to go there on a busy weekend just because I don’t see a lot of seating in there so you could be waiting a little while for a table other than that I would definitely recommend going there and I will definitely go back myself to try some other meals that they have to offer

Really friendly staff. They made my morning. The food is great and made to order from scratch. I come to NJ every 3 month and this is definitely my place to go to from now on. I wish we had place like that by my house.

Fast and friendly service. Authentic southern fare. Highly recommend tater tots app, chicken and waffles and the double grilled cheese burger with a fried egg. Clean and quaint. Will be back for sure!
